Sounds like a lot of us are having trouble with teething. Hope things improve for everyone soon! We give DS teething granules twice a day, give him a cool teething ring to chew, and apply teething gel when he seems to need it, but when that doesn't calm him down I do resort to ibuprofen. I don't want to give him too much but don't want him to be in pain either, it's sometimes a tough call. He was grumpy this afternoon and evening, and wasn't feeding properly, so I gave him some ibuprofen at bedtime.
Does anyone have tips for containing the mess of weaning?! I need a big non-stick placemat (our high chair doesn't have a tray so it's pushed up to the dining table) and preferably something to put on the floor as well... DS is definitely more interested in playing with the food (whether it's finger food or purée on a spoon) at the moment!

Sorry your DD's suffering with the reflux
Sounds like asking the GP to increase her dose could be a good idea - good luck.

I had to look up Cherbourg
Good that you can throw everything in the car and you won't have much driving to do in France!

Sorry you're feeling so ill
Hope your DS sleeps well so you can too! Get better soon
I have been dressing DS in t-shirts (long sleeves now the weather's colder) and jogging bottoms. Vest underneath. And hoody over the top if we go out. A couple of people gave us jeans as presents, and I think he's just about big enough for them or, but they look uncomfortable and difficult to take on and off. So I will probably just use them if and when we see the person who gave them to us

No I haven't noticed much difference with feeding now his teeth have cut through, they're only poking out a tiny bit and they're on the bottom so I guess his tongue covers them... no biting or chewing my boob yet, touch wood!
DS is the same with rolling btw, he can roll back to front but not the other way. I think when he's on his back he swings his legs for momentum. But he hasn't worked out how to push up and over when he's on his tummy - he really hates tummy time, and when he cries I usually take pity on him and help him to roll over, which has probably hindered him doing it himself
