oooh good idea about the rusks dh but i don't think i started that thread? i started a cheeky one with a headline from the Observer saying purees weren't natural for babies! was bored and wanted to see how many people i could get to fight! ironically my zombie apocalypse thread got more people on it!

another crappy night here again - he was up three or four times and eventually dh brought him into our bed at about half four, where he stayed till 8!

Morning all!
My good as gold daughter is beginning to rebel....this morning's nap - usually 8 til 10 - has been fiercely resisted, and only now has sleep got the better of her. Bet she'll be awake in five minutes... She didn't want to sleep yesterday afternoon either, despite ridiculous yawning and eye rubbing. Two nights ago, an hour after going to bed, she woke up and screamed - made me jump (I was home alone). Don't think I've run so fast up those stairs before. Needless to say, all was well and she just wanted a cuddle. Hmm...teeth? Or is she just growing up? Sob...my baby...growing up...

UD - I saw that article yesterday and was surprised not to see a thread about it on MN. Must have been looking in the wrong place.

We're due to have our landscape gardeners starting today or tomorrow so am awaiting their phone call. It's going to take 4 weeks!! Not much else planned for this week. Hope pg bf is coming to visit with her mum later in the week, then we're off on our hols! A week without MN - how will I cope!

Ooooooops......Ellen has just fallen off the sofa onto the wooden floor. It happened while I was on the phone to DH too so I had to hang up on him!!!! When I rang him back he asked if that was second lesson learnt - she rolled off the bed onto the wooden floor last week. Bad mummy No need, am going out for meal tonight and taking lo with us to meet 4 other friends so I can enjoy a glass or two there. Think DH should drive as he has a busy week at work ahead and will need a clear head.

vino def agree re dh driving and hope ellen ok (hattie still yet to roll although ellie never rolled till 6 or 7 months then dh let her roll off everything could that explain the lovely 'terrible 2's we've had!)

I was actually thinking the same thing RGee Or, at least, don't everyone chnage their names at the same time... Perhaps we could organise some sort of weekly schedule so only 1 person changes their name at a time. Maybe EaH could produce some sort of list...preferably on graph paper...with diagrams...

Oh FGS. I don't even know where to start with personals. Am going by memory instead:

Shimmer - use a mouli for things like raisins/dried apricot/peas/sweetcorn etc. I have found that potato goes sticky when I process it so I mouli it. Works fine and not too much effort.

Rusks - J has the sugar free and gluten free ones. Sometimes mixed with milk or water into a paste or he has just started holding it and sucking it. Very messy but think it is good for him to learn. He has also held and eaten half a banana.

LAL - PMSL at you in spinning class. Bet you were really popular.

Ear infection is all cleared up thank god. He didn't eat for 2 days so is catching up ATM, has eaten SO much today little greedy man.

Family do was fantastic. Had so much fun.

Who exactly is going to the meet up then? Ive got all confused.

Why don't we just put AKA (old name) i.e. I would be NoSexPleaseImBritishAKAwilkie for the time being until we get used to the name changes.

Still haven't decided if that is gonna be my name. I want something cool. There is someone on MN called TheDevilWearsPrimark - I WANT HER NAME!!!

Is the meet at the tube station or elsewhere? Has a time been sorted out yet? Ethan's still awake, has slept for 30 mins all day long and been up since 6am. Oh and he didn't sleep much last night, went up gone 9pm slept for an hour and a half and then was awake for an hour plus waking 4 times in the night as usual. Dh has gone to play football as usual tonight and I was hoping for an hour and a half of peace and quiet and alone time sigh How can he still be awake and not look tired??? Espcially after not sleeping all day long Please send some go to sleep Ethan vibes lol.
