Ooh Inge to start a new thread. So if the last one was the one where they don't sleep, then they'll start to sleep now, yes?

I go back to work next Weds Kitty. DS started properly today. Full day today, tomorrow and Friday. I've just done a lovely yoga class and am using the next few days to have lunches, get hair cut etc. miss DS though. Sad

pear definitely want to hear all TTC details! I'm beginning to accept that I will do it all again but not yet!

A little tip pear, don't have a bath before, a shower fine but if had about 3 whereof have to have it redone because there was insufficient cells, spoke to a doctor by chance and she mentioned baths are bad as they can strip the sides, no one wants one let alone 2

peardrop2 · 18/09/2014 21:10

I had a shower but then I always have a shower so I think it will be OK. Went a lot better then I remembered...maybe cos I've had a baby Blush

It's not an empty bus! I'm here! I have been ill all weekend though & then had to deal with people messing with my toddler group again. We were a bit low on staff so the decision was made to cancel the group & go to the park instead. Fine, except that this decision was made by someone who wasn't going to be there, before some of us who were had a chance to say we'd cope & with no thought to how far away the park was or how we'd let people know! Only 2 of the 12+ parents we usually have joined us at the park. Sad

In other news, AF started yesterday, exactly 28 days since the random 'mid-cycle' bleeding started so I guess that was a random AF-reboot! Absolutely hideous period pain today though. I've had a couple of moments that were scarily similar to labour contractions - had to stop talking to DH on the phone for a moment! I used to get them quite bad as a teenager but I've not felt faint because of it for many years! Fx it's just things settling back down after the blip but I'll get myself along to the GP if it lasts long! I can't even take anything for it - aspirin/paracetamol make me queasy & ibuprofen tablets leave a weird taste in my mouth. Nurofen are the only ones that are bearable but we've run out! I've put the DC up for quiet time in their rooms & am curled up on the sofa with chocolate! Wink

Weird about the bath thing kitty Good advice.
Glad all went okay pear
Poor Agnu Sound miserable. I used to get terrible cramps and light-headedness as a teen but not since being on the pill, which I'm now back on anyway.

Toddler definitely keeping me busy. Independent little man, no longer wishes to hold hands walking (which is fine) and will not be fed. Must use own spoon/fork. We generally give him finger food anyway but his Weetabix and yoghurts are on spoons. We've been letting him part feed himself and part spoon-feed him but he won't let us anymore. Also getting fussy with food which isn't great. Molars also causing huge issues, including puking all over DH last Thurs Blush

Eek! We've not had any teething-induced vomiting but Runt's being a nightmare at the moment. He's really fighting his naps during the day. He slept for 20 minutes today before waking up screaming. He's screamed almost constantly since, only occasionally being distracted by youtube videos on my phone. Usually youtube is our last resort & works instantly! Not helpful on top of my health today! Sad And my neighbours are having a stairlift fitted on their side of our wall. Tis very inconsiderate. How dare they have serious health issues which limit their mobility?! I'm consoling myself with the idea that one day I'm going to buy a lottery ticket & then I'll win & buy myself a nice little woodland where the only noise will be the birds & I'll get a gun license so I can shoot them if they get too enthusiastic. Grin Or maybe that money would be better spent on consulting an expert about my hormones...!

What? What sale? How did I miss this?

Ahhh well done Frus!

OK here is a ridiculous far fetched dilemma for you girls. Yet another mummy friend has told me she is expecting. This 2 year 10 months gap malarkey is very fashionable. So, my DH is friends with her DH. My DH will be shocked by the news because he thinks every other man is like him and wants to take his time with baby making bla bla. So, should I tell DH in hope that this might spur him on? Or do I keep my mouth shut in case this adds unnecessary pressure to him? He doesn't do well under pressure. Dilemmas!!

peardrop2 · 26/09/2014 19:24

P.S I'm close to the time to get a move on Wink

AGnu · 26/09/2014 19:31

Tell him... but in a "isn't it amazing how fertile some people are?" sort of way. It might make him want to prove how fertile he can be too! Wink

peardrop2 · 26/09/2014 20:58

Have told DH in a v v casual way. He didn't say much...annoying Grin

Give it time to sink in pear... It'll niggle at him... Maybe! Grin Do you really want 2 birthdays so close together? I timed both DSs so they were fairly evenly spaced with our birthdays & Christmas! Blush

peardrop2 · 26/09/2014 21:42

No I really don't think I do Agnu Hmm Timing is not great. That's why I've been thinking about holding off until December when I would then go guns blazing for a sept/oct baby. On the other side I don't want to get 2015 and find it hard to fall pregnant...I would kick myself Wink Plus a Sept baby means a 2 year school gap and I'm not sure if that's ideal either?!

kittykatsforever · 26/09/2014 22:11

Pear it's the mid season next sale tomorrow, starts at 7 so much more respectable but there will be hardly anything in I do t think, it's not one of the big ones but I'll still go because I'm clearly addicted to shopping
I wouldn't give the gap and thoughts, life doesn't work like that, the best layed plans etc dd1 was conceived In dec btw and born 31st aug! ( she was due 21st sep) just keep subtly at it what will be will be Grin

peardrop2 · 26/09/2014 22:20

You're right Kitty. What will be will be. I've really got to stop thinking!

peardrop2 · 26/09/2014 22:44

I won't going to the next sale. Saving pennies that I don't have Blush

peardrop2 · 27/09/2014 06:31

How can I stop bpear waking at 5????? I just want to sleep until 7 for one day Hmm He naps for 1.5 hours in the day. Should I give him a beaker of milk in the evenings as well as bm? Would that make a difference? I can't handle hearing that some people get to sleep till 7am anymore stamps feet
