He came home just before 11. The dog was barking and barking so I let him in and went back to bed. I assume he's on the sofa. He's sorry I'm upset but he doesn't really understand why. I wouldn't have minded him staying out if only he had let me know. I was waiting for them to get back here so I could have my dinner too. It was lovely as well, I made homemade barbecue chilli sauce and cooked chicken drumsticks in the sauce in the slow cooker then finished them under the grill to crisp them up. Because they had been in the slow cooker they were sooo tender. And I had made fresh bread to go with them. So now I have a fridge full of beer and leftover chicken.

I've put an update on FB too. What gets me is that he thinks I'm so unreasonable for being pissed off with him.

Have started a thread in menopause if any other old folk want to join me there.

Pizza and rosé night in the PR house. Mine is goats cheese and honey. Yum.

I have sweetcure ham in the slow cooker nom nom nom.

I had a huge homemade pie and bread and butter pudding at a country pub for lunch. Getting take away curry once the girls are in bed. I'm going to pop!

Pizza and chips here, sadly no as on nights at the moment.

We had Herrons Country Fried chicken after an hour or so splashing at the beach. Though I don't like fast fried chicken food so I had a chicken burger which was nice actually. And rose.

And off to leave DH in peace an drink wine with SILs.

Have reordered my female multi bits and am going to ask DH to keep a crazy scale log! (Re earlier post)

pr it was called Tissington pie and was basically slow braised beef with a Stilton mash topping. The mash was all crusty, hugely stiltony and basically the reason I had the pie. Been craving stilton but not supposed to have it although I did have a bit at the wedding on Saturday as their wedding cake was a cheese cake so would have been rude not too.

Got to go, bil and DH have just arrived with the curry.

I thought Stilton was allowed Eliza. It classes as a hard cheese.

Oh my god, seriously. Luckily I haven't avoided it completely but bloody hell I would have eaten a lot more of it.

Oh and DH has asked me to warn you all that cows are more deadly than dogs. Don't ask......

We had thai curry, it was DH's night to cook and unfortunately he really didn't cook it enough for me (chicken rubbery) so I put it back and cooked it longer. He had also forgotten we had Thai rice so did basmati which just wasn't the same. I hate feeling ungrateful but it was a real disappointment!

Pretty busy here as you can imagine. I am trying to keep up, honest.

J has green slugs coming out of his nose so sleep has been somewhat fitful.

I will keep you updated on specifics on FB but safe to say, I am a very happy VQ. Everything is coming together nicely thank fuck!
