Felicity still has most of her daytime sleeps at home in the bouncy chair. unless I want a nap in which case we both go upstairs to bed Alternate is the pram/carseat if we are out.

RE clothes shrinking. I have tons of hand-me-down stuff and DD is in some 6-9 vests and sleepsuits (she's not 4 months yet). But that's because they've been washed tons of times before, New stuff she fits in 3-6 months although as mentioned, they start getting small after a few washes.

Smooshie85 · 15/01/2015 09:18

Had lo weighed yesterday and he is 15 pounds! Jeez he was only 6.9 when born, so pleased. He too looks like he is growing out of 3-6 clothes @ 4 months - the vests especially. We found second set of jabs messed up his sleep patterns however he's teething as well.
Hard week had to have our beloved dog put down ;( . At least I have lo to keep me company.

splendide · 15/01/2015 09:21

Well last night wasn't too bad!

My god he's noisy in his sleep though. It's insane.

splendide · 15/01/2015 09:23

Oh and he's still in newborn :( :(

Hopefully this will be the week we've sorted it though. He's getting 4 bottles a day on top of bf on demand. If not then I really think something must be wrong with him. Blood tests next week.

splendide · 15/01/2015 09:25

Really sorry about your dog, that's always really hard.

ohthegoats · 15/01/2015 10:31

You can use a Bumbo at 14 weeks right? This child just wants to be sat up the whole time, I'm bored of the play mat whinging, and can't spend my whole day with one hand holding her up so she can sit and play with things.

BettyJudy · 15/01/2015 10:40

So sorry to hear that smooshie its so so hard loosing a pet. Defo like loosing a member of your family.

goats mine wants to be sitting up all the time now too. Should be ok would have thought?

Hard time getting her down to sleep last night - not for the usual reasons though - was sifting through other threads and came across 'share my shame' on the classics thread. Ahh man, if any of you want a good giggle, go have a read. Was shaking with laughter so much that kept shaking baby betty awake whilst trying to settle Grin

Kirstipops · 15/01/2015 11:09

Sorry about your dog Smooshie Sad
Splendide hopefully the formula + bf'ing will do the trick and blood tests will just confirm all is well with your wee one,if he's noisy lo while he sleeps it sounds like he has a bit of energy about him anyway!!
H's sleep seems to be pretty much back to normal, touch wood, I'm hoping her crazy fortnight was the 4 month sleep regression come early and now it's passed?? Funnily enough if she falls asleep for 7-7.30ish she will do a good 9 hours but if she resists til 9-12am she'll "only" do 6 before a wakeup.

I'm going to give her a go in her door bouncer for a while today I think, just need to build it up.

Sorry to hear about your dog Smooshie Flowers
We were looking at the Bumbo but we've already got a bouncy chair, a highchair that reclines and a Jumperoo so have no floor space left!
Just had 2nd jabs and she fell asleep on the walk home. FX she gets a good long nap.

Kirstipops · 15/01/2015 12:45

Haha well I tried H in the bouncer, think she has still has some growing to do, I nearly lost her in it Grin

wondermoose13 · 15/01/2015 13:06

Aww smooshie im so sorry to hear that, its so tough, hope you get lots of smiles and cuddles off your lo xx

wondermoose13 · 15/01/2015 14:31

Babymoose is asleep in his car seat... has been for 2 hrs.. opened his eyes once and shut them again. Im sat on the stairs eating a veg pot as he has the lounge
Its so unbelievably rare for him to stay asleep coming in from the car or sleep at all in the day that im sat here worrying hes ill and thats why hes sleeping! Im a crazy person! (....but what if he is ill? Confused)

FATEdestiny · 15/01/2015 14:41

Enjoy it moose.

I've had the second day of massive nap again today. This time though instead of falling asleep at home, she fell asleep in the carseat while we were out.

Then slept from 11.00 to 2.15. In that time I managed food shop, two places for clothes shopping, post office and lunch out! Grin

tattyblue · 15/01/2015 14:48

My baby is napping in her crib for the first time in weeks (we had rubbish sleep last night so I think she's exhausted). I ought to be sorting clothes to give away but instead I'm lying in bed reading comics OH YEAH.

splendide · 15/01/2015 15:22

A been asleep since 1 when DH gave him a bottle so I've been in bed a couple of hours. Nice!

wondermoose13 · 15/01/2015 16:04

Spotty teenager "raising money for blind kids" woke him up. I always feel guilty when i say no to people but i also feel massively annoyed that they have come to my house to ask for money.. i happily give to a few charities but even if i did want to support a charity id never sign up with someone at my door because i dont trust them to actually be from a charity. Im obviously a very paranoid person.

Baby moose has learned "oooh" today its quite cute! He has his moments where hes not that bad Wink

Happytimes31 · 15/01/2015 16:23

Ah ha shrinking might explain clothes becoming small rather quickly! Most 3-6 mths stuff is great now apart from 3-6 mths gap pram suit that is already too small without being washed!

wondermoose13 · 15/01/2015 16:57

Pram suits are just weird. The arm holes never seem to be in the right place... maybe babymoose has weird proportions! Weve got a lovely m&s snow suit and a fluffy bear one from matalan but both are an absolute arse to get his arms in!

ohthegoats · 15/01/2015 18:01

I don't have a pram suit. She's so rarely in a pram it seemed silly getting one. I took back the ones we were gifted too. In a sling she only really needs normal clothes plus a hat - she's still inside my coat at the moment, we both sweat.

I went to music with mummy today. Am staying with parents so away from all my mummy friends - made a friend for having coffee locally, pip needs other baby company too.

Happytimes31 · 15/01/2015 20:23

Yes arms a nightmare in virtually everything, he would rather nothing had arms but especially pram suits!!

RudyTuesday · 15/01/2015 20:31

I went to a noisy singing class and ds hated it. He's used to a quiet life with mummy. Thing is I met another mummy who lives round the corner so I'd like to go back just to try to make a friend. Will give it one more try and see if he likes it. I feel a bit shy about swapping numbers, wish the class had a Facebook group so I could friend her.

RudyTuesday · 15/01/2015 21:55

Hmm I sound like a moony teenager in Jackie photo story. Must pull myself together.

Pregnantagain7 · 15/01/2015 22:21

Rs sleeping is worse than ever he woke every 2 hours last night from 7.
I'm dreading going to bed tonight. None my others have been like this I am exhausted :(

wondermoose13 · 15/01/2015 22:46

Babymoose just fed to sleep, absolutely zonked, woke after 20 mins!
