Bleaurgh - sorry UD, just puked!!

Jacob has a cold (same as me) but won't take his bottle this morning at all. He slept OK and had a goof night feed at 3am but won't take any bottle this morning. Should I be worried? He is quite happy (snotty but happy).

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 06/04/2007 08:16

can he breathe ok? when Z had his cold he struggled to feed because he couldn't breathe through his nose. if you're worried about his snuffliness (i made a new word!) get some Nasosal from Boots and put a drop up his nose before a feed.

as Jodie said before though, if he's happy enough and getting plenty of wet and dirty nappies then i wouldn't fret pet!

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 08:49

Yes he can breathe in a Darth Vadar fashion Just took 4oz which wasn't great after 5.5 hours but at least it is some fluid.

Snuffliness - I like it

LadyTophamHatt · 06/04/2007 09:14

morning all, nothing much to report here but this Calendula cream is magic.

if you'd seen georges face on tuesday it was gross (sorry george...but it was). Red, excessively flaky and in places a tiny bit weepy. Really really horiid.

Today, his skin is a beautiful shade of peachy babiness. It's still a teeny tiny bit dry but it looks 99.9999999% better

(it looks like cradle cap TBH.....can they get it on their faces???).

Wilkie, george goes about 5.5 hours between bottles almsot all the time. The big Ds's were clockwork every 4hours so I assumed george would be too. Nope......wrong !!

I stopped trying to get him to drink his bottle every 4 hours and just waited until he started moaning for it. It's usually around 5hours, sometimes longer but then he drink it all, all in one go.
Very occaisonally he'll leave an oz but 99% of the time it's an empty bottle at the end.

He has 5 x 6oz bottles in 24 hours.

Oh I did need to ask something else actually....did the jabs cause anyone elses Lo's to get runny poos? He had them on tuedays and yesterday and this morning has been farting and following through...nice!!

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 06/04/2007 09:22

That's fab news, LTH, I would have felt terrible if it had made it worse like the other
creams, hope it's gone for good now. No advice about the follow through though

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 06/04/2007 10:36

amazing that 'fancy' stuff sometimes works better than prescriptions, eh..

LadyTophamHatt · 06/04/2007 10:39

I know Carrot, I felt like a right loon in the shop because I HAD FORGOTTON WHAT YOU SUGGESTED SO WAS WAFFLING ON ABOUT [opps sorry) a cream someone suggested that begins with C...

Mind you the woman didn't know either, I found it by hunting through the whole shop.

LTH - what's a pgrin]??? Glad the skin is clearing up though. Can't comment on runny poo - Jacob is a once every 2 days kind of guy and jabs didn't make any difference.

PCF - my DH is on holiday for 8 days so is off all weekend but that is a rareity, normally he would be working

Bought our car - Silver Astra, 02 plate, 29k miles, immaculate condition - looks like new. Soooooooooo excited, we pick it up on Friday.

Well, must dash as LO has just sneezed two huge greenies out in his sleep. Ahhhh being a mum is sooooo glam

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 06/04/2007 11:02

UD - MSN advice SVP

I had 3 pending requests from Jodie, Helen and Rachel but when I click accept it takes me into some strange window that asks for my home address???? So I went bck an declined everything, does this mean I have blocked these peopl (if so I apologise profusely, nothing personal just an MSN virgin).

BTW - which one of you is Helen?? I know Jodie and Rachel.

LTH, my health shop think I'm a right weirdo, I'm always in there babbling about something, I went in three times about the worms. I think they remember me

I've just done a profile, finally, and I think I sound like a complete w**ker Oh well!

And, grrr, it won't let me put on all my lovely photos of felix . It just keep saying error? I've been trying for 20 mins, maybe something to with the jpeg being too large, don't know how to shrink them though

2HappyEaster · 06/04/2007 11:49

carrot, if you open the pic with (if you have pc) my computer iykwim, then there should be a button underthe pic if you open it to email it, then it will ask if you want to shrink itm click yes and email it to self and put that one on your profile - does that make sens?e

Lizzzombie · 06/04/2007 14:41

Hi all, I need to ask about poo I am afraid.
What kind of poo is good and what is bad?
DJ does very runny poo, bright yellow, like picallilli or mustard. Nice. Should his stools be firmer?

Sorry to lower the tone etc..!
I am [email protected] if anyone wants to be my friend....
LTH & PCF - I think thats a good idea, we should def meet up somewhere.

2HappyEaster · 06/04/2007 14:47

Hmm, I've been looking at our geometric data. I think laughalot's right (surprisingly enough given your occupation!) that the midlands is kind of the centre of where we live, if you take into account the total number of southerners

I've had a shuftie at attractions round there, but it might be better for those living there to suggest possiblities! It would need to be near train stations for us travelling further.

Alternatively, instead of meeting in the middle, there's always the possibility of meeting somewhere totally different.

Or we do separate North/South meets - like one in Yorkshire for the Northerners, one in London or similar for the Southerners.

Or we could relax in the private anonymity of MN where I can let you all believe I don't have double chins/an annoying laugh/bad wind...
