Morning,

Today Is O's birthday as well as the lovely pr's. Happy birthday Missus!

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/11/2014 08:09

Morning.

Happy birthday to O lily. Have a wonderful day. Are you off to the zoo.

And happy birthday pr. Wine

PetiteRaleuse · 20/11/2014 09:53

Thank you both. Still ill here. Looks like not thrush in mouth after all but still very gross, still can't eat or drink much other than water and Babybels, for some reason.. Went for unrelated blood tests this morning too.

I know how to have a good birthday you see Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 20/11/2014 11:09

I have been to them gp about the lump on my foot. He thinks it is a small cyst on the tendon which has been caused by some trauma to the area, obviosuly because I am so active and sporty Hmm.

But......

.... he is sending me for an x Ray on my toe Shock because I have a lump on my big toe which I have always had, though the last few of years it has got a bit worse and caused a bit of referred pain on the top of my foot. Anyway I always assumed it was a bunion. Then the podiatrist said she thought it might be caused by a trauma to the foot ( my poor old foot has a tragic life) and it would be easily removed. I thought I would leave it till O was a bit more self sufficient. Anyway gp is querying Ostiochondroma. Which appears to be a benign bone tumour Confused

So I have to schlep down to the hospital for an x Ray.

In other news I have just de meated my first lobster.

I will go back and catch up now.

Wandathewindfairy · 20/11/2014 11:12

I just looked up and saw a willy on This Morning Shock

Happy birthday lilysO Cake and PR Wine

Lily311 · 20/11/2014 13:02

eliza yes, we went to the zoo this morning. Went last year as well, will make it as a tradition as long as possible. We fall in love with this fella, he was just mega cute. There was a sea lion show and only we were there, I will tell O that I booked it especially for her Wink. She is now napping.

Not sure what we will do this afternoon, I have been having a headache for now 48 hours and it doesn't want to shift at all. Seriously thinking about going to gp tomorrow to ask for a blood test, I have a feeling it's connected to something.

wanda if you post in chat about your foot, they will ask you to take a picture of it and they will just adore it Wink. Honestly, some weird people there so if you need a boost about your lovely foot, head over there. On a serious note, just have it checked out. Hugs.

Wandathewindfairy · 20/11/2014 16:22

Isla I have just had a look at the thread, you gave some great and sensible advice. Remember he is s lot of hot air and the more I hear of how he switched personalities so much I would be steering well clear.

Get your quiche head on. He is floundering. He probably won't do any of that. He is jealous you are so sorted. Do not let him grind you down.

Anyway he should be concentrating on his pnemonia! Wink

isles7 · 20/11/2014 16:54

I just feel like for the next 16yrs every time I try to do somethere there will be a tantrum, and not from M Sad Why can't he just move on?

isles7 · 20/11/2014 16:55

*something

YellowWellies · 20/11/2014 17:31

Happy birthday O!

Wanda eeek gosh I wasn't expecting that diagnosis! Don't Google. Hope the x ray clears things up.

Isles I'm so sorry he's still causing you such stress. Your only fault (and its not a fault) is being too kind and forgiving with him, which isn't working. Time to be tough? Make your new home a new start without him.

Zamboni · 20/11/2014 18:04

Happy Birthday O and PR. Hope you are better soon Thanks

Isles have commented on the thread but don't think you need to worry too much. Get legal advice specific to where you are and your specific circs if you remain concerned.

S had his first dentist visit this week - he wasn't very certain about the dentist looking in his mouth but he was very pleased with his sticker! He has all but 2 of his teeth now.

Hope everyone else well in quicheland!

Lily311 · 20/11/2014 18:30

Epic fail as a mother. No match was found so candles weren't blown.

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/11/2014 20:22

Glad you had fun at the zoo lily. I remember you saying you were going to do it every year. Shame about the candles but o will know no different.

pr Hope you manage to have a relaxing evening and feel better soon.
wanda ouch to your foot!

PetiteRaleuse · 20/11/2014 20:22

lily the great thing about this age is you can have a birthday cake with lit candles tomorrow, or next week. Or whenever. LO has been blowing out the candles on my cake this evening and I realised we never got round to having a proper cake with candles at home. Though she did have one at nursery.

My mouth hurts so freaking much it is just unfunny. I had one sip of champagne and had to drink a glass of cold water to douse the pain. Was unable to eat my cakes. Didn't enjoy the roast. And am having a slightly tantrummy pity party.

Good news is my blood tests were all good. Which is fab. Just annual checks, amd I know this year thanks to stunt not to panic about the total cholesterol levels :)

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/11/2014 20:23

Cross posts pr oh dear Sad

Kyz · 20/11/2014 20:29

Helloooo quiche!

Happy birthday to lilys O :) and pr of course!

eliza waffle is good, gives me something to read! DP is at work from 6pm these days so evenings are all mine, and tbh I don't know what to do with them so I try to do useful meaningful things and end up on mn yay for foo fighters, they are fab, am very jealous!

wow yw that's some counting! Am i the only one with a toddler that gets stuck on 3 still? Can't believe L is 2 months already, time really flies doesn't it! That must mean that there's not long left for you now eliza, I think you're next aren't you?

do you know when your x-ray is Wanda? hope all is well

Aw lily that's a lovely tradition and that penguin is a cute little fella

bless him Zamboni sounds like he did ok at the dentist :) e loved getting a sticker too!

isles i'm no good with legal stuff but your exdp is a mardy arse who is all talk imo. I don't think you have anything to worry about but do post as and when you need to vent. He's very lucky imo that you still allow him to be part of M's life, he'd have nothing but a foot up the arse from me i'm afraid, you've been more than forgiving enough with him in the past! I know it's probably easier said than done but I think you need to stand up to him, it's now or never, as he'll be forever doing this otherwise! Nasty little man, that one.

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/11/2014 21:30

kyz I've got 6 weeks till my due date. It's all becoming quite real now and scary but I'm also getting quite excited too. I asked E if she was looking forward to having a baby brother or sister and she said "No. Baby stay in. No out". Did make me laugh but she really is going to get the shock of her life when it's born. And re counting E can only reliably get to 3 as well so I don't think you've anything to worry about.

MsJupiter · 20/11/2014 21:41

Wow only 6 weeks Eliza! I can't believe it's so soon. My DSIL had her second baby a while ago and her eldest was quite excited about the new baby, but about a week after he arrived she said, he's not going to live here all the time is he? Grin

Wanda that must have been a bit of a shock about your toe. Hope it turns out not to be what they are investigating.

PR ouch ouch ouch Sad

Isles he really is a cock. I hope as YW says your new home will be your new start.

L is a pretty good counter but often thinks it's funnier to say the wrong numbers. He will also claim that cows go oink, ducks go moo etc. The 2 year development check is going to go well, isn't it Confused

isles7 · 20/11/2014 22:07

6 weeks - how exciting eliza !

Happy birthday PR and O

I have decided if the house sale falls through because of him I am going to give notice on my rental and take an internal job transfer back up North. Fuck him. I'm probably not thinking straight but I am so angry I have allowed him to hurt me like this again, it's almost like I'm right back where I was in February with him dictating my life. If this house doesn't work out then I need to move away from here and start afresh for real.

YellowWellies · 20/11/2014 23:17

Eliza I had Lil at 35+5. So it could be sooner than you think! Smile Lil is 8 weeks today and just lovely. She has reflux but due to me cutting dairy from day 5 and getting her on ranitidine at 3 weeks - she isn't in screamy pain like J was. She only cries for a couple of minutes a dayvwhen red faced and battling a poo. Its so different and very lovely not to have CMPI hell. She's really waking up and very smiley. And (better still!) she's doing 4-5 hour stretches at night and sometimes only 1 feed so I'm getting 7 hours or so and starting to feel human. It has FLOWN past second time around. She is currently snoring on my chest. I'm very excited about another quiche newborn.

Wandathewindfairy · 20/11/2014 23:51

Actually, isles plan b doesn't sound all that bad, and from what you have said before I suspect that is where your heart lies. I know from experience if he wants to see, spend time with his daughter and be in her life then distance doesn't matter, as long as he has the commitment to keep it going. Keep us posted. Xx

Wandathewindfairy · 20/11/2014 23:52

Wowser. You all shout. Wanda never sees 10:30. What is going on? Shock

Elizadoesdolittle · 21/11/2014 13:01

yw you paint a lovely picture. Glad L's reflux is under control.

E's favourite books at the moment are owl babies, monkey puzzle and where's my mama. I'm sensing a theme!
