Poor wee F Sad

I am at home again!! Call from DH just as I stepped in the school to tell me that p had had a bad fall and cm was pretty worried. Cue a frantic journey home to minor injuries. I met them outside and p was pretty fed up. Doc proclaimed her fine but likely to be in pain so she is at home with me.

She demanded an ice lolly as soon as we got in the door and proclaimed "mmmm! I love it!" So I suspect she is fine.

I now feel like a fraud sitting here but I might get some work done later

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/12/2014 11:43

Ah poor, little F. Sad x

Glad p seems ok pass.

gt My DF was an alcoholic and I found great support from the gp, AA etc. You do have to invest the time though as they aren't going to come to you iyswim. You have to go to them. It's important for the sake of your marriage and your boys.

E just been whisked off to the park with my mum so I'm having lunch in peace before I go to my speed awareness course. All the more pertinent after what happened to bplp.

Just sat down and this morning have a discussion on home births. Didn't say anything I didn't know though.

Wandathewindfairy · 03/12/2014 12:45

Ahhhh. Dons dunces cap.

Wandathewindfairy · 03/12/2014 12:47

Poor poor old F. Hopefully she will forget about it soon. That must have tugged on your heartstrings too.

Pikz · 03/12/2014 15:58

Poor F Hmm

Sorry GT I have very little in wisdom to say but lots of hugs

BigPigLittlePig · 03/12/2014 16:14

I drove. Half a mile down the quiet country lane. And guess what I came across, down this quiet, normally deserted, road? An ambulance. Attending a car crash Envy

That aside, wasn't too bad, but my neck is sooooore now after having the seat belt on.

Pass i hope poor old P hasn't suffered any lasting effects from this mornings bump?

PetiteRaleuse · 03/12/2014 16:24

Well done piggy

Passmethecrisps · 03/12/2014 16:54

Great job bp! Terrible coincidence that you came upon an accident. Although you could say better now than later when it might shake you more by the surprise.

P had a long sleep and was very unhappy when I woke her. She has periodically asked for the doctor and calpol but I think she is just a bit sore. She is probably more subdued than normal as I managed to sit and work with her next to me which she wouldn't normally cope with.

I told her earlier she had to stop jumping all the time. She responded with a "not can stop jumping, mummy!"

PetiteRaleuse · 03/12/2014 17:28

:o that is very sweet pass I hope she feels better soon. LO loves jumping too now. Coffee table to the sofa is the latest one.

Kyz · 03/12/2014 20:42

Evening quiche! Poor e has been out of sorts today, he's been very ditsy and has fallen down the stairs twice. I didn't feel it was just a cold with him being so disorientated so I took him drs and he has abs for what looks like the beginning of an ear infection, poor mite.

pr we had the last canine a weekend or two ago, we still have those last four too

DP is just like your DH Eliza he will eat them by the box full if he's left to it!

thanks gt :) I'm rubbish with my flooid but have been really trying :) bless A, hope he gets better soon! I am glad this time alone is giving you time to think etc, I've no idea how you'd fit things in with such a busy life already but could the PIL help out at all, maybe have the boys when you need to go to therapy sessions if that's what you decide to do? Is that a silly thing to even suggest?

Thanks YW I'm 15 weeks tomorrow, I suppose it does seem to be going quite quickly though this week has really dragged! Half of the time more recently I keep forgetting I am pregnant! oooooh i want snow! I love snow and if it's going to be chilly it could at least snow to cheer me up!

Ok Wanda then I hope snow holds off for you for now :)

bless her pr how is she today?

thanks bp we really need this :) I didn't mention about it before because I didn't want to jinx anything but it's a big thing for us :) Poor F, it'll take time, bless her, give her a hug from me xx

bless her pass hope she is fine and you are ok to go back to work tomorrow!

well done bp you did brilliantly :D

bless her pass e still cannot jump, looks like a heffalump prancing about when he starts!

StuntNun · 04/12/2014 06:57

We had a terrible night last night and J has a brand new molar poking through. I don't know how DH is going to manage important meetings at work today.

Wandathewindfairy · 04/12/2014 08:23

Oh gosh stunt the thought of starting all over again makes me wibble in my boots.

I had another long long cycle last month and was about to reach for the clear blue and think about whether I could claim compensation from the hospital that did my sterilisation. When AF arrived.

I am winding up christmas today. All my jobs will be finished so that I can enjoy the boys. This year is Definitely christmas lite in our house, lite on the presents and excess, heavy on time and fun.

I hope.

Think.

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/12/2014 10:42

Ah yes of course stunt. I have plenty of decaf.

Sounds lovely wanda. I have just bought my crimbo cards and final wrapping bits so will crack on with that. Need to get xmas decs out of the garage. I'm thinking of having 2 trees this year. A fake one in the dining room which the kids can decorate to their hearts content and a real one in the living room. DH is away on a course next week so I can decorate without interference/moaning Grin

BigPigLittlePig · 04/12/2014 15:23

F has been asleep for 2.5 hours and counting. I am lazing in bed with her. She refused to sleep at nursery yesterday, just kept going on about the car and crying for me, and lots of nightmares overnight.

Did manage to get to see the pantomime with dsd yesterday evening though, which was a fab distraction Smile

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/12/2014 20:18

Poor F. It must be so heart breaking for you bplp. Glad she is getting some sleep. Hope you managed to rest ok too. And glad you had a bit of light relief at the panto.

Painting at the ceramics cafe was fun but I managed to spend over £60!! Still the girls produced things that the relatives will treasure. And I got E to do a christmas bauble for me as I never got round to her doing one last year and I have one from DD1.

Kyz · 04/12/2014 20:25

evening all - tis quiet around here atm!

stunt hope you have a better night tonight!

hope you had a nice day eliza!

sounds very lovely wanda :)

bless her bp i bet the cuddles are lovely, and I hope she's alright soon enough, poor little thing

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/12/2014 20:50

kyz I was thinking the same. The title thread talks about halloween. That seems ages a go! Just goes to show how long threads last these days.

BigPigLittlePig · 04/12/2014 21:21

I remember turning on my laptop of a morning and there being hundreds of posts to read! Such time, such a luxury lol.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/12/2014 21:41

I used to enjoy settling down on the sofa early morning to read the night's musings.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/12/2014 21:49

pig not in the same league but DD1 was v traumatised by ILs' visit back in January. I was advised to not minimise her fears or to play them down in any way but to let her talk through them in her way and give her thoughts validity iyswim.

However many times she needs to go through/re-live it or verbalise her fears.

A few months later I read "The Whole Brain Child" which backedup this idea of letting them get it out of their system as much as they need. Almost but not quite encouraging them to talk it through. I will pm you the extract.

Wandathewindfairy · 04/12/2014 21:55

Me too. I look forward to cahcing na by end end to day and In The morning. But we are so quiet. Are we all getting lives? This is a terrible thing.

Wandathewindfairy · 04/12/2014 21:57

It is a shame we can not edit our post once we have posted like you can on Facebook

BigPigLittlePig · 04/12/2014 22:24

Don't worry Wanda, lots of new babies due, sure there'll be some midnight musings (GTs rambles were always my fave) Grin

PR shall have a squizz at those pages in bed, we have been letting her talk about it whenever she needs too - hoping all will just settle with that grest healer, time.
