Like a lovely, plump, fertilised one

Oh and Carrot, my bouquet was dusky pink and white roses with a red rose in the middle for my Grandad, he died a few years ago and red roses were his fave. Loved my flowers

I think Lilies are beautiful too though and the florist will cut the pollen buds off so it doesn't get on your dress xxxxx

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 05/04/2007 09:30

They all sound lovely! I'm going to a florist in a minute to see what's in season, whether they can do it at short notice etc, am definitely thinking of white roses in there somewhere.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 05/04/2007 09:32

and your wedding photos are gorgeous, Trixy, and the cool splitscreen, what a fab wedding car! Love LO's hair too

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 05/04/2007 09:36

Just had a though - obviously Carrott will be inviting us all to the wedding so we will just meet up at that

JodieG1 · 05/04/2007 09:41

Morning all. Glad you had a good night Wilkie, we had a good night here too Dh is home today so doubt I'll be on much, I'll probably come back later on to 100 messages to read lol.

Hope you all enjoy the sunshine.

CarrotAteAllTheEggs · 05/04/2007 10:07

Oh don't, Wilkie, it's a bloody nightmare, this inviting business, exactly what we wanted to avoid, sitting here with lists thinking if we invite HIM we have to invite HER, and SHE mustn't sit next to
WHATSHISNAME, and so on. Meant to be only 20 at the wedding and meal, it's past 25 now but at whatever a head we have to stop now. Even the party at ours has to stop at 50 in our house, REALLY hope it doesn't rain, and the hog roast feeds 80-120 so they say, so we'll all have double portions. Must remember to borrow patio heater, or environment heaters as they're called, bugger that, I'm not standing in my dress freezing in the gardern.
God, I've done a lot of capitals, can you tell I'm getting a bit STRESSED actually wish we weren't going to Yorkshire this weekend now.

LTH - East Sussex
Shimmer - LonDon
Trixymalixy - Glasgow
2Happy - Northumberland
Laughalot - Nottinghamshire
Pinkcandyfloss - Worthing, West Sussex
katwith3kittens - newcastle upon tyne
JodieG- Cambridge
EllieandHatti - Maidstone, Kent
Carrotcake - Norwich

Rgee- Lovely to meet you and Pippa on Tues

Carrot - I had a 'just white' bouquet for my wedding with cala lilies and white roses, it had leaves and rosemary round the edge. The rosemary was unexpected to say the least but was nice.

Wilkie- the new car sounds cool, J will be transported in style.

EAH - your nappy/shoe/car incident sounds a real AAAAAGGGGHHHH moment.

Bought some hot x buns today but not got any easter eggs yet. Better go shopping tomorrow.

I can't even manage to log into mumsnt to read other profiles at the mo let alone add photos. Dh tried to help me add photo the other night but after 30 mins of logging in and out with nothing happening we gave up.

Think I;m gonna have to join msn if everyone else is. Don;t want to be left out!!!

laughalot · 05/04/2007 19:32

Hee Hee guess what I gave my dd a spoonfull of babyrice before bed and she loved it

ellieandhattieandchocolate · 05/04/2007 19:40

laughalot mmmnn naught naughty

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 05/04/2007 20:17

heya all

well i think everyone now has MSN - MWAHAHAHAHAH my evil plan has worked. this thread is going to slow right down now isn't it??!

Zac's tooth is really starting to stress him out. i've started using a teething powder which is fab (Ashton and Parson's, if anyone's interested) and he's still sleeping ok in the night, but the daytime's are a bit of a nightmare!! can't get him to take a teether (any advice most welcome!!)

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 05/04/2007 20:19

laughalot......

LadyTophamHatt · 05/04/2007 20:24

the teething powders are good aren'tthey UD, we've used them lots before.

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 05/04/2007 20:25

LTH!! there you are!
(teething powders rock, much better than Bonjela)

JodieG1 · 05/04/2007 20:27

UD - me bites tongue too. Do you reccomend that teething powder then? Been wondering if Ethan is teething as he likes to chew and thought I saw something the other day so want to be prepared. How does the powder work then?

Just getting Ethan off to sleep now, or rather dh is. He's asleep with him holding him but we've tried a couple of times to put him down and he's woken up right away lol, think he just loves his daddy's warm arms Fingers crossed that the next time we try it'll work.

ellieandhattieandchocolate · 05/04/2007 20:29

think laughalot may have been pulling a few legs

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 05/04/2007 20:37

Hee hee - Laughalot you're naughty!!!!

Jodie/UD - she gotcha

JodieG1 · 05/04/2007 20:38

Lol, well, thank god for that!

theUrbanDryadLovesCremeEggs · 05/04/2007 20:40

i knew she was playing....hence "rise to the bait"!!

Jodie - the teething powder just gets rubbed on their gums. i tell ya - there's nothing quite like rubbing white powder on the gums of an infant!

ellieandhattieandchocolate · 05/04/2007 20:43

UD [GRIN]

JodieG1 · 05/04/2007 20:43

Lol UD, think I'll try that then, the gels never stay on their gums.

WilkieBarEasterEgg · 05/04/2007 20:44

UD - , as long as Zac isn't snorting it ;)

Totally off topic but my mum popped round today for an hour and bought me some of her epic gingerbread men that she made. Just opened the tin and they are boy and girl gingerbread men with penises and breasts made out of smarties and icing. FFS!!!!!!!!!!!! She makes me howl.

2HappyEaster · 05/04/2007 20:48

FFS - how do you lot keep an eye on MSN and MN at the same time?!!
