fate glad the dentist went well and you can feed your lo.

Yy to the sleep thing. When Eli was ill he was falling asleep at 7 and sleeping till 10 bottle then 4 then wake up 7-8. He has really struggled going down earlier now he is better but we had a huge over tired tantrum last night at 11pm so gonna try and get him down earlier tonight. He slept 11.30-7.30 last night and I know it's cause he is on his tummy!

holls2000 · 01/12/2014 20:31

oh no cookie. hope you are ok.

ella thank you. he has started trying a bit more. Going to train him over xmas. ooh aveeno crean where do I get that? we are using that one starting wuth D that I keep calling diazepam but I don't mean that!! I hadn't been putting ut on regularly enough so have done this pm and it has made an improvement. but it smells horrid. I have bethanpan or however you spell it moisturiser to try if this doesn't work. im wondering if it's reaction to chlorine so shall cover his face in barrier cream on weds :-)

FATEdestiny · 01/12/2014 20:38

Excellent news Team, I am so pleased for you and baby Smile

Take care cookie. It's been around 18 months when I've suffered with my back with previous children. Must remember this time to stop carrying DD around once she is walking!

She looks gorgeous Ella!

Puts me to shame. DD has only worn sleepsuits up to now.

holls2000 · 01/12/2014 21:01

oh poo can't see photos.

for those of you ff, at night what do you do? at xmas staying at in laws. at home take perfect prep machine upstairs but that's not really poss there. I was thinking of filling thermos with boiling water and pouring into bottles and adding powder as needed? is that ok?

CumbrianExile · 01/12/2014 21:08

Oh what a cutie Ella. I must get organised and sort out Aidans christening. Not even sure where to start haha!

Nice to hear your excellent news Team, I hope having the harness removed makes it a bit easier for you and more comfortable for the lo.

CumbrianExile · 01/12/2014 21:10

Holls, I am one of those that doesn't quite follow advise, and pre make up my bottles and put them in the fridge. So just a few minutes to warm through rather than the full faff of making it. But sure a flask of water would work just as well.

TeamEponine · 01/12/2014 21:18

Oh Ella, she's so cute!

Think it is going to be a long night. Although the removal of the harness is great, every time she kicks her legs, they go further than she is expecting, which jolts her and wakes her up!!! Guess she has been in it for six weeks, so it must be strange not having it on. It took her a few days to get used to wearing the harness, so maybe it is going to take her a few days to get used to not wearing it?

velvetlilithi · 01/12/2014 21:30

holls I have a thermo flask with boiled water, than a sterilized bottle with cooled boiled water. lets say I need to make 5oz. I mix 3oz of hot water from the flask with milk powder, shake, then add 2oz off cooled water from the bottle. Then it's ready to drink immediately without any cooling or warming. The same I take with me when going out. Don't have to worry about finding a place where to cool it.

holls2000 · 01/12/2014 21:36

thanks velvet that is what I shall do.

Hey everyone I've not posted in weeks! Was on the thread up until jake was about 4 weeks then lost the thread. How's everyone doing? I have just read back over the last few days this whole thread to try to catch up a bit lol. Jake is now 10 and a half weeks and weighs 15lb 5 and a 1/2 ounces! Some 3-6 months clothes are starting to get tight on him! He's having a few issues feeding though as screaming then bringing up wind, trying Infacol at the moment as well as gripe ester occasionally, Anyone recommend anything else to help before I book a drs apt, as it's horrible to see him in pain :(
Love her outfit ella glad she was ok through the ceremony too :)
kitkat I feel exactly like you about the Xmas work do, knew got mine on Friday dreading it! Partly cause unsure how jake will be as he is very clingy to me, and also I've not seen my colleagues since jake was 2 weeks old. Will be nice to be out though for a change I guess.
How's everyone doing for Xmas shopping? What are you all buying the babies?

Hi all, I have to catch up with yesterday post... Meanwhile, can somebody tell me if you would take your LO to doctors if they cough only in the morning? Ds has been coughing only in the morning for a long time now, it does not go away, he also has a runny nose which doesn't go but he is all fine apart from these...
Should I take him?

Honeybear30 · 02/12/2014 08:39

I had the same problem nazly and mentioned to the HV. She said it's just where DS gets congested in the night and doesn't have the reflex to cough and clear his throat when he's lying flat on his back like we do. She asked if I lied down for 12 hours and didn't cough once would I then be congested in the morning, I agreed I would. But now DS does have a proper cold I did take him to the doctors. To be honest though, if you're worried, then take him. No good doctor is going to judge you for taking a baby in to see them.

holls2000 · 02/12/2014 08:55

Ella she looks beautiful.

Always what a cutie jake is. Here is young Barney.

Christmas - got him a couple of toys and some books. Also going to get some CDs for car! In laws have bought his a coat and hat and a sleeping bag. Granny has bought a jumperoo.

Hello all.

My back is a bit better today feels more bruised then agonising!

Those of you ff, how much milk does your baby take?

holls barney is so cute and I just love the name :)

At night we use perfect prep but if we were going to someone else's house I would pre make them and leave them in the back of the fridge. Then just take the chill off. Luckily Eli will take them at most temps :)

Aveeno you can get almost everywhere!

cookielove · 02/12/2014 09:18

Also is the Diazapan cream - diprobase?

cookielove · 02/12/2014 09:20

Here's one of Eli
