Great news about weight gain Eliza!

Have a lovely time with the girls Grace.

I drink black coffee and peppermint tea (not together, obvs). Milk = bleurgh so can't help.

Have a lovely weekend grace !

I'm in a total grump. Have been looking forward to a night out with a girl from work ALL WEEK. It's a year to the day since I left XP and I've spent ages rearranging childcare etc. Have had a shitty week. Feeling a bit rubbish about the whole 'rejected cause I have a 2yr old, plastic-hoarding baggage'. She's just emailed saying she can't be bothered going out and can we do another day. It was her bloody idea! I'm so pissed off but don't want to BU. So, WIBU to just go out on my own? I probably won't ever actually do this

That's shit isles. Flakey people annoy me. I stick to my commitments whether I can be bothered or not! Hope you find something else to do.

I think if that were me isles I would cry. I am no good at plans being rearranged at the last minute it makes me feel really agitated. ( does that put me on the spectrum?) I would go out quite happily in own, or find a last minute friend.

I am with you -eliza I keep my commitments, and often, if I don't feel like it, they end up being the most suprisingly memorable times.

Report
isles7 · 13/02/2015 18:46

I'm actually really cross. Clearly she doesn't realise what a big deal it is for me to sort things to go out.

So, should I tart myself up and go and sit in the local cocktail bar feeling sorry for myself? Or sink a bottle of wine in the house, feeling sorry for myself?

Report
TheRealGracePoole · 13/02/2015 19:09

Tart up. Every time!

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 13/02/2015 19:10

I'd go out isles at least for a while

Take a book and your phone, have a drink and relax, toast your bravery, your new life and the quiche, then go home with an m&s meal and wine.

Your friend is not cool. I have had almost a week of guilt for cancelling my attendance at a party for a good reason. You don't just let people down like that.

And, where a big smile. Don't be dependent on someone else's actions fir your own happiness. Make it yourself. Go get em. Grin

Isles that's really poor form. I hate a Bertie-bailer and try really hard not to be one myself unless I have to. Not feeling like it anymore is a rubbish reason. If you will enjoy it, then definitely go out.

Evening everyone :) Gosh i've been a grumpy all over the place moose today. Hope tomorrow is less dreary and whatnot! Anyone doing anything for Valentine's day? We're not, well, we might stick a film on but nothing out of the ordinary!

I want choklit, again. Why can't I be one of those people without a sweet tooth? Instead, all of my teefs is sweet ones

Thanks GG I wasn't sure Blush

Hope P had a nice time at the cinema yesterday pass, and you should certainly be relaxing!!

sounds like she's doing fab with it gg

eliza i'll keep an eye out for the room on the broom one, thanks! glad clarks sorted the shoes out for you without any ishoos, and yay for A's positive weight gain :)

ooh hope you have a fab time with the girls Grace

ooh hope you had a good time a-fluttering pass!

That's really shit isles I would be completely and utterly pissed off! Go out at least for a bit :) It's a big thing for you, a whole year!!!

You are allowed to be grumpy kyz you are queen! And have choc lit. I think you are allowed it n'est pas?

Report
Elizadoesdolittle · 13/02/2015 21:22

kyz it was on at Christmas and the Christmas before that so you may have a long wait!

I forget to make a coffee with koko but I did make custard with it and it was yummy. This stuff is good. Don't know why I started off with awful oatmilk.

A has been a fussy bugger today. He hates hates hates being put down. My umbilical hernia is hurting, well my whole stomach is but it's mainly due to the hernia and the fact I'm constantly carrying something or someone. Even when I'm just sitting feeding he is pressing on it. I actually went to bed at 9:30 the other night as it was hurting so much. It's unheard of for me to go to bed early but lying down was the only way to make it less painful.

TheRealGracePoole · 13/02/2015 22:08

We're going to the circus today. A big one.

Report
Elizadoesdolittle · 14/02/2015 17:16

Doesn't look like it grace. Think I'll need to get it removed.

gg enjoy. I'm thinking of taking the girls to the circus during half term. We went last year and I thought it was a bit rubbish. It's quite a small one though and tickets are only a fiver with under 3's free so well worth the money. The kids enjoyed it. I'm not a massive circus fan anyway.

Report
BigPigLittlePig · 14/02/2015 22:08

How was the circus, GG? Restrained myself from making too many comments about enjoying a big one Wink

Enjoy your girls, Grace.

How is the choklit munching going, kyz?

And ouch to hernias, Eliza Sad

Am full of germs, totally gross. My voice has expired after a 13hr shift at work. Brew

It was quite good thanks pig though for some reason thought wild animals had been banned from
Circuses so was a bit shocked and a lot sad that it started with big cats.

After that it was awesome. The girls were spellbound, really got into it shouting and clapping and making all the right noises. We were ringside.

Report
Passmethecrisps · 15/02/2015 17:07

I thought they were banned from animals as well. Maybe UK? Glad the girls enjoyed it - sounds wonderful.

Today has been a do nothing kind of day. With all the ups and downs that such a day brings!

We have cuddled on the sofa, made chocolate cheerio cakes, made pea and ham soup, done some dancing, washed lots of clothes, I napped . . .

Now p is in her second lot Of Jammies of the day. Not deliberate. I thought it was a top and leggings but it looks awfully like Jammies to me.

Now we are cuddled again watching Bing after a toe stubbing incident.

I'd enjoy the circus more if it had animals in it. Blush But I obviously don't condone cruelty to animals so glad that they aren't.

I have water .

Lucky me. I know I could have a glass of wine but I just never fancy one at home. I can't wait to go to a nice bar and have one. I haven't been out since early December. That's ages for me.
