Get into bed too and DH can sleep on the floor?
My baby got bored to sleep listening to the in depth history of DH's football club!
Attempting dream feed, no nappy change bad mum but can't smell anything Good luck tonight everyone!!

wondermoose13 · 22/01/2015 22:57

We kepts him in bed but he woke up crying almost exactly 45 minutes after he fell asleep!
I tried hand holding and shushing and hand on chest but it didnt work so hes on the boob. You magical ladies that manage to get them back to sleep after the 45 min wake, what is it you do to try and help? He seemed so sleepy too, barely sounded like he was breathing so i couldnt sleep

wondermoose13 · 23/01/2015 00:10

Hmm boobed him back to sleep, woke on transfer, sleeping bag pinned down with sheet, white noise, stroking chest and he so nearly went off but chose rage instead! Bad babymoose!

Making bedtime earlier for us just means earlier night feeds... He only goes longer than 2/3 hrs if in bed with us little rascal!

splendide · 23/01/2015 04:51

Holy shit! I've just woken A for a feed. He's been asleep 9 hours! Sad to wake him but I've got tits like rocks and he's too small to go this long. I'm genuinely a bit worried but my god it's nice to have had some sleep. I'm sure he'll never do it again but I'm going to need to set an alarm from now ok in case I think.

wondermoose13 · 23/01/2015 05:24

Babymoose just about did 2 hrs with white noise. Dh is being a tosser. Angry

Happytimes31 · 23/01/2015 06:02

Hugs moose every two hours for me again tonight

sazzlehopes · 23/01/2015 07:15

Every hour. EVERY HOUR. Why???!!!!!!!!
Half 11 feed, half 12 Rock to sleep. 2 feed, 3 Rock to sleep, 4 feed, 5 awake feed, 6 give up and came downstairs...
Mental. Bring on all the Brew

Praying to the sleep gods that giving up dairy again helps! Confused

splendide I wouldn't wake him. He's doing what he's suppose to do sleeping through don't stop that. He will ask for more in the day feed, feed, feed in the day and let him sleep at night. Glad things are starting to turn a corner for you :)

Pregnantagain7 · 23/01/2015 13:41

Sorry bump that's exactly what you just said didn't read your post properly!

FATEdestiny · 23/01/2015 14:17

splendide, 9 hours, that is fantastic! Well done you for getting some sleep.

splendide · 23/01/2015 14:49

I do feel like we've turned a bit of a corner. I know his sleep may well go worse again (I mean worse generally, I definitely know he's not going to sleep so long every night!) but at least it's a bit of hope.

He's doing much better naps now as well, here's hoping it continues.

Kirstipops · 23/01/2015 15:27

Splendide I agree with Pregnant and Bump, let him kip! Both the HV and breastfeeding consultant said the same to me when I was just out of hospital and wondering if I should set an alarm to wake H for feeds (as she slept for 4-5 hour chunks in her first stretch from the get-go), they said let her sleep, she would wake when hungry and probably feed more often in the day. Even now she feeds every 2 hours at almost 16 weeks, she must be banking it up for night time!

MundayCakes85 · 23/01/2015 16:01

Baby napping! Upstairs! Let's see how long this lasts Smile

wondermoose13 · 23/01/2015 16:13

We're not even getting every 2 hours, we're getting 2 hours total :s im seriously considering taking him off the omeprazole. Dh rang the consultants office to ask for advice prior to our appt in 2 weeks and was essentially told to bog off! & that gp should be managing in mean time, but gp is shite! And what if i take him off omeprazole and he still wont sleep :s

wondermoose13 · 23/01/2015 16:14

Ooh well done munday! Im really starting to wish id got a video monitor lol

tattyblue · 23/01/2015 16:28

I've got an ominously snoozy baby today. She's been quite ratty for the last week or so, so I'm hoping this is just her having a grow, and not that she's decided to sleep in the day instead of the night (last night was a bit ropey).

splendide · 23/01/2015 16:28

Ok I won't wake him again! I just sort of panicked at 5 and thought he'd starve! I'm sure I won't get the opportunity again. I'm just pleased that not waking to feed at 10 didn't ruin everything.

Moose that sucks. I've had very poor support from my GP as well. It's very tough.

ohthegoats · 23/01/2015 17:20

We're just off to the Alps. Due to all the hassle with the channel tunnel the radio actually said 'not a day to drive to France'. Definitely not a day to drive to France with a 3 month old baby then!! Agh.

MundayCakes85 · 23/01/2015 18:10

Good luck with your travels Goats hope you all have a great time.
Moose I'd be tempted to call 111 out of hours GP tonight if you need to.
Tatty I've also got a sleepy baby today- good or bad for tonight I wonder?!

STIGZ · 23/01/2015 18:50

Enjoy goats.. the thought is probably worse than the actual journey?

sazzlehopes · 23/01/2015 19:11

Operation early to bed begins... Mountain stream white noise currently blasting out the iPad! Wish me luck team.
You will not wake me every hour...you will not wake me every hour... You will not wake me every hour... ??Wink
