Hi all! DDs sleep still terrible over here! Naps are easy. Can get her down into cot awake after singing and rocking but night time is a different story! Screaming blue murder at me and will not fall asleep! Currently exhausted!

Good luck back at work clumsy

LibertyBelles · 10/06/2016 20:46

Argh not clumsy northern sorry!

clarabellski · 10/06/2016 21:25

Oh dear liberty, I hope things improve soon x

clumsypots · 10/06/2016 22:02

No liberty don't send me back to work yet! Although got 3 gigs in the next 3 days and have just gone flying over ds's playmat so can hardly walk Sad marching on Monday will be fun! I hope the sleep settles soon for you though Flowers

northern hope work goes ok for you

cudbywestrangers · 10/06/2016 23:15

Hope you have enjoyed the last days of your mat leave northern and work is OK on Monday.

Afraid I have got behind and can't remember what anyone else is up to but just reading back and I can't believe how much the weather has changed in the Aston few days. I got totally caught out by torrential rain this afternoon and poor babycud got soaked as I popped into asda with him just in the car seat Blush

We've had a hectic week and I'm shattered. Mostly been nice things (lots of tea and cake!) So can't complain, but I played tennis 2 evenings and I think that has just thrown me out of kilter as not used to going out after kids in bed!

Ds1 has decided that he doesn't like going to bed so bedtimes have just become a total mare. Sometimes he goes down OK but then gets up and wanders around- he emptied the cupboard in babycud's room yesterday Shock it wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't on my own but if I don't get ds1 down then I end up with a screaming baby to deal with. Any tips appreciated!

Babycud has been on pretty good for me thank goodness. I started washing the 6-9 month clothes today as his toes are getting squashed in his sleepsuits! I think he is getting frustrated though and wants to be sitting or standing all the time. Hope he sorts out doing it on his own soon...

Have a good weekend all! And any good vibes appreciated, dh is going to the in laws tomorrow overnight as it's their ruby wedding do so I'll be flying solo most of the weekend. Couldn't work out how we could both go with the kids as we don't know anyone to babysit in their area so I'm staying put.

cudbywestrangers · 10/06/2016 23:16

Sorry for typos. Tired and on phone!
mawsy and maisie hope you're both OK if still reading!

NorthernChinchilla · 13/06/2016 09:15

Well, here I am on the bus to work...where the hell did that go?! Shock

cudbywestrangers · 13/06/2016 16:25

Hope it's been OK northern

clumsypots · 13/06/2016 20:15

northern hope it went well for you today.

LibertyBelles · 13/06/2016 20:39

Hope work was ok northern

haquoi123 · 14/06/2016 00:06

How did it go Northern?

No tips cud, sorry! Just massive appreciation for you and others with more than one.

Ds is on 9-12 clothes now Confused, we skipped 6-9 as they just won't last and 9-12 aren't much bigger! But for a swim nappy he's in the largest size, meant for three year olds. Not sure what we'll do when he grows...

Awww clara, so cute!

liberty is the routine starting to settle in though?

I'm struggling a little, bubs had gone from feeding constantly to hardly anything at all in the last week (we've been ill) and I'm worried my milk is drying up. I'm going to the hv and breastfeeding group tomorrow but feeling pretty desperate.

HandbagFan · 14/06/2016 12:33

Haquoi it's normal for supply to go down during an illness, and it should bounce back, but suggest fenugreek, mother's milk tea and oats as natural ways of upping supply. Some pumping after feeds will also help, as will getting plenty of rest and drinking lots of water. I've got a bit obsessed with supply - still not pumping enough to remove formula for DS but my supply has increased steadily.

We're only just into 3-6m clothes, can't believe how big some of the babies are getting! DS has put on a lot of weight in the past couple of weeks, and it now just shy of 15lbs, up 2lbs in a couple of weeks. He's on the 45th %ile up from the 21st-ish.

HandbagFan · 16/06/2016 10:24

Have I killed the thread?

Immunisations again today. It's meant to rain 11-1 here, so looking forward to going out at 11.45! Will have a mooch round town once we're done.

Baby still isn't rolling over but is definitely close - he turns on his side, especially when I'm next to him. He also scoots all over the place by pushing on his feet - I'll put him on his playmat and he'll be in a different position entirely five minutes later!

clumsypots · 16/06/2016 14:53

Hi handbag I'm still here hope the injections went ok today.

I had my meeting with work yesterday, they still would prefer me to go part time, 'it's difficult being a full time working mom' no shit what do you think I have been doing for the past 10 years!! but I've told them we can review it again when I have actually gone back and see how I cope.

How is everyone else doing? Hope work has been ok northern and you're not too knackered. haq are you feeling better now?

cudbywestrangers · 16/06/2016 19:18

Still here! Hope jabs weren't too bad...and you didn't get too wet! I have to say I'm getting a bit fed up of all this rain bit otherwise not much to report. Enjoyed the football this afternoon, all the summer sport is definitely a perk of mat leave!

clarabellski · 16/06/2016 21:04

We are away on holiday on saturday - car is packed to brim! One tiny bag for me. The rest is baby and dh!

haquoi123 · 16/06/2016 21:52

Thanks handbag. I don't know what happened really, I went into full on meltdown on Monday. Boobs have settled and I'm feeling so much better. I'm giving donating a little rest for now so that I know how much ds really needs. How is the expressing going? And how were jabs? Weight wise, ds is completely out of the ordinary - we weighed him in Tuesday and he's 21lb 4oz Shock at 18 weeks.

clumsy they want to reduce your hours and are using the fact you're a mum to justify it?? Isn't that illegal?

London and back today with ds on the train for a job interview! And I had 2 hours sleep last night. I killed it at the interview though, really good. Home and exhausted now though.

haquoi123 · 16/06/2016 21:53

Lovely clara, anywhere nice? Haha, yes, baby and entourage
