No worries about the noise ..... we've got a shed!!

octo · 17/06/2007 21:59

LOL

DH has made hot choc so am off now - wocks and all

Never considered a hamster before - but could see how it may have a mesmerising effect on a yelling baby - think you may have a sound business idea there!

My friend went to the Apprentice final party last week and he said that Katie got a complete grilling - much more than we saw and that Simon - who one - is basically going to become Alan Sugars building surveyor. He said Adam had a barbie like woman with him and all his spots were gone! And apparently Katie is planning to become a female version of Simon Cowell - like Mrs Nasty - but Simon Cowell is successful ans she is plainly not and unemployable.... hmm will be amazed if she makes anything of herself.

AngeG · 17/06/2007 21:59

Hope that made you feel better DippyIt wasn't too much was it

maveta · 17/06/2007 22:01

Phew! Keeping up been a bit hard the last few days but have been trying my best. Thought I´d better write a few lines or I´ll feel even further behind!

Expressing - it´s going okay here, at the moment I express at about 3am which isn´t exactly ideal but I wake up automatically with my boobs full to bursting and a couple of hours before N will want a feed. So I stumble through to the kitchen and hook myself up.. takes about 10mins to get 3ozs as they are so full. I could get more but 10mins is more than enough to ease them off and I get straight back to bed. If I need to build up a feed I just express halfway between feeds during the day but I might get 2ozs for 20-30mins expressing so it depends if N is sleeping, if I can be bothered etc etc. On the whole I´m not bothering during the day at the mo´ though I might start again cos while I´m stocking up the freezer well, I´d also like dh to give him his last feed of the evening in a bottle to give me a break. I get around the whole ´but he might need fed right after I´ve expressed´ by reasoning that worst case and your boobs were empty, just give them what you have just expressed! A subject close to my heart, can you tell?!

No other news, great weekend with my big sister and her dh but they´ve gone home again now.. had our first night out without N, lovely meal and bottle of wine, felt pretty exhausted yesterday though having a slight hangover and late night before so not in a rush to repeat. Woke up this am at 3 to express and N woke at 4 to eat and then again at 7 so I was knackered. I obviously fell asleep on the bed as he fed so dh took him and left me to sleep for a couple of hours more. What a star.

Thanks for all the lovely photos, really nice to see all of your beautiful wee ones, will post some of N soon.

Sorry it´s been all me me me, will try to be a bit better next time!

EllieK · 17/06/2007 22:01

there is one slight problem here ladies

i appear to have overlooked the fact that if i get a life and visit Dippy, I can't spend all day on MN

can you cope?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 17/06/2007 22:01

Dippy you looked really glamorous, and the photo of your DDs is so cute. Now my computer's playing up with the PhoebeFlower one so I'm going to try again tomorrow as i need some sleep!

EllieK · 17/06/2007 22:03

i need a new name

it gets confusing sometimes with elkie and elliek

and now there's a MNer called EllieG

so help!

OP posts:
Katy44 · 17/06/2007 22:03

Ellie, can't you MN together?
Hi everyone else
With expressing I find I have to do it all the time, or not at all. If i express every day I can easily get 4oz in one go - about 20 mins (and I have to stop otherwise the bottle ould be overflowing!) but if I haven't done it for a while it takes me a full day to get a feed, ounce by painful ounce

AngeG · 17/06/2007 22:04

Ellie How will we cope without you?

At least the SE ladies will get to meet you in person.

Katy44 · 17/06/2007 22:04

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 17/06/2007 22:04

We'll be able to log on together in the mornings & evenings .... does that make you feel better Ellie??

Hi Maveta - Go & get some rest!! {{{{hugs}}}

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 17/06/2007 22:06

Speaking of rest.....think I should go get myself some. Night lovely ladies. xx

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 22:07

OP posts:
AngeG · 17/06/2007 22:09

Night Dippy.

Hope Joe settles down Ellie.

PMSL Nutty - Hope it's not too messy Could you pretend you haven't noticed and let DH do it himself?

Pinions · 17/06/2007 22:12

Well ladies as always thanks for the chat.

When I get a break from my mammoth exercise expedition I'll be back to c all you lovelies, hope the SE meet up goes well...........don't forget to fill us in on all the ups and downs, hopefully more ups than downs eh!

On a final note does anyones babba do that kind of psycho laughing to themselves and grinning at the same time whilst asleep, fairly disturbing stuff x

maveta · 17/06/2007 22:13

Dippy the dress and of course YOU look gorgeous, I did think that when I saw the photo, just forgot to mention it in my rather self absorbed post!

Pinions, am still bf-ing but the odd bottle of ebm here and there. I did give a total of 3 bottles of formula over about 10 days a few weeks ago when I was reaching breaking point with the bf-ing but I´m glad I did because they helped me cope. Good on you with all the exercise - where do you find the time??? Have decided I need to make some kind of effot but will only be in terms of a daily long brisk walk during the week and jogging at weekend with dh (no motivation to go alone) for the next wee while to see how I get on. No plans to diet though

Madrid just won the football league, lots of fireworks being let off which is really stressing me out in case it wakes N up

Which reminds me.. very belated WAVE back to you claricebean, that was from a few days ago..sorry!

And Ellie, also a bit late I know but am glad you got yourself to the doctor and hope it helps x (i know, no hugs but surely a little kiss sent your way is ok?)

LesleyR · 17/06/2007 22:13

Goodnight Dippy I also meant to say earlier taht your Dh was alucky guy escorting 4 lovely girls to the wedding. You all looked fab.

Nutty do you ever find yourself amazed at how much time we (first time parents) spend looking at/commenting on/cleaning up baby poo? Who knew it was so interesting? I'm not being sarcastic-DH and I have at least 1 poo convo per day!

octo · 17/06/2007 22:14

Pinions - its the one on at £409,950 at the bottom of the first page - 4 bed detached in Paignton.

EllieK · 17/06/2007 22:15

MN keeps making me cry

there was a link to this song

and this thread

OP posts:
AngeG · 17/06/2007 22:16

Pinions funny you should mention that. Izzy was doing that last night when she was asleep on my lap...DH said he'd be grinning and laughing like that if he could have my tits in his mouth

maveta · 17/06/2007 22:16

i´m off cd, you´re a sweetie. night girls, sweet dreams
