Cupcakes he looks so happy!

Here is Munchkin. In his "new" (ebay!) pjs. I love ebay. All his "designer" stuff comes from there. I think I paid less than £10 for those pjs :)

What a clever and gorgeous boy, Cupcakes!

Sending you many thoughts and hugs Salt, glad you are keeping in touch.

The wedding was great, thanks guys! It really was everything we could have wished for. It poured with rain most of the day but I was totally oblivious, the sun came out in time for pics around 4pm. LO was naughty though and wouldn't go to sleep in his buggy so my mum took him home about 9pm bless him.

Sleep has gotten awful again I don't know if it's molars or increased brain activity due to learning speech. He wakes frequently in the night then just refuses to go back to sleep. Nothing works: not shush pat, not singing, cuddling in our bed or his, milk, Calpol Shock

DH is out tonight so I think I'm just gonna go to bed in a bit! Work is really busy at the moment too Glorious I have a feeling it may be to do with election year! I try really hard not to take work home with me as a rule but I actually worked most of last Saturday, felt guilty for LO but it helped clear a few things off my desk.

I've had some fantasies about going pt or SAHM but I think that's mainly cause the weather's nice and I'm jealous of everyone else going to the park! Oh yeah and LO has now decided he likes nursery so much he refused to leave today and eventually I had to prise him off his key worker kicking and screaming in a complete reversal of the early settling in days! Confused

Words! We have:
"Ah-ah" (=hello)
"Bye bye!"
"Ssssshoes!"
"Abook!" (Never just "book")
"Ma"
"Dada"
"Mmmm-mmm" (when eating almost anything)
"Baa baa" (black sheep)
"Wo wo" (wo your boat)
"Duco" (=cuddle)
"Woof woof"
"Raaaar!"

So proud of him, even though noone but me and DH understand!

Ooh bed sounds good!

When i picked ds2 up on sunday we got there early and went to play in the little park by the campsite. I stupidly took Ivy down the steep, 'bumpy' slide, was too heavy so basically flew off tge bumps, landed in a heap and have a majorly bruised tailbone and thoroughly dented ego Dp keeps calling me a wimp as i have to sit funny as it still hurts Blush

trying again with pic

Look at them!! apple/bubba Ivy's hair is amazing! Molly's just started following DD1 to the hair drawer and helping herself to a hairband then trying to put it on... doesn't last though.

Same with teeth. Copies every last action apart from the actual brushing...

fourlegs what a cutie with his rosy cheeks! Love the PJs and cucpakes love the pirate outfit!

There's no getting away from though I'm afraid. We don't have babies anymore.

Lovely to hear from you Newbie.

Got a TMI question for you guys. Does anyone else's baby just do soft squishy poos? I thought by this age they'd be doing logs which would make potty training easier (not yet obv but in time). LO always does v soft poos though which are messy to clean up - should I be worried about this?

Report
OohQuack · 21/06/2014 22:26

I feel very much in a position to advise today meringue. I let him have some naked time after the park and was rewarded with a small loggy soft poo, so cleaned it all up. Then he farted, laughed and delivered shit loads of more soft but loggy shit. I think it's cos they eat correctly and drink loads, I'm really not sure!! All I am sure of its amount now

Bubbas/Apple how is your tailbone? Not too sore now I hope.

meringue can't really help with the poo I'm afraid - DS veers from constipated to loose due to gaviscon / slowly trying to reintroduce dairy.

DS has lurched from one tantrum to another today. Utter nightmare. DH hasn't had a day off in over 2 weeks so I've been holding down the fort and am slowly going crazy. Doesn't help that I failed to re-order my anti-depressants on time so have been going without since Thursday and am really feeling the pressure now. Oh, and DS has decided that he would rather sleep in our bed now.

MsBug · 22/06/2014 20:17

Sounds like hard work cupcakes, I'd have a vodka if i were you.

dd's poos are still soft, although that may be related to the fact that she lives mainly on fruit.

glorious sunny weather here today, we've been out in the garden all weekend. I am starting a vegetable patch.

Ok that's a relief he's not the only one. Will stop worrying.

LO is really trying my patience tonight. Refusing to go to bed. Keeps climbing out and I keep putting him back Angry
