I understand you @1004Rise I've had problems accessing advice for feeding older babies and toddlers in the past, the only place sometimes is groups with other experienced mums.

How are everyone's nights going? We've had a rough few weeks but last night he slept 8-2.30 and then on until 6.30 which I'm very relieved about. 2-4 naps a day that vary from 45 minutes to 3 hours! Shock My older dc go back to school tomorrow so more napping opportunities during the day for me though I probably won't and end up doing loads of jobs Wink

I can't complain about my nights as she only wakes for a quick wolf down of milk but we're having several feeds at the moment (maybe 3-4 between midnight / 6am?), I suspect leap/spurt. We had had at least once "slept through" 12-6 so a change, but then change is normal.

Why I can't seem to get to sleep before midnight is another question entirely 😁

CoxsOrangePippin · 15/08/2017 11:04

Yes, when Pippin was new I slept like a log if I was asleep. Now I'm back to my usual pattern unfortunately!

1004Rise · 15/08/2017 13:10

@teainbed can't believe that's the schools back already, we can look forward to an improvement in the weather then 😁

Our nights are ok.... she's going down about 10/11 ish and waking up twice between then and 6/7 ish.... we're only up for about 10 minutes for a feed each time so I don't think either of us really wake up properly. She tends to start each night in her cot and then usually for the last feed I end up falling asleep again before I get her back in. Then I wake up with a sore wrist and sore hip because I haven't moved in 2/3 hours 😖

Yes first day today including eldest DS starting high school. BabyTea wasn't sure what to make of the peace and quiet!

Oh dear I've killed the thread! Grin

I sense it's coming to a natural end but thank you for your company over the last year. SmileFlowers

I think you might be right @teainbed!

May have to re-read the old ones for all the good advice CakeWine

Rabbitykins55 · 17/08/2017 14:55

Oh I hope not! I love these threads!

CoxsOrangePippin · 17/08/2017 15:19

So do I! I think they will probably move slower and slower though, and I reckon that's fine Smile

EsmesBees · 17/08/2017 15:21

I love them too. If this is the end it's been nice getting to 'know' you all.

Today's juggle has been settling dd1 into her new nursery while popping home to feed baby bees. Feel like neither is getting the time or attention they deserve Sad

BouncingBlueberry · 17/08/2017 15:22

I want some daddy!

Hey, thought i would add a post whilst its so quiet! I have been reading but im rubbish at posting! Hope you are all well! Isabelle is 10 weeks now, we have just moved house and are getting settled in! What a nightmare trying to pack and move! My poor DH ended up doing everything on his own :( we have been in a week now and isabelle treated us by sleeping through last night! From 9pm-6am! Had a quick feed then back to sleep until 8! Not that i benefited much, i was up all night my the worst toothache!

Do many of you have older children? I have a 7 and 10 year old and struggle to get much done with them 😣 saying that when i try and do anything they are.usually very grumpy and dont want to do anything! Roll on september and back to school routine!

I think most of us are now on the FB page and, tbh, FB is a lot better on a mobile which is probably all we can manage at the moment Grin

ClaireSunflower · 17/08/2017 17:13

Agreed @savagehk fb is much easier 1 handed! I do read this thread but have not posted much recently

Badgerbird · 18/08/2017 02:49

Looks like I'm gonna have to succumb to the Facebook group then as I still enjoy catching up during night feeds :)

Loving the photos Smile

Rabbitykins55 · 18/08/2017 03:48

Is the Fb group totally secret? I like the anonymity of this but if everyone else on is on that group maybe I should join.

MrsJW15 · 18/08/2017 04:53

@Rabbitykins55 on Fb, no one outside the group can see your posts so it's fine pretty private IYSWIM. Obviously you have to post under your real name though.

It's pretty busy over there!

vanilla8 · 18/08/2017 07:53

Been painting lots in the last week trying to get it done whilst baby is napping well!

Did the London meet up happen?

Who can add me on Facebook? Finally signed in to mumsnet on PC so can PM someone my real name!

PeachIcedT · 18/08/2017 08:04

@vanilla8 I can add you if you PM me your email address

CoxsOrangePippin · 18/08/2017 09:20

I had better succumb to fb too Grin

Walkerbean16 · 18/08/2017 09:29

Noo im not on fb 😣 hoping some of you will stay on here!

1004Rise · 18/08/2017 09:50

I'm on the fb group but I feel like I don't "know" anyone because it's all real names and I only "know" you by MN user names Confused

Badgerbird · 18/08/2017 10:28

I've done it!! PMd peach re Facebook....
See some of you on the other side!!

PeachIcedT · 18/08/2017 10:44

I've added everyone who has PMd me an email address so far so check your email and let me know if nothing is there!

Gurtie28 · 18/08/2017 12:37

Ladies - anyone giving babies boiled/cooled water??
The MW's and HV's told me not too, but so many friends and family members have been shocked when I've told them.... they all think I'm crazy not to be giving baba water. Thoughts please???
