Not glastonbury is it?

Envy on new sling. Beco air looks a good bet for camping. Lightweight and foldable.

Quack he is so lovely Smile

I'm supposed to be going shopping with MIL tomorrow. DH has both children all day including putting them to bed. Its going to rain. He's shitting himself already working out what to do with them Grin I may turn my phone off

Nope not glastonbury. If I'd realised this was glastonbury weekend I would have booked our camping trip for a different weekend, it was pretty much guaranteed to rain Grin.

I'm excited about the new sling, I think it will be good to have one which packs up small to stick in my handbag or the bottom of the buggy for when DD wants to be carried. I still use the ergo occasionally but if we're going out for the whole day we need a buggy, even if only to carry all of our stuff Blush.

Juniper when you count Dd's main pushchair, her old pram we haven't got around to selling, the Maclaren in the car, and the one that lives at my parents' house, we may also have a bit of a pushchair problem Blush

On the other hand, my current car is an Xreg Focus thats holding on by the rusty bits. My children have better rides than I do!

My micralite twofold is standing folded up in my kitchen. I can't quite bring myself to sell it because its too lovely but I don't actually need it anymore, I bought a bjcmgt as its more practical. And dh has an old all terrain thing in the boot of his car. We don't need it. But I still want it. But there's nowhere for it to live really.

Can you all tell I'm fannying about on here rather than doing anything much as the only child I have reponsibility for today is asleep? I did stir myself to renew the home insurance but other than that my internet history is showing Mumsnet, Autotrader, Cracked.com, and back again.

Might make a cup of tea in a minute...

Quack we've been looking for a buggy or pram for DS to play with - he adores the one they have at nursery - but everything we've found is much too tall for him. What have you got!

Doing much better now, we have arrived at the campsite and it is perfect for dd, there isa duckpond and a field full of rabbits, her two favourite things. We had fun getting her to bed though.

Loving the pushchair obsessions Grin we have 4, 3 of which are broken so technically just the 1 which is a mothercare 3 wheeler (2nd hand) as DP refused to spend any more money on them

Love it Quack

Impressed Cupcakes. LO drank loads today then weed on his bedroom carpet the moment I took his nappy of for bedtime. Then he came out of the bath and did two small wees in our bedroom. Then when I picked him up for a cuddle as I was kneeling down he did one massive long wee all over my jeans!

Hi ladies

How's everyone doing? Hope everyone's well :)

I lost you again... We're moving next week so frantically trying to declutter/sort/pack. The flat is chaos! But there are lots of boxes for dd to destroy climb into/take things out of/hide! Very much looking forward to moving into a proper house with a garden and more space :)

Quack Dexter is so sweet

Hi Bunty! Good to see you

Salt did you decide anything about your house? Having just gone through selling and buying I would say that you'd be surprised what you could get for your house (depending on where you live of course, but think you're in London aren't you?). I was sure my flat would be down-valued by my buyers' mortgage lender, but the bloke doing the valuation just asked me what the agreed price was and that's what he put on the form. But then again I know other people whose places have been down-valued by lenders. It all seems to be really random and depends on the surveyor and also how much the buyers are borrowing and therefore what the lender's risk is. Ask a few different estate agents what similar properties to yours they've sold in the last 2/3 months, how many buyers they have at the level they've valued yours at, what their fall-through rate is, and haggle on the fee. You could pay for an independent surveyor's valuation but often they use land registry data that's 3 months out of date anyway so not always accurate and probably not cheap either. Property seems to be worth what people are willing to pay for it at the moment. Sorry, waffling and boring on!

Tugs, that's exciting, good luck with the move, your DD is a cutie, I've just logged onto desktop and viewed all the pictures, we have a handsome bunch don't we!

DD is taking these temper tantrums to another level, and has now started banging her head on the floor. There is literally nothing I can do to calm her down when she is in full swing, she doesn't want to be cuddled or even touched, I have to just sit close and wait for her to calm down then she comes over for a cuddle.

Here's a piccy ...

Ah lolli your dd is super cute. And she looks very at home on that tyre! My DD is a headbanger as well, it's a bit disturbing and the other day she actually got a little cut on her head on her forehead from bashing it on the floor :(

Glad the move is on again tugs, though packing sounds awful.

Bit of a self indulgent post here. I hate how things are at the moment. My job is horribly stressful and going quite badly. I feel like I'm doing a rubbish job and the situation is impossible anyway even if I wasn't. I'm working for hours every night after E is asleep. In the week I am always either working or sorting out the house or putting E to bed. I am still up all night. I can't remember the last time did anything just for myself, like exercising or having a long bath. I don't spend much quality time with Ellen and almost none with DH. This is not how I want to live my life Sad

I have absolutely no idea what to do. I think I should get a new job but don't know what. I don't have to work but I can't imagine being at home long term so I don't know that just stopping now would be the best idea. And I don't think I'm really cut out for being a SAHM.

I realise that I'm lucky to have choices about all this, so I shouldn't really be complaining.

What should I do?

BuntyCollocks · 30/06/2014 21:10

Hello tugs! she is GORGEOUS! As is lolli's little pet lamb - love that she's in a dress on a tyre - C is like that. She's a total tomboy but loves a dress.

glorious I think maybe test the waters in terms of a new job. What do you want, ideally? How can you accomplish it? I'm not cut out for SAHM either.

Oh Glorious that sounds really tough. Any way you can take the family away for a week or even just a weekend? You sound like you need a break badly.

All these little girls and boys look so lovely. They are growing up fast aren't they? Here's Dan with his latest obsession

I LOVE these pictures Smile Smile

Juniper my DS was obsessed with those tracks and trains, he would play with them for hours, not so much now, if you want any more feel free to pm me your address and I will send you some trains and tracks, or anyone else that might like some too!!

Bunty, that totally sums up Darcie, she is quite girly but is a total tomboy, just like me! To be fair she was at a wedding and probably the only picture I have of her in a dress

Glorious, it sounds like work is taking over your life at the moment, time for a change. Can you find something part time, or even full time of you want bit with less pressure, a job where when you finish at 5pm your can just forget about it until the morning?
says me who has been ordering flowers for the past hour, and was invoicing until 11.30pm last night Confused
