I love it fruit. Any TV programme has to work quite hard to keep my attention but this does even with having subtitles. The cinematography is wonderful as well

Wandathewindfairy · 19/10/2014 09:34

Congratulations jj lovely news.

fruit The Bridge is good. I watched it when it was on TV. I found it took a bit of concentrating though because it was subtitles.

Hope you feel better today pass or at least can cosy up with the wind and rain raging outside

Oh also pass have a great Sainsbos dress you would prob like. The cut is really flattering I will unashamedly photo myself and add it to the thread on fb that you started on Fri.

In other news....2 discoveries over the last couple of weeks.

1.) a book " Little Rabbit FooFoo" it comes with a DVD and in brilliant, we just sing it all the time.

2.) a singer songwriter called John Martyn. I was listening to a great
R4 programme called A Mix Tape For Gus, about this musician whose brother had died and she was sorting through all the mix tapes he had made. I ended up listening to it twice and then trying find this song by John Martyn called I don't Want Know.... It's lovely. (Just felt I had to share that)

7 sleeps till the girls are here. As yw would say......squeeeeeeeeeeedeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Also I seem to have a fairy godmother makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Passmethecrisps · 19/10/2014 09:42

Oh please, wanda! You know I love a wee sainsbos bargain

Elizadoesdolittle · 19/10/2014 11:29

I picked up my secret santa present from the autumn craft fair I went to yesterday Smile

Had a fab night out with friends. I don't usually see this bunch without the kids (nct peeps) so was nice to see everyone out in their glad rags and able to talk without children interrupting. Had a good old boogie as well.

It's a nice autumn day here so just about to head to a park and stop for lunch somewhere. Have a good day all x

Elizadoesdolittle · 19/10/2014 19:15

Gosh it's quiet today. Despite both DD1 and E being in fairly stroooy moods (DD1 especially) we managed to have a good day and both girls are now tucked up in bed. Going to catch up on strictly and then I won't be far behind them the way I feel!

BigPigLittlePig · 19/10/2014 22:08

Weekend on call done.
I miss my girl.

Wine to all xx

izzybizzybuzzybees · 20/10/2014 00:12

Despite J managing to sleep thru last night it seems to have been a fluke :(

Pikz · 20/10/2014 07:03

Oh no izzy Hmm

isles7 · 20/10/2014 07:38

Congrats JJ - lovely news x

Rubbish news izzy :-(. But he CAN do it, so there is some hope. I remember being delighted the first time M slept through and thinking 'yes, she isn't broken!'

I'm going to put in an offer on a house today. Fingers crossed please Grin

Pikz · 20/10/2014 08:01

Fingers crossed isles and congratulations JJ Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 20/10/2014 08:14

It may be a battle of wills izzy

Finger crossed for you isles

Wandathewindfairy · 20/10/2014 08:16

Glad you had a lovely day eliza we battened down the hatches here and I even did some knitting while O had his lunch time nap rather than racing around doing chores.

Passmethecrisps · 20/10/2014 08:19

Fingers crossed isles

Sorry to hear that izzy.

This blinking cough seems to be no closer to shifting. I ended up sleeping upright and MNing from 2am.

Currently steeling myself sitting up in bed with p watching Everything's Rosie

MsJupiter · 20/10/2014 08:30

Thank you QM , isles and Pikz xx

Izzy I'm sorry to hear the sleeping through didn't last. I hope it becomes a trend though pdq.

Jims · 20/10/2014 08:53

isles lots of luck. Haven't seen it on facebook? Is it on rightmove??

jj many congrats.

izzy will have my fingers crossed he does it again tonight.

A busy weekend for us with uni friends and their kids to stay. Lots of fun but v noisy! In fact last week was ridiculously busy and this week is starting to look the same.

F is starting to test where the boundaries are a lot more. There is usually a moment of contemplation after you tell him something where he's clearly deciding whether to ignore me or not!

Lily311 · 20/10/2014 09:50

Took O to the dr, she sent some swabs off as she thinks she might have streptococcal infection combined with chicken pox. Some spots are blistery, others are just normal. So it's a waiting game now :(.

YellowWellies · 20/10/2014 09:56

Jims Jonas does exactly the same - or he does something like climb on the coffee table with an impish grin to deliberately test me. He's getting vair annoyed when I don't rise to the bait and just remove him with a "no darling" said in a very bored voice Grin Grin Grin Grin

Good luck Isles house porn please!

Izzy argh. That's torture!

Lil's sleep has just started to deteriorate - I've eliminated dairy since we got out of hospital (and her reflux really improved) but think she's reacting to soya... boo! There goes my Chinese takeaway treat. But she was up every 1-2 hours last night so better sleep than house special satay Sad .

YellowWellies · 20/10/2014 09:57

Lily hope O is over it quickly - poor poppet xxx

isles7 · 20/10/2014 10:30

Thank you all! It is a bit of a project house

YellowWellies · 20/10/2014 10:42

Good room sizes, bags of potential and a cracking garden! Good luck!

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/10/2014 14:38

Oh thank goodness some others of posted. I was beginning to think the quiche had been kidnapped!

isles living in a project myself I can say it's not easy. ...but you can make it exactly how you want it. Great sized rooms! Good luck.

lily Hope poor O isn't too poorly, bless her.

isles7 · 20/10/2014 15:18

Get well soon O Sad

Eliza the rough plan is to replace the kitchen/boiler and do carpets/flooring and painting before I move in, so have a month or so overlap on my rental. Then save up to do the garden/driveway next summer and bathroom either next winter or the following spring. Then windows the next year. Possible loft conversion the following year. In theory. I'm quite excited! Estate agent has said she'll phone me tomorrow morning with an answer!

isles7 · 20/10/2014 16:43

They've only gone and accepted my offer Shock Grin

Passmethecrisps · 20/10/2014 17:03
