Hi CD! Nothing useful to say really but nice to see you. O is here asleep on my lap and I'm going to head up to bed soon. Sorry to hear P is unsettled and your DH is out.

Thanks Bramshott.

He has/had white tongue (but very thick coating), spots around botton, me v sore nips and painful when feeding, him extremely fretful, pulls on/pulls off when feeding, gets angry with himself cos cannot feed and is hungry, does not sleep well..........er anything else not thats it i think.

Pinions · 14/05/2007 21:41

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 21:43

Poor you Pinions - that does sound like a lot of stuff to contend with. Do try the Breastfeeding Network site - there's quite a lot of info on symptoms and best treatments there.

Sorry, that feels rather ineffectual and not that useful, but my brain has packed up. Off to bed now, sorry. Back tomorrow.

Pinions · 14/05/2007 21:46

No no i don't mean on here...this is a gently cushioned beautiful far away place.

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 21:49

BF "diet"

Just found this thread on "diet"/dieting when bf, could be interesting to some?

oooggs · 14/05/2007 21:52

sokl - yes I am at the end of my tether, just fed them again and fell asleep on me, I hope now they are soundo in their cot - still got bottles and housework to do. I am knackered sorry to moan.

Sorry ellie no uniform here
he works 7.30am - 4pm one week then 3.00pm - 11.45pm the next so I am finding it hard to get a routine going

Pinions · 14/05/2007 21:52

God i am bloody obsessed with bf. Right off to take my mind off it COMPLETELY.

Night girls xxxxxx

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 21:54

night Pinions

and can I just say, I am most disappointed, what is the benefit to shift work if not the uniform

CaptainDippy · 14/05/2007 22:05

Night Pinions! xx

DON'T apologise Oooogs, honey - what are we here for, eh!!? I think you are a bloody fantastic woman, imho - You and KHIN!! Bloody marvels, both of you's!!

Hi Ellie!

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 22:08

alrite there Dippy?

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 14/05/2007 22:10

All right enough .... stressed out with oldest girls and a little with littlest one too; frazzled, over-whelmed, but ok ..... Just keep on trucking, you know what it is like!!

You?

oooggs · 14/05/2007 22:11

ellie - right at this moment I can't see any benefits to shift work either

Usually I would say quality time as a family during the day and extra money.

But at the mo I am tired and pissed off and I haven't gone to bed yet as I am 'doing bottles'

oooggs · 14/05/2007 22:11

hi dippy, hope you doing ok too

CaptainDippy · 14/05/2007 22:12

Know that feeling, Oooogs!!?

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 22:14

oh oooggs

i do sometimes feel that i benefit from being alone, i know i have to do it all myself but at least that's all i know IYSWIM, it seems worse when you have the help sometimes and not at other times

OP posts:
oooggs · 14/05/2007 22:16

yes I see where you are coming from ellie.

I feel like a single parent some weeks but without the benefits

ellenkpa · 14/05/2007 22:18

benefits?

you mean the lack of anyone to disagree with me and the opportunity to find a new nice young man every week? I wish

CaptainDippy · 14/05/2007 22:18
