Like a lovely, plump, fertilised one

Lizzz, remind me, is he bf? If so, runny and anything from daffodil yellow to green is normal

JodieG1 · 06/04/2007 14:50

Agree with 2happy, sounds normal if he's bf.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 06/04/2007 15:01

done it, 2happy, they were too large. Now you can all see Felix, go on, tell me he's cute too!

2HappyEaster · 06/04/2007 15:03

(carrot, you'll need to change your proile to attach it to your Easter name...or I could stop being lazy and look for an old post of yours and look at it that way )

Carot - I can't see your profile, says your privacy settings don't allow to see or user hasn't created a page.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 06/04/2007 15:10

oh, does that work now?

2HappyEaster · 06/04/2007 15:14

It does Felix really is gorgeous, an absolute stunner

(and I love Belle and Sebastian too!)

OP posts:
JodieG1 · 06/04/2007 15:17

Gorgeous pics

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 15:25

Oh Carrot he is a cutie and you are something of a yummy mummy - why don't I look like that in bed???????

Have got the Baby Einstein DVD (first one) and Jacob is absolutely fixated with it. I don't condone sticking kids in front of TV normally but this is just bright colours to classical music and he loves it!! Gives me 20 mins to run around and do a few bits (or MN like I am at the moment)! Would thoroughly recommend it.

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 15:26

Hattie - > I haven't got your MSN. Can you tell me it again purhlease......

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 06/04/2007 15:39

aw, thanks everyone just putting Boy with the arab strap on now, 2happy!

Wilkie- dd had baby shakespeare, she still likes it

2HappyEaster · 06/04/2007 15:56

oh i could do with listening to something soothing, cc....so far today, ds1's had a tantrum over me not letting him play with a spanner (after having one last night about a screwdriver..can't he just play with toys?!), eaten a wax crayon, scribbled on the table; then dh popped home atlunchtime long enough to get ds1 stirred up so he wouldn't go for his nap, and announce that he'd been on the phone to a friend who wants us to go on holiday this summer.

The suggested accommodation??

A fecking wigwam!!!!!!!

I have nothing against camping, and wigwms sound great. But not 2 adults, a toddler and a baby! FFS!

OP posts:
laughalot · 06/04/2007 17:10

Hee Hee im afarid in laughalots occupation I dont sell wigwams

RGeeSusIsCrucified · 06/04/2007 18:15

Hi all. Just wrote a ridiculously long post, but then accidently deleted it. Such a spanner. I'll try to recreate it all again.

UD - hurrah! we also had the first all-nighter (sleep rather than the before baby 'all nighters'). DH and I woke up at 6.45am, looked at each other in disbelief before DH put turned the monirot up load so we could both hear her snoring. Bliss! DH then let me have a lovely lie in until 10am. But it was ruined by a dream that we all flew for a weekend together to Centre Parcs (with kids in tow, but strangely there were no kids in my dream)but I must be feeling subconsciouly insecure as you all left me in the swimming pool. Sob....

LTH - glad the skin is improving. No runny poos here after the jabs, either from the LO or from scared mum

Wilkie - car sounds most exciting. Hope J's cold is better come Friday so you can wind the windows down, turn the volume up, and go for a drive into the sunset.

Carrot - LO is lush! Love the full head of hair!

Lizz - when I was bf, poo was exactly like it had come out of a wholegrain mustard pot. Never be able to eat the stuff! Now formula fed, it's a yellowish green.

Just reading all the explosive poo comments over the weeks, those of you with a ds and dd, is it easier to wipe up after boys (careful around dangly bits) or girls (careful around lady folds). Just curious.

2Happy - just how annoying is your laugh? Is it a nasal snort; a belly loud ho ho ho; a dirty fnar fnar; or a girly heeheehee?
And sorry but I pmsl at your last post!

Trixy - hope yesterday went ok.

PCF - think I've added you to MSN.
Actually Wilkie, now I know why I'm feeling insecure in dreams if you are 'accidently' blocked me

Better go now. I think someone round here need the milkman to visit...

RGeeSusIsCrucified · 06/04/2007 18:16

"before DH put turned the monirot up load so we"
Good English. Work that one out! Moustache....

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 06/04/2007 19:39

evening all!!

well we've had a lovely day. went to Stoke Bruerne today, with my best friend and her godson, which is a village where the Grand Union Canal runs through, and is also where we got married (sort of). we walked along the canal and then had a pint (shandy for me!). was really really lovely. i'm just putting Zac to bed now - he's kicking away quite happily in the crib, showing no signs whatsoever of going to sleep! what a treat!

venues in the Midlands for meet-up...how many of us are there? you know, the die-hard posters? i reckon, we should do a list of people who would be up for it.

here's me:
UrbanDryad

as for a place....we could always book out the top floor of a Pizza Express or something? i am the queen of organising (no, mum, really) so if we did it in Northampton i could sort out train travel/directions/places to stay (some of the guesthouses in Northampton are bloody terrifying apparently!) .....anyway, just a thought. i'd love to meet you.....i'm such a crazy stalker!

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 06/04/2007 19:58

my best friend and my godson, sorry. actually, he's not technically my godson, since he's not christened, but i'm his (and his sister's) legal guardian should anything happen to bf, so i always say godson!

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 19:59

UD - defo up for it.

here's me:

Will post more soon, typing one handed and ds1 ill so been clearing up sick

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 21:42

MSN has killed the thread

ellieandhattieandchocolate · 06/04/2007 21:50

well me and wilkie have killed the thread as we used to talk such crap on here now we talk crap on msn!

JodieG1 · 06/04/2007 21:53

Still can't see you on my msn wilkie.

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 07/04/2007 08:13

MSN has killed our thread like video killed the radio star....

Zac slept through again! he was a bit of a nightmare to get to sleep, and he didn't go donw till half 8, but then he slept through till 7!! my boobs were like rocks this morning!

the one thing about meeting up in Northampton is it's not very easy to get to, cause the trains are really stupid. London would be easier, but more expensive. oooh it's difficult isn't it? why don't we all just meet up in a field somewhere??!

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 07/04/2007 08:46

Ugh feel like crap this morning - sore throat, cough, achey glands and runny nose - poor Jacob is exactly the same. Was up with him at 1am cos he couldn't breathe and stared really crying. Went in and he had snot smeared all over his cheeks. When he cries he sounds really hoarse.

Have dosed him up with Calpol and sprinkled Karvol on a rag by his cot.

Anyone got much planned for the BH? We're off to the ILs tomorrow and my parents on Monday.

Not much to report - EAH has Hattie pooed yet???????

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 07/04/2007 08:48

I am at your little Zac sleeping through, UD, VERY rare for bf baby to sleep through at this stage I think. Mind you, Felix does wake a couple of times but I never feel that tired, I don't wake up properly.

Well, we're off to Yorkshire in a minute, bad timimg with wedding plans but it might be nice to take a break from it, my mind is stuffed with lists, doubt we'll have internet access there so see you all in a week's time!

I doubt I'll miss too much on the thread, now you're all msm addicts, will have to join when I get back.

Bye, Happy Easter
