So much crawling! BabyTea just sits like a Buddha and gets things brought to him. No incentive at all to crawl! He does roll repeatedly to get places and I'm sure he'll do a bum shuffle soon.

Congratulations @Walkerbean16 that's lovely news! Fingers crossed for your little bean.

wow @gizzymum! congratulations that is amazing!

hi @mighty sounds like you have had a really tough time, so glad things are looking a bit better for you.

I'm still off work, going back in April after the Easter holidays so I will have had just under a year off. Isabelle is 8.5 months now (she was born 3rd of June so not technically a May baby but you lot were so lovely I hung around here!) she has four teeth, crawls around everywhere and yesterday she started pulling herself up on the furniture! I miss the days where she just stayed in one place Grin.

I didn't realise this tread was still going until someone mentioned it on the fb Group (I was Barnes79 -name changed).

DS is doing well. We had a tough time to start with as he dropped off the bottom weight centile but after switching to ff he's now firmly on the 50th. He's 9mths on Tues. he's a very stationary baby - not a huge fan of rolling unless it's to get a toy or by accident, doesn't crawl or walk but loves standing up (with my help) and wants to be able to move but just gets frustrated that he can't.

He's going to be a big brother in August (🤞🏻) and will then have a little brother to play with.

Thought I’d swing by and say hi! 👋🏻

Little Raspberry is now 8 and a half months old, crawling, pulling herself up and spends much of the day cruising around furniture!

She’s got 3 teeth and is just as scrummy as the day she was born!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Nice to hear you are getting on ok mighty & tea. Baby L is a big old chunk (about 10kg now I reckon) who has started crawling, only 2 teeth though. Sleep ok at the moment but that means 'only' 2-4 wake ups in this house Grin She's a happy soul most of the time other than when DS is being a bit rough with her.

Hello everyone! Thought I would pop in and give an update.
Baby Moo is nearly 9 months. Big boy with 8 teeth and now standing unaided, I think walking is not far off!
Can't believe he will be a year old in 3 months time!
I think about you often @mightymouse76 as I know you are local to me,wondering if we have ever bumped into one another IRL with the babes.

@mightymouse76 that sounds really though! There is no way I would have been able to do that in my sleep deprived state, you're amazing!

Haha sleep... what's that?! Saying that; the crazybaby is asleep but I have been awake since 3am. He is still feeding every couple of hours overnight and likes to be hugged like a teddy.. All night. He has 3 teeth with another 4 cutting, so he feels pretty miserable I think.

I was due to go back to work in January but have postponed to June (at least).

That sounds so tough @Mightymouse76 I'm glad things have settled down a bit. I'm working one or two half days a week just now on a freelance basis so just easing myself back in.

Wow so many teeth! We've only got 1! BabyTea is an absolute tank at 11kg and adores his food so he's clearly not struggling to get the calories in. Grin He can sleep through but I still feed him if he wakes.

Lovely to hear from you all. Smile

@Mightymouse76 we were worried about you so it's good to know you're doing better!

Sleep is for the weak in this house, but Baby Rise has never been a sleeper so I think it makes it easier. I haven't had a full night's sleep since I was about 4 months pregnant so I can't remember what it feels like if we get a 3 hour run I consider it a win! I went back to work in December so we're now contending with nursery germs 🤧😷🤮 as well as teeth and leaps!

@teainbed 10 months! I can't believe how time has flown!

Ahh @Mightymouse76 I'm glad things have turned around a bit for you! We had similar sleep issues from 4 months until I finallly cracked and did a bit of (semi) sleep training which saved my sanity!

My little beast is 9 1/2 months old, crawling, almost pulling himself up and has 5 teeth (a 6th is imminent I feel)! It's mad how quickly they change.

I'm back at work, although part time currently so I feel very lucky! Quite enjoy being an adult again 2 days a week, although the extra day working from home is almost impossible to get done! Also revising for a big exam so a little crazy busy but it should settle down after may!

Baby savage has 5 teeth and is cutting get 6th. Luckily we don't suffer too badly when teething. It's been hectic here with work (although I'm still officially on mat leave) and renovations and baby, and doesn't look like calming down anytime soon 😵

Half term next week so have eldest to entertain as well.

Hey @teainbed @1004Rise @Givealittlebit @Walkerbean16 @savagehk and @crazyzooo !!
I'm so glad some of you are still hooked up to this thread - it's lovely to hear from you!
I'm doing much better thank you. I have a strapping 9 month old, 9.5 kilo son! It's been an up and down ride since I last posted regularly. As was probably pretty obvious at the time, I had pretty horrendous pnd and anxiety, hugely driven by lack of sleep, lack of support at home and pressure to work. I started working regularly again in September (albeit from home to breastfeed) and we hired a nanny to facilitate this. On paper it all seemed like a good idea but the reality was pretty harsh, particularly as we got hit with the big sleep regression around then, that lasted a good 3 months until we night weaned at xmas to save my sanity all over again (think 2 hourly wake ups for nights on end). I'd sit hunched over my laptop in the day, a sweaty sleep deprived mess, trying to remember what i'd agreed to do for clients! I shudder when I look back...

How are you all doing? Have any of you gone back to work yet, and how are you finding it? I'm writing this in a hotel room on my second ever night away without him since he was born (work trip). I felt awful earlier, guilty and sad, but after a bath and a pumping session, and a large wine, I've cheered up a bit Grin.

@crazyzoo how is the sleep going? We don't feed overnight anymore but teething has swiftly replaced our brief but blissful slumbers with something more painful than a quick breastfeed! I have slept on the floor next to his cot a couple of times in the last week to soothe him after some middle of the night paracetomol. He's only cut one tooth so far, so I can only imagine a load are coming at once...

@1004Rise oh the nappies! Quite apart from my fascination at what's in them, I've had to go to pull ups now as my son likes to roll onto his front and drag himself off the changing mat the second I put him down. He can't quite crawl yet but it's...challenging!

Can't wait to hear all yours and your baby's news - weaning, sleeping, working, babbling, crawling, standing, swimming, laughing... it's utterly mad and magical, isn't it?

Hi @Mightymouse76 ! Lovely to hear from you. Hope all is ok? What did you have in the end?

BabyTea is 10 months old today! He's absolutely enormous! Funny I reread some of the old threads a few weeks ago when there was a baby every day or two, brought it all back! I'm not on the Facebook group either. Nice to get a wave every so often though. Smile

Hi @Mightymouse76

Good to hear from you! Glad you and baby mighty are doing well. We're ok, apart from the lack of sleep, the only constant being change and what seems to be a constant nappy obsession!

We do miss you, it's a shame you're not on Facebook the group has continued in the same way (it's the only reason I go on Facebook!) Smile
