S doesn't really get Xmas I think, although he loves the lights and trees. DD at nearly 4 has a much clearer appreciation of the whole deal 
Super busy week last week with 3 nights away with work followed by my sister's wedding on Saturday. I barely saw S as DD and I were bridesmaids but DH did a sterling job of keeping S happy and entertained all day so definite husband points there. We had a great day and DD and S looked impossibly cute in their outfits.
Stunt that sounds tough and I don't know how you deal with that without back tracking or overruling DH. S will sometimes be persuaded to say sorry but we try not to make too big of a deal and like BP, try and recognise flash points where bad behaviour almost needs to be ignored. But today is a new day and they get over th
