What's the deal with threads being closed? Is there a post limit?

I am soooooo tired today. Archie has been really unsettled the last few nights from about 4am onwards. Sometimes he's hungry, sometimes he wants to play, sometimes he wants his dummy. The last two nights he's ended up in with us as it's easier to replug the dummy, pat etc.
YAWN.

Aww toby :) Mine is today (I think). It was the day before bank holiday Monday and I had to blow out my work friend's 50th birthday pub crawl, without being able to explain why! I told DH who said "well done" before telling me in detail how he got the lawn to be stripey Hmm

TobyLerone · 28/04/2014 19:19

Ha!

I was naked when we found out. I came belting downstairs with a cheapo internet test strip with a very faint line on it, to ask DH if he could see it too. Neither of us were properly sure so we had to go out and buy a digital one.

anotherbitofcake · 28/04/2014 20:38

Ha me too Toby! When was yr LO born? Mine 11/01

TobyLerone · 28/04/2014 20:59

What a day!
Henry got his second set of injections, he was great. I had a massive period leak on the bus (there's a thread in chat) and now I've been invited by my next door neighbour to a Pampered Chef party next Friday night.
I've never spoken to her beyond saying hi, but there was a sweet cars posted through my door with my name on (from the Christmas card I sent) explaining what happens at a PC party, that there was no obligation to buy anything, that she'd love me to come, and giving her number. She put on there that if i cant make it hopefully we'll catch up another time. She also said i can invite a friend.

the thing is, i don't know anyone who will be there. Money is tight, is PC good? I would feel obliged to get something, can spend about £20, and i don't know anyone.

what are people's thoughts. Should I go?

TobyLerone · 28/04/2014 22:37

I think it would be nice to go. I've never been to one, and usually avoid people in general that sort of thing like the plague, but most people are more sociable than I am!

Perhaps start another thread in chat about what to buy/avoid? Hope you're feeling much better now, after your traumatic day.

MrsVDB · 28/04/2014 23:36

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 29/04/2014 03:16

How did you find out?

TobyLerone · 29/04/2014 03:47

What a cunt Angry

Gettingthroughthis · 29/04/2014 03:56

I suspected she had sent him a birthday card (early April) as gave him presents and thought it was strange no card. He left his job on friday so I checked his work bag and she'd given him 3 cards. 2 juicy Lucy ones about preferring him with no pants off and holding his willy and one lovey dovey one. Cuntpuffins

TobyLerone · 29/04/2014 04:00

Ffs. So definitive proof, then. I'm sorry :(

Gettingthroughthis · 29/04/2014 04:17

AMillionNameChangesLater · 29/04/2014 07:36

What a fucker getting an absolute fucker. Do you have people around you?

Gettingthroughthis · 29/04/2014 08:04

Yes kicked him out. He's coming to get his clothes today. We can do better than him. Dick. Never hated anyone so much in my life. My parents are on holiday until Friday but once he brings back my car today I'll probably drive back to see my friends. Need to see solicitor and protect me and Henry

TobyLerone · 29/04/2014 08:11

Don't interact with him. In fact, I'd put his clothes in bin bags and leave them outside for him. That way you don't have to see the utter shitbag at all.

Naturegirl82 · 29/04/2014 08:44

getting I'm so sorry you're going through this. He doesn't deserve you or Henry.
