Morning all! A shiny new thread for Easter.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, I'm off to eat copious amounts of chocolate whilst hiding in the floor of the nursery with Ewan the sheep Easter Grin

My DS is 2 on Sunday and it feels so surreal. His younger sister will be 2 weeks old then too so we're having a small family gathering with neices, nephew and my siblings sometime during the week.
No thoughts about presents yet though.

What about you, Fate?

Luckystar1 · 05/10/2016 07:13

DS is 2 in 2 weeks! I can't believe it! DD is 2 months, so his 2nd year has mainly been taken up by pregnancy and newborn!

We were getting him a toy kitchen for his birthday (which we've already bought!) but I'm now thinking of a trampoline, he has so much energy and I have so little!!!

Does anyone have one??

FATEdestiny · 05/10/2016 08:02

Aw happy birthday to those with birthdays coming up. My DD had a balance bike for her birthday from us and one of those two-at-the-front-one-at-the-back three wheeled scooters from my mum.

And congratulations on the birth of your little one MrsCee!

We've got a big garden trampoline Luckystar, is that the sort you mean? DD does use it, not vast amounts I have to say. But between my four children it gets decent use.

We used to have one of those single trampolines with a handle for toddlers, they are great. Haven't got one at the moment though.

I'm doing a birthday party for 40 children on Saturday - joint party for my younest two children (birtgdats are 4 days apart).

Last month in our house we have had 12th, 40th, 7th and 2nd birthdays - loads of September birthdays!

What's everyone else doing for birthdays?

Luckystar1 · 05/10/2016 08:22

Oh my goodness! 40! You are my hero, I can't imagine how I would even begin to do that.

Yes a big garden trampoline, do you know what make yours is? Would you recommend it?

For birthday I don't know what we'll do. We have no family nearby so we might go away for the weekend to something dreadful like Thomas Land!

FATEdestiny · 05/10/2016 11:20

Yep, my 40th was the day after dds end birthday Blush

DH has bought me (us) a Monday-Friday all inclusive holiday in the sun withoutctgr children, and arranged babysitters for the week. Our first hokiday abroad since our honeymoon 14 years ago and out first time ever without the children.

FATEdestiny · 05/10/2016 11:25

Grrrr, fat fingers on my phone, sorry about the typing errors. Any way, sooooo excited! We go in February.

I can't remember the make of our trampoline, we've had it ages. I'll look next time im down the garden. They are worth it long term, over the last 8 years ours has had loads of use. Its worth getting a cover if yours will be sited anywhere near trees that loose leaves. And a ladder if it's not included. I think they all come with enenclosures as standard

Luckystar1 · 05/10/2016 12:14

Oh my goodness, that sounds amazing!! I hope you enjoy every single second!!
