if it makes you THAT angry, perhaps I'll change back

Mrscarrot · 18/06/2007 22:06

only joking, well a bit, who is it?

TheOtherMrsC · 18/06/2007 22:07

It's only me - hattie2

Wilkie · 18/06/2007 22:07

RGee!!

TheOtherMrsC · 18/06/2007 22:14

No, she's too busy watching old women's tv

Mrscarrot · 18/06/2007 22:15

ah, hello Hattie2

I forgive you, fellow slattern

MrsSlattern · 18/06/2007 23:04

Thanks MrsC - I'll try this one then!

eandh · 19/06/2007 08:14

Wilkie I am so dissapointed in you we took all of 10minutes on msn last night to get you a new name!!

Dragonhart if I lived closer I would come and help for free, when Eddas moved last July she phoned almost in tears about the state the house was left in I got my mum and dad to have Ellie for the day and spent 4 hours scrubbing her oven (was 13 weeks pg as well!) and even unscrewed all the extractor fan etc to clean under the plastic it looked like new afterwards. Cant beat Fairy power spray its great leave it on for 10-15 minutes and it does so much of the owrk for you then use scourers. I always have a quick check of it when I go round to make sure shes kept the cleanliness up

eandh · 19/06/2007 08:15

actually you'd all be very dissapointed inme at the mo as I am selling so much stuff the playroom does actually look quite cluttered and messy but have 5 things ending on ebay today and am hoping the changing station will be gone so that'll help

theUrbanDryad · 19/06/2007 08:32

eandh - fancy coming over to help me?? my house looks like a bomb's hit it!

i think i'll stick with my name for now, i quite like it when people shorten it to Urban, makes me feel quite street and down wit da yoof. i've got dentist today so please send some non-painful vibes my way!!

NotAsThunkAsDreoplePink · 19/06/2007 08:44

Damn, what have I started?!

IsItPimmsOClock · 19/06/2007 09:10

OK - this is my summer name, no more changes! (hattie2 by the way)

Wilkie · 19/06/2007 09:24

Morning all. EAH please come and help me do my house. It's tres dusty and the oven is minging.

J is currently shuffling along the floor on his face with his bum in the air. He looks so funny and is grunting with the effort.

I am going t'Asda today and to Debenhams to take back some stuff and then possibly gonna buy the high chair - do you reckon it will go in the summer sale or do high chairs generally stay full price? Just wondering if I should wait.

Feeding Q for you second time mums. J LOVES his breakfast (usually Banana Sunrise or Yoghurt & Berry powder mixed with milk) but am getting through packet of the stuff as he has 5 tablespoons of powder at a time . When can I start him on readybrek which is cheaper for a big packet????

Back later, the shuffling has stopped and screaming has commenced. He's prob got carpet burn on his nose

Lizzzombie · 19/06/2007 09:58

I am here!
I have a house...with a garden (well a yard)
We are all moved in just about, the house was filthy. So I cleaned it. Then last week we did a decorating blitz, so I have started cleaning it again. But...the internet is back on from today...so I will have to be strict with myself!
Hope everyone is well.
Am not going to read through all 268 messages to get uptodate.
Are most of you back to work now?
I start back on Saturday. Am in 2 minds. Its weird isnt it. Half of you cant wait to leave the house without the baby and get a day to yourself and the other half is thinking..DP is going to make a huge mess, or drop the baby or something!
No cake in this house anymore. Have to loose weight. Have discovered Hob Nob light biscuits though!!!!
love to you all xxx

Lizzzombie · 19/06/2007 10:00

BTW - I can thoroughly recommend OVEN PRIDE (dont buy it from Robert Dyas its £2 more expensive than Homebase or Tescos!) but it gets your minging oven sparkling clean! I dont think its very environmentally friendly though! x

IsItPimmsOClock · 19/06/2007 11:02

Hi Lizzz - welcome back!

One thing you've got to catch up on is the meet-up in London - 15th August, near Shimmer's place! Hope you can make it and bring some cake with you

Dragonhart · 19/06/2007 11:15

Welcome back Liz! Glad you are moved in now.

Thank EAH. Looking a bit better now and was feeling ok about it all til I wrote a list!

RGee · 19/06/2007 12:39

Gah...quick post.
PCF - they've all been talking again. This past couple of days, lo has decided she does not want daytime naps. "But that's my MN time" I whined back in a pleading voice. She was having none of it. "Me..me...me" she said (translated from the "ga..ga..agoo..hahaha" that I actually got.
Got my own back by taking her for a walk and she's now fast asleep. That'll show her who's boss. Mwah haha
Garden people arrived at 7.30 this morning, follwed soon after by a skip in our drive, and mini digger (would sooo love a go on it) and other big boys toys. Chance of staying asleep with digging going on practically nil.
Welcome back Lizz. I missed you last week - wanted to brag about the chocolate and orange cake I'd made.
Wilkie - which highchair have you gone for in the end? Was it the Mothercare one? When I worked there (over 10 years ago though) not everything went in the sale but they regularly had promotions (eg a fiver off).
Right, must dash. Want some lunch. And no more name changes - I can just about cope with those done already (BTW Hattie, I really fancy some Pimms now. I blame you)

katwith3kittens · 19/06/2007 13:34

Am I on the right thread ...... (dazed and confused with all the changes)

trixymalixy · 19/06/2007 14:57

Yeehah!! DS only woke once in the night last night. Much better than the 4 or so the night before.

He has become a right little bugger to put down for daytime naps and to feed during the day, he just doesn't want to miss anything

I am on my hols at the DIL's at the moment but heading off to germany for a VW car show tomorrow.

Our VW made it here (near Lancaster) from Glasgow so fingers crossed it'll make it to Germany. I brought DS down in our Volvo and he screamed the whole way down, was the longest journey of my life.

Don't really have time for any personals, and don't know who you all are with all the name changing anyway . See you in a couple of weeks

Mrscarrot · 19/06/2007 15:49

have fun, Trixy, pleased your nights have setled down, do you think it was a growth thing, such a relief when it moves on isn't it?
