stigz sounds like teeth dd2 had two by the time she was 16 weeks and had all those symptoms before they came through. You probably know already but ibuprofen based medicine is better than calpol for teething. It's helps with the inflammation better.

goats r found his voice yesterday and has not shut up since!! Lots of screeching, shouting and general waaahing! I wish I could tell you there was on off switch but unfortunately this continues for at least the next 5 years Grin
Dd2 (4) and ds1 (16 months) play a game- who can scream the loudest in each other's face, how I love that game (not!)

splendide · 26/01/2015 13:14

I've been to a PND support group this morning. Was pretty helpful I think, I'm going to go again anyway. Made me feel a bit more normal, very common themes to all of us. I cried a lot but I think it was quite cathartic really.

STIGZ · 26/01/2015 13:56

Cheers pregnant i didnt know that Blush will get some today.

Glad your support group was helpful splendid you really seem so much more positive these daysSmile

goats i love that manic shrieking, dunno why? She has days where she wont shut up and other days its like she has forgot how to use her voice? Glad your journey went well Smile

wondermoose13 · 26/01/2015 14:36

Ive been hiding on the stairs for the past 2 hrs... i ate lunch here too! Babymoose fell asleep after sling library so put him in lounge in his car seat assuming he'd wake after 45mins as he usually does but he's still asleep! I cant go and lie down because my room is too far away and i wouldnt hear him til he was going properly mental so im hiding out here! Im a crazy person....

splendide · 26/01/2015 14:45

Sounds good though Moose he's definitely doing longer sleeps this week it seems!

MundayCakes85 · 26/01/2015 14:49

Your meeting sounds like it really helped Splendide glad to hear you're going again.
Moose I sit in the hallway too sometimes!
We almost got a nap, but she woke up when I peeled her off me- trying boob number 2 now Smile

splendide · 26/01/2015 14:58

I think it did help! Also they wanted me to leave A in a crèche which I really didn't want to do but in the end DH took him for the morning so I had 3 hours out on my own (with the travel). They were absolutely fine and it's given me a hint of freedom.

wondermoose13 · 26/01/2015 15:48

When he woke up he had 1 boob, barfed all over me and is now on again. Going to take him out in pram in a few mins see if i can get another short nap. Im determined tonight will not be as crap as last night!

splendide · 26/01/2015 16:03

I'm having no luck with naps today!

YellowWellies · 26/01/2015 16:45

Poor Lil had her 4 month jags today and desperately wants to nap but Mr Toddler keeps on blimmin waking her! She screamed so loudly and high pitched the nurse was Shock Shock Shock Shock . Small but loud. Where does she get that from?

wondermoose13 · 26/01/2015 18:01

Walked for 1hr30 and he only fell asleep after 1hr10! Got him safely inside, sat on sofa and hell child woke up!

tattyblue · 26/01/2015 20:57

Oh God. Another evening of snoozy snoozy snoozy NOT SNOOZY. It's like watching a slow motion version of someone trying to stay awake through a boring play, except the boring play is my tit.

wondermoose13 · 26/01/2015 21:09

Same here tatty he just came off by himself but jerked awake and started chomping like a crazy thing! It was looking so promising! Ive also got his left arm doing overarm bowling motions too! Weird baby!

MundayCakes85 · 26/01/2015 21:29

I had baby asleep at 6.45- DH came crashing out of bathroom and now he's only just managed to get her back to sleep.
As a result dinner was rubbish and I've retreated to the bath Hmm

Kirstipops · 26/01/2015 22:52

Splendide really good to hear you had a positive experience at the PND meet-up Smile
HV was over for her last home visit today to discuss weaning, she gave me lots of free stuff which was nice! A potato/veggie masher, tiny individual tubs for freezing said veg, a sippy cup, toothbrush and toothpaste, a booklet of weaning recipes and a cloth bag full of baby books, I was v impressed. (H was particularly into the picture book of photos of babies).

Had a better day with her today, basically because I barely left her side/put her down. 17 days until this "leap" is apparently over Confused
Hope we all have nice sleepy nights!

MundayCakes85 · 26/01/2015 23:08

Kirsti that sounds like a great haul from the HV- don't think they do that sort of thing down here. Although I have been invited to a weaning talk. Right doing the dream feed and hoping for a good stretch of sleep again tonight total jinxed it

ohthegoats · 27/01/2015 00:23

Urgh Just got pip off to sleep a feed at midnight when she did a massive runny pooey nappy in her sleep - she's never pooed in her sleep before. Changed her, managed to rock her back to sleep, put in sleepyhead and she starts coughing and heaving. I lift her back out again and she does huge projectile puke right across bed - twice. She doesn't seem bothered.

So, get everything stripped off, find replacement duvet etc. Now shes lying next to me happily chatting and gurgling and thrashing like mad.

Do you reckon that's an alright sign to feed her more to see what happens? She's never been ill like that - scary. Worried that she's dehydrated.

wondermoose13 · 27/01/2015 04:29

Eeek goats! That does not sound fun!!

kirsti we"re off to a "babies first foods" session tomorrow, i am now hoping for free stuff! Lol

I cant believe we had such a good sleep over the weekend and babymoose has gone back to one hour sleep, one hour scream/feed :( reeeeally thought we were getting somewhere after our 3 weeks of hell!

MundayCakes85 · 27/01/2015 11:28

Baby in sleeping bag, Ewan on in back ground, boob on the go- she WILL have a nap before lunch time!
Going for a nice walk this afternoon as long as the weather holds out.
But quiet on here today- everyone ok?

sazzlehopes · 27/01/2015 11:47

Tis quiet!
Goats, I reckon it was ok to feed, Soz I'm never on my phone at night, I find the light wakes me up too much and we always worry about phone rays.... Hope P was ok in the end?

Moose I have a crazy arm flapper! Ned has a strong right arm - a sign I hope of his string tennis career ahead?!

STIGZ · 27/01/2015 12:15

Is everybody bracing themselves for the snow? I always take weather warnings with a pinch of salt as they never seem to predict it either way?

Hope pip is ok goats? I would feed also!

I have a crabby baby, off out as i cant take anymore crying, hoping the car journey sends her into a nice sleep ? She just wont sleep by 20minz just now and so so so so overtiredConfused

MundayCakes85 · 27/01/2015 12:30

Well that didn't work. She foiled the first attempt by doing a massive poo, then woke up after 20 mins the second time Sad
Maybe I'll tummy time her into submission?!

LebkuchenMonster · 27/01/2015 12:35

Hi all. Haven't been on for a bit as was reading decluttering threads instead (but not actually doing any Hmm).

Ds's sleep and feeds are currently all over the place. I tried to do bedtime at 7ish yesterday. He went to sleep at 8, but woke an hour later, barely fed and then slept 10-2. Wanted to feed again at 4.30, but then went without a feed until 11, despite being awake from 7-8.30 as normal.

Other nights recently we've had 3-hourly feeds, and/or hourly wake-ups. I'm not sure what I can or should try and we're going away in a few weeks which makes me loath to attempt anything before we go.

Sorry me me me post.

YellowWellies · 27/01/2015 12:39

Urgh the ABs for the toddler's chest infection are making him shit like a muck spreader. Three changes of bedding last night. Two outfit changes today. One accident on the couch and on me. Which I didn't notice until after I'd paid the roofer! I've managed to leave the room twice (to go to the loo and to get the fouled bedding out of the wash) both times to hysterical tears from both. Poor Lil isn't getting much comfort post jags - I'm just fighting fires (cleaning arses, vom, getting medicine in and managing the occasional BF! - though with all the germs that must be flying round the house I'm glad about the latter). Poor toddler is still 39.5c and jeez I reckon I've done 15 nappy changes already? All to the soundtrack of the tears of the other sibling left sitting on their own on the couch. My brain is fried! Confused

MundayCakes85 · 27/01/2015 12:47

On no Yellow sounds like you're having an awful time. But well done on coping so far. Anyone around who could take Lil out for a bit? Hope things start to get better soon Flowers
