Pear never test in the afternoon!!!! Morning wee girl!!!

peardrop2 · 17/12/2014 21:02

Kitty is that true?

OP posts:
bringonthetrumpets · 17/12/2014 21:26

Yes! It's true! Concentrated wee would have more of the hCG in it, making it easier to detect super early in the pregnancy.

peardrop2 · 17/12/2014 21:36

Oooooooo! I'll make sure I do it first thing at the weekend then. Desperately trying to stay calm and not get excited...so hard!

On a similar note just want to say thanks so much for letting me steal the thread for a couple of days. I've tried to find a conception thread but the two I joined ignored me Hmm I don't want to steal the thread anymore so I'm going to quickly turn it round to our cute toddlers...

Who's wearing Christmas Pjs? Grin Dressed bpear in a cute reindeer pair tonight. Too cute for words! They're so toasty I am hoping praying they help him sleep longer then 6am Wink

I bought Christmas PJs, although he hasn't worn them yet as they're not fleecy and it's been too cold to wear them lately. Will wear them on Christmas Eve. He had a really cute 'Baby's first Christmas' babygro last year but he wet himself during the night so by morning was wearing something else entirely Xmas Hmm

If only frus! Xmas Grin

peardrop2 · 18/12/2014 13:12

Hah hah can you imagine if they changed themselves in the night!!! That would be amazing and scary all in one Grin

Frus, we've moved from 5am to 6am when teething stopped a few weeks ago. I've got to say that extra hour of sleep is soooo good! This morning was 6:20 so just maybe the pyjamas helped!!!

Haha! Love coming to this convo in the morning and seeing a good chat has been established.

The kids' x-mas PJs haven't arrived in the mail yet. We give them their new PJs on Xmas eve so they can wear them while they open our family's gifts and watch A Muppet Christmas Carol. I love x-mas eve so much. I never had it as a kid b/c of my parent's religion and so I absolutely love making our own new traditions that my kids will remember. I don't remember a single Xmas from my own childhood (we weren't even allowed to watch Xmas movies or tv shows) so I'm bound and determined to help the kids have good memories of spending time with their family to look back on and talk about when they are adults.

Bring that is such a lovely idea. I might steal it in the future and keep Christmas pjs for Christmas Eve! I love what you do. Sounds like how I want our family home to become Smile

That is hilarious Frus! Knocking each other over with stockings sounds like it was so fun! Also, so funny on the stocking gifts!

Steal away pear! Smile

So, I had to volunteer not really volunteering when one is forced to do so at DS1's kindergarten holiday party and I had to come up with a craft. I brought in supplies to make necklaces out of cut-up paper straws with wooden beads so the kids had a little craft project during their party which was a pretty lame party if you ask me .

Best quotes of the day;
-From one girl, "Did you know that boys can marry boys and girls can marry girls? I'm going to marry a boy, but I'm not going to have any babies, because did you know that if you don't want to have any babies you just take some medicine" Hmm
-Another little girl: "You look too young to be someone's mother. Are you sure you're really DS1's mother?" Hmm
-A little boy: "Just how old are you? My mom is 18, but my grandma is 25 and that is so old " Hmm (This kid is 6 btw, WTF.)

peardrop2 · 18/12/2014 21:43

Should you not be happy that you were told you look to young to be M's mummy? Grin

I'm just gonna go ahead and put it out there because I'm not ashamed of it.... dealing with kids that I don't know just ain't my thang. I love mine to pieces, and I love friend's kids, but doing what I had to do today is a form of torture for me and it was exhausting. So when kids start asking me weird questions, I get all weird and it takes every ounce of strength to not be snarky and sarcastic and to just carry on like I'm having a normal conversation with someone. I was not destined to be a teacher, clearly.
