Sounds fab wanda.

Yep, I would support anyone's right to march and I don't believe that the matching alone is harmful. Round my way though sectarian issues are intrinsically linked to poverty and disenfranchisement as many of the loudest voices and heaviest fists are too young to remember the troubles.

Glad the cough is starting to shift vq

PurplePidjin · 25/05/2014 11:36

Idiots getting drink and feisty wrecks lots of otherwise-useful stuff Sad

Sunshiney here today. Been to Sunday School and off to a local car show with the folks later :)

Passmethecrisps · 25/05/2014 12:13

Without a doubt.

Dreich as dreich here but lovely day had so far. DH have me an exta hour in bed and since then we have had a big breakfast and are now sorting p's bedroom finally! We have only just taken down the Moses basket which has been sitting in p's room for over a year! It took all of 10 minutes.

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 12:47

Well done Pass. You deserve to put your feet up this afternoon Grin

Passmethecrisps · 25/05/2014 13:08

Well quite!! Grin

The rest of the house looks like a shit tip but p's room is a lot better.

I have taken pics for posterity as I would give it one week before it is entirely back to previous form

ChasingDaisy · 25/05/2014 13:35

It is XP's birthday next week. He failed to even get me a card from O for my birthday. I was thinking of just making a handmade card with O for him - will that be sufficient do we think?

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 13:49

Chasing that would be perfectly lovely.

Passmethecrisps · 25/05/2014 13:54

I think hand made cards are gorgeous.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/05/2014 14:17

More than sufficient chasing :)

GTbaby · 25/05/2014 14:51

5c is a coloured one right wanda? What colour did you get?

Chasing sounds like a lovely activity for you and O to enjoy. The secondary product being a bday card Wink

Pass room looks fab. H room is always a mess with nappy boxes stacked up. Poor A is still in with us.

ChasingDaisy · 25/05/2014 15:06

Handmade card it is. Nice Bank Holiday activity for us tomorrow Smile

Oh, and I bought a ukelele yesterday. Playing it is soooo relaxing. I luffs it.

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 15:33

Not a bank holiday up here Hmm

GTbaby · 25/05/2014 16:03

Went for a long play in the park today. Fh took a ball for H. Lots of walking. H fell asleep in car. But transferred to bed and still took him 45mins to fall asleep. Trying to wake him now. He keeps shaking head and turning back to sleep. He has done a poo. Need to get him up! This boy can be very frustrating.

Wandathewindfairy · 25/05/2014 17:02

I got a green one. I love it. And I got a green leather case. Cos I am so green and all.

ChasingDaisy · 25/05/2014 17:22

Y'know those wooden puzzles, where the pieces fit in the holes? O has a 12 piece one. Today he took all of the pieces out, jumbled them around and put them back one by one, in the right place, with no mistakes. And with accompanying words/noises for each one. He's a genius, right? Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 25/05/2014 17:26

Yes chasing phone mensa :)

Seriously that's pretty impressive. You are right to be proud. My two are shite at puzzles but not surprisingly as most of the pieces have been eaten by the dog or are under the fridge :o

I have a blue iphone. It's pretty.

GTbaby · 25/05/2014 17:27

Chasing Shock I think he might be!
I bought him a jig saw. Will get it out. I'm really bad, I just think "ak he can't do that" lol

PurplePidjin · 25/05/2014 17:33

Fab afternoon. R scoffed a satsuma, half a dozen snack-sized crackers and half a scone for afternoon tea so only ate a few bites of sausage, some peas, a yoghurt and half a banana for dinner! And was asleep just after 5 Shock I was going to let him have a nice play in a warm bath but he howled and pointed at his bedroom after a couple of minutes

I luff my guitars, Chasing really ought to get them down and learn some new songs. I have a uke up there under the bed too, might have to give it to R. He's been utterly entranced the few times I've played to him :o Is 2 too early to start lessons? Hmm My mum has his name down for ballet at 3...

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 18:09

That is impressive Chasing Smile

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 18:09

I have a Cath Kidston IPhone and it is lovely Grin

ChasingDaisy · 25/05/2014 18:25

I have a boring white iphone 4. I must get a pretty case Grin

Pidj, the lady in the music shop said her child started playing the uke at 2 and at 5 now plays along to zingzillas.

Thanks. I know it was totally boastful and smug, but he amazes me sometimes. He's mastered shape sorters, stacking rings and cups, zips, buckles...He obviously gets his brains from me Wink

StuntNun · 25/05/2014 18:52

Ooh I haven't been on the thread today .

J did his 2 a.m. screamathon again last night. Confused The only suspect thing he ate were some chips from the Chinese takeaway. He's fine with the chips from the fish and chip shop so I'm not sure why these ones would be different? It's my last night of support from mum tonight so let's hope he's a bit more settled next week.

ValiumQueen · 25/05/2014 19:00

Stunt you really cannot risk anything when you are not sure it is ok for him.

Zamboni · 25/05/2014 19:00

Chasing's O is a clever boy!

Good work on rearranging stuff Pass - you deserve Wine!

Lush, lush weekend here. DC have been fab for DPs. Off to ikea tomorrow to choose furniture for S's bedroom.

YellowWellies · 25/05/2014 19:40

Stunt I bet they are fried in the same fryers and the same oil that soy containing foods are fried in and he was in pain from the trace soya. I wouldn't give J anything from the Chinese without assuming soy cross contamination. To be fair its so salty I've just assumed Chinese is out. I know its a faff but if there's not an allergy menu or you have definitely ruled out that cross contamination is impossible - its going to keep happening. Give him beans on toast on Chinese night maybe? Quick and painless for everyone.
