Night night pr

Passmethecrisps · 06/09/2014 21:37

I thought it was good pr! Grin the girl has no taste

Jims · 06/09/2014 21:49

Not me PR. Maybe someone else in your circle has been unlucky enough to be one of the very few people to get it this year. I'm still in the process of telling people in real life who need to know.

Wandathewindfairy · 06/09/2014 21:51

Thanks jims Thanks , sorry you are poorly. That sounds pants. How do you manage with the DC?

Hi pikz , kyz ((hugs))

I am just thinking, pass that P is amazing chattering, am really impressed with her speech.

Just watched Seven Pounds on Netflix. Reduced to sniffling tears. Better than I thought it would be.

Jims · 06/09/2014 21:59

Have heavy duty steroids to take for 5 days. So heavy duty both pharmacist involved raised an eyebrow. It's like my body has gone numb from my rib cage down and prickles when I walk. So I can still get around and lift the kids (the neurologist said it was fine to continue as much as normal as poss and I should recover). I'm also working at home a lot to avoid the travel but to keep busy. Hopefully, the steroids will start the reversal... dunno how long it will take.

pass I love that conversation. It's the bit I really enjoyed with DS1 - their personalities really start to come out.

wanda no worries. just don't be foxed by the container I used Smile

FatimaLovesBread · 06/09/2014 22:08

I'm also here but stalking Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 06/09/2014 22:08

jims am glad you are still ok with kids! but all sound pretty scary to me.

GTbaby · 06/09/2014 22:41

Thanks for tips wanda.

Today I was so proud of myself. Stood in the kitchen making spag Bol while H napped. Look at me a home cooked meal. Grin Then I popped open The jar of sauce. Face palm. Blush

Today H had bran flakes. custard for snack. Beans and a crisp bread for lunch. Yoghurt snack and cucumber and crisp bread for dinner. Wouldn't try the spag Bol or tea cake.

Oh and wanda I went and bought more nursery clothes today. So now they have enough clothes for the week each. So I don't need to worry about mid week washes.

Now I'm back at work I think I'll have a hot meal at work then just a small meal at home. So that's one less thing to worry about. When mil goes I will prob make fh a few currys at weekend for the week which she does most the time.

Lily311 · 07/09/2014 08:05

Hello qm. Is it wrong that I've been calling you like this in my head for ages now? Did you read my mind?

gt I cook at the weekend for the whole week. So I just take out a box in the morning and it's defrosted by evening. It's easier for me though as it is just the two of us so I don't need to do huge amount.

Hello fatima and jims.

We had my goddaughter's birthday party yesterday and my sister-in-law announced she was pregnant. Felt very very jealous Blush. Obviously I'm happy for them but blimey I want to have another one too.

O's sleep is better, she had 12 hours last night. Night light was the solution, she couldn't find her Brunyo in the dark but now problem solved.

Oh and I just washed her autumn/winter clothes, I love that it's getting cooler now.

kyz waiting for epic post

BigPigLittlePig · 07/09/2014 14:35

Hmm everyone busy today?

I was drunk last night Blush on sambuca shots Grin Grin Grin

Thank god dh got up with the kids this morning, I felt rough. Still, we have been out for some fresh air, blackberry picking, and had a late lunch (roast pork) so am human once again!

PetiteRaleuse · 07/09/2014 15:51

We've been for a woodland lakeside walk and picnic also including blackberry picking. Lovely day here.

Lily311 · 07/09/2014 18:09

Went for a Lego day in the morning and fish festival in the afternoon. Busy but fun day

YellowWellies · 07/09/2014 18:45

We had an autumn walk in the woods at Falkland then lunch out. Nom.

If anyone's in need of new autumn / winter clothes - Tesco F&F have got some good clearance items. I've got J 12 vests, 2 tops, 2 jumpers, 1 hat, 1 hoodie, 4 pairs of trousers and 5 pairs of socks for £59. Combined with 4 lush jumpers from the John Lewis sale, new boots from Next outlet - that's him done for winter. Unless its a really wintry one then he'll need a snowsuit too.

Almost wishing I knew what sex the baby was so I could kit them out too!

QuicheMama · 07/09/2014 19:09

Lily that is very sweet Smile

QuicheMama · 07/09/2014 19:10

I am not very good at keeping up at the moment, sorry.

BigPigLittlePig · 07/09/2014 21:13

I got Fs winter coat off a fb selling site - M&S, gorgeous deep purple and super warm, gloves attached to the sleeves - for £3! Collected it this evening and she insisted on wearing it (over her shorts and vest top) wih the hood up all the way home.

Love a good bargain Smile

Plus. When Sainsbury s have their 25% off, it usually precedes an end of season sale, where stuff is at least half price - have used this well!

YellowWellies · 07/09/2014 21:53

Oh crumbs a lady on my October bus has just had a stillbirth at 36 weeks after baby's movements stopped on Thursday Sad Sad Sad Sad . Am really itching to evict this wee scone especially with the higher stillbirth risk from diabetes in the last few weeks. Next Saturday is 34 weeks and frankly I'd happily meet him / her anytime after that.

PetiteRaleuse · 07/09/2014 22:04

Oh no yw how sad :( I can't imagine it.

Passmethecrisps · 07/09/2014 22:07

That is the saddest thing yw. How awful.

StuntNun · 07/09/2014 22:20

Do they know what was the cause YW? It's an awful thing to go through. One of the ladies on our thread had a stillbirth at 36 weeks as well, due to high blood pressure, but she quietly left the thread without saying anything.

OP posts:
BigPigLittlePig · 07/09/2014 22:29

That's awful, so sad. I was too paranoid to be on an antenatal thread (too much knowledge of the bad bits of pg/childbirth does not a relaxing pregnancy make) and something like that would have had me bawling Sad I think the lady was v brave to post her experience, not sure I would have been nearly as courageous xx

YellowWellies · 07/09/2014 22:46

Stunt really? Oh Sad Sad Sad

Passmethecrisps · 07/09/2014 22:56

It is just awful. Might pop upstairs and have a wee hand hold

YellowWellies · 07/09/2014 23:15

On a more upbeat note we halved J's daytime omeprazole dose this weekend with a view to ending the daytime dose next weekend - and he is totally fine. We might try to totally wean him off it by his birthday. Eeeeeek.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 08/09/2014 00:46

Been up for an hour with a grumpy J. Not good. He stayed over at grans yesterday and slept from 8 til 12 then 12.30 til 6.30am so he is capable of more than a few hours at a time. My surgery is this week so I'll revert back to not being able to help at all. And my BP is up again.... Cos I'm a mess when I walk thru a hospital door!
