Symptoms experienced so far in my head. Frequently peeing, twitchy boobs, spotty skin Hmm and very dry mouth.

Thanks bring...you're absolutely spot on about kids not appreciating us taking them to fun places Wink and yes it just confirms how much Bpear loves sand Smile I don't think it helped that he was tired from being up again in the night...again Brew

No AF yet.

Frus, has anyone else shown interest? Does the seller know your situation? Are you collecting? Wonder whether you could pay a holding fee to them? If it was me then I would wait but explain to them that I really want it but I don't get paid until next week etc. and ask if they would mind late payment before making a bid. I would maybe offer a deposit.

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 14:42

Has anyone brought any Easter eggs yet? I was in the supermarket with bpear this morning and managed to grab something for DH and I. I only had a second thanks to bpear being all screamy. Went for Dairy caramel for DH and Maltesers for myself. Not sure I made the right decision. Please don't tell me you ladies don't buy yourselves Easter eggs?!!!!

Still no AF. Managed to make chicken pie and Bolognese at nap time this afternoon. Absolutely shattered Shock

Librarina · 01/04/2015 15:52

I have chicken pie envy. I'm craving warm luscious comfort foods, stew and dumplings and pie and Yorkshires with gravy and anything sweet with lashings of custard. Completely the opposite of last pregnancy when I went vegetarian and lived off tinned tomatoes on toast.

I've just been to Aldi and managed to spend 60 quid on Easter Eggs and Champagne... my birthday is going to be a hoot!

AGnu · 01/04/2015 17:06

Sounds like a fun party Lib!

We've bought a "family" egg to share. The DSs' godparents are popping round on Saturday though so no doubt they'll bring plenty of chocolate with them. DH doesn't eat a lot of chocolate so I'll probably end up having to eat the majority of the egg... It'll just clutter up the house otherwise!

peardrop2 · 01/04/2015 17:09

AF has arrived. No christmas baby for me Hmm

What, no! Ahh pear That really sucks. I'm so sorry Sad

Yes, I definitely buy myself easter eggs and all sorts of horrible chocolatey things. I tend to have a bit more self-restraint than DH though, he's normally the one who will bring the naughty stuff home!

So, we are expecting severe thunderstorms tonight Hmm 12 inches of snow last week and now it's 70 degrees F today and stormy tonight. Mother Nature in the spring is so temperamental where I live. It's like she's going through menopause every spring with hot flashes of warm weather and frigid attitudes that come with a blizzard. Ugh. Better go clean up the yard of all the crap the kids dragged out of the garage once it warmed up so they don't come crashing through the windows in case the wind picks up.

M only woke up 2x last night, which was practically like nothing compared to the last couple of nights. She just wanted some water and help falling back to sleep. Thank goodness for antibiotics and ibuprofen.

Oh Pear, I'm sorry It didn't happen this time, it's horrible when you really want it to.

Can I ask you, how are your Littles about pooing? N is really weird, she refuses to be in the same room as someone else and if you approach her she says 'No, bye bye' until she has finished, she then completely denies that there might be poo in her nappy and it might possibly need changing. Is this normal or does she have a weird poo complex?

Totally normal, Lib It's a great sign that she's starting to recognize her body signals! Maybe suggest that she changes her baby doll's nappy and then suggest changing hers after? Or maybe it's an eldest child thing as mine used to do the same thing.... Completely deny the poo even though he stunk like a skunk.

Totally thundered out last night and it was just like finally spring has sprung here. I had my own mini melt-down last night after weeks of no sleep, a teething/ear infection toddler who howled and screamed in the middle of the night and a mini spat with the husband. I laid down with M for 45 minutes trying to get her to settle down and go to sleep. She kept slapping me, kicking me, squirming around, shoving her hand down my shirt and rolling my nipples (and then getting frustrated when I would make her stop as it was making my toes curl). FINALLY, finally she falls asleep and my fucking stupid cat jumps up and blows her door open and she pops up and is awake. Go through all the motions again, finally she's asleep and I'm creeping out the door and kid #2 bursts out of his bedroom door, runs into the bathroom which is straight across from M's bedroom, flips the light on right as I opened her door So.... she wakes up again. I. Was. So. Flipping. Frustrated. I just left her to CIO. DH comes upstairs and says "why is she crying? why aren't you in there with her?" Cue me, breaking into sobs and tears and more shoulder-heaving sobs with frustration, exhaustion, sore nipples, exasperation, dealing-with-my-own-ear-infection-in-both-ears, SOBS. I went and hid in the car in the garage. DH tries to snatch the keys away because he thinks I'm trying to leave. OMG. It was a bit of hell last night around our house. M finally fell to sleep at 10pm when DH went back in and settled her down. But praise science, she slept until 5:30 this morning. PHEW.

Ohhh bring how are you coping with this?!? It sounds madness you must all be so shattered, I just couldn't sleep with either of mine, I'd never get a wink and it sounds torturous rolling nipple Confused didn't you use CIO with her when she was younger? Or was it with ds? Could it be time to try it again? Not so much CIO but just stopping all aids like you in bed, and drinks etc they understand so much now just going in and saying no that's it now it's sleepy time if she plays up?
We got home on Sunday, had such a great time, back to reality now though, flight home was great as a night flight, it took 2 nights to get them back to our time frame but looks to be sorted now, we did have a few hours of crying though from kitten as she wasn't tired until it was 11 our time which was what she was used to then she went to sleep, had to go in and wake them both at 9 lol
So sorry to hear about af pearHmm it sucks being on the waiting game, will you wean? You've done so well whatever you decide I mean almost 2 years, that's some achievement!
How are you feeling lib? How many weeks (days, minutes) yes to a Holliday, a great idea before bubba 2 arrives, I went to Egypt when I was preggers with both mine too
How are injuries fruss?
Lor, I'd be so proud too, it's so sad isn't it lol kitten has done every poo on the potty for about 3 weeks now, she knows just what it is and has at time said toilet but still likes to hide and deny aswell, totally normal, kitten hasn't managed a wee yet although did a wee by the pool on holl's while she was rudie poody as I like to call it Wink and said "wee" so she did know what it was

peardrop2 · 02/04/2015 21:57

Bring - Thanks for cheering me up. I know I shouldn't laugh at your horrific story but I did have a little chuckle just because I thought to myself wow parenting really sucks after 7pm Smile I love how your DH thought you would actually drive off. Perhaps you were half thinking about it Wink You so deserve the best night sleep on the bus!!!!!

Frus - Yay! Well done for snapping it up. Sounds like you got a bargain. I love an EBay bargain Smile What colour is it? Can't believe you didn't mention the colour before Wink

So, you may have already sensed from my cheery tone of voice that I have had two glasses of red wine ?? Yes! DH even made me have it because apparently I've been doom of gloom feeling really sick with AF. At least I got to toast to 22 months of bf! I am now in a happy sleepy state and ready for bed Smile

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 02/04/2015 22:01

Kitty - glad to hear you're back safe and sound. Sounds like a perfect family holiday! Do you feel rested or is that impossible? I ripped off the plaster (so to speak) and stopped bf this morning so now I am not bf anymore. Toasted to 22 months tonight Smile I so wanted to reach 2 years but never mind...2 months is no big deal!
