We have quite a range of ages and they each develop at their own rates... so what can your toddler do?

I don't think you are allowed to do the shred on Sundays. It's the law here.you supposed to gobble up all the chocolates on Sundays. You bad woman. Yes, you, sophia.

Got my girl back, she is such a happy girl.

Pikz · 09/03/2014 18:51

Sophia I use toddler as a weight in the shred!

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 18:53

I are a whole bar of Lindt today. Now contemplating a whole garlic baguette with my dinner. I am a piggy.

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 18:53

Ate*

Obviously.

PurplePidjin · 09/03/2014 19:03

I had chocolate and wine for dinner last night. I had frozen pizza just now. I really cba of an evening at the moment.

PetiteRaleuse · 09/03/2014 19:06

I've just spent 5 minutes staring the fridge wondering whether I cba to open a bag of salad. Soooo tired this evening.

What I really want to eat is cheese and crackers. But that would involve effort too. I think my takeaway adventure has made me lazy.

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 19:08

I love cheese and crackers. Only ever seem to eat them at Christmas though. Bloody love cheese.

Zamboni · 09/03/2014 19:10

chasing you go for it amateur, I could inhale that for a starter, rueful look at belly

Lovely day in the Devon sunshine today with evil and N! Now snuggled with S who is knackered by all the fresh air and walking the boys did but is not yet drifting off.

Understandable PP, I can never be arsed cooking for just me when DH works.

YW yes, it can be - S just coming out of a really clingy phase but now loves his key worker so much he cries leaving nursery GrinHmm

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/03/2014 19:10

And thus chasing I conclude you are actually a bar of Lindt. If you ate the whole thing!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/03/2014 19:12

I had, for supper, which was yum, homous on ryvita seedy, topped with med veg it was heavenly.

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 19:14

Sophia, stop shaming us with your healthiness Wink

One Day is on tonight. Think I might treat myself and stay up to watch it.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/03/2014 19:33

Ha ha. I have given up bread for lent. Wtf. Well, I couldn't give up wine, I don't eat enough chocolate for it to be worth it, so bread it is. So I was trying to find something with yum factor which wasn't bread based. I suppose it means I can't have pitta then either?

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 19:44

Pitta bread. Clue's in the name Wink

ChasingDaisy · 09/03/2014 19:48

Crumpets?

Evilwater · 09/03/2014 19:57

I just want to thank all you lovely, wonderful people for the box of goodies.
I'm still over whelmed, and can't thank you all enough.

n and I had a wonderful time with zamboni at the zoo. N has gone straight to sleep an hour earlier, as he is knackered. I'm glad S, had a great time too!
Massive hugs to all.

Evening all :) Oooh only 10 pages to catch up on today. I should know better than to not post for a couple of days! I have been reading though just pretty busy! I lost the 1.5lbs I needed to lose to make it to 1st lost in total on Thursday, so as I promised myself I had my hair cut yesterday as some of you have seen on facebook, I feel lots better :)

Pikz I get the same thing here, E is pretty big and people assume he's about 2 or so, so should therefore know more than he does and perhaps not drop to the floor like a slippery eel and wail when I try to lead him somewhere etc and he wants to go the other way.

Thanks Bplp I know you wouldn't mind and stuff it's just I get halfway through posting and then think 'pshh, stop complaining so much, you silly girl'

pr I often get the same these days, I just can't help it. I think i've gone reeeeallly soft in the middle since having E. Also to answer your question, E calls me 'mama' and a couple of times has called me 'mummy' which I like. He means mummy when he says mama but hasn't bothered to try to pronounce it properly until the last few weeks

E is a size 6.5f, he was a 6f the day after his birthday and has stayed at that up until a couple of weeks ago.

I know it was Thursday pp that you said it but you are not a shit mum, not at all

Glad your FIL is ok after his op apple hope he's in less pain soon. big hugs to you too, hope you're ok xx

I have the 30 day shred still sat there unused and will get round to it soon. I will. I bloody need to!

glad you got referred for your coccyx fatima

good luck with the nother job vq :)

good luck to you too jj

I've got some of e's artwork up on his bedroom walls, I love it. I am soppy and sad and he loves to draw so it's plastered all around his room. He has also painted pictures for people for birthdays too when he wants to :)

glad the car issue is covered by the warranty sophia

glad it's just a cold r has pp

hope your DS is ok soon stunt

ah pikz sounds like you need some Flowers and hugs

lily MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I also love milk

fruit she doesn't sound like a nice little girl at all :( I didn't think they got malicious etc until a bit older

Hey det happy birthday to your ds1!

lol vq Grin

yw e has taken to crying when people leave the room too, or go out. He is getting quite upset and had a few tears when we let the dogs out for a wee earlier, silly soul that he is!

It's been lovely here today and we took E to a local 'lake'. I don't know what it is actually, but it's nice and lovely and with green fields and e has thoroughly enjoyed feeding the ducks, geese and swans, and having a wander around :)

Sorry this isn't a complete catch up, i have a thumping headache, back tomorrow or later if it goes away

Passmethecrisps · 09/03/2014 20:49

Aloha!

Blimey. Is it Sunday night already? That should be illegal.

Anyway.

vq your misadventures made me giggle earlier on. I am glad I am not the only one who does stuff like that. How so the sugar mice taste? That is what matters at the end of the day!

I am very impressed by all this shredding going on. I am the world's most lazy woman I think so I am genuinely impressed. I hi-5 myself if I iron and count how many calories I have burned.

We spent the day tidying and generally trying to sort shiz out in prep for pil who arrived earlier and will be staying tomorrow. They aren't staying with us but are going to be looking after p tomorrow to give DH another day of work. They arrived at dinner time and p was completely hyper. She didn't know what to do with herself and as absolutely lovely as my mil is she doesn't do calm. Everything is high volume and high energy. By the time it got to bedtime though p had decided that her grandpa was where it was at and insisted that he carry her up the stairs. Much to his quiet delight.

Outside loving babies. How do you stop them eating stuff? P was having a rare old time rampaging around our garden earlier but she kept trying to eat the stones from under the fence. Should she not be past the 'everything in the gob' stage? I can't take my eyes off her. She knows she shouldn't as well as she ran away from me sucking her cheeks in because I was trying to get it out!

And you know how p was saying "mummeee"? Well now she flat refuses to say it. DH and I are both daddy. But he is better.

Oh. And I think I have a work dilemma. I might Facebook. Not sure. Hmm.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 09/03/2014 20:49

But it is so flat and not fluffy and mouth wateringly smelly, of bread. Oh well. Ryvita is is. I can' tog back now I have said it out loud.

Crumpets are more like a puffed up holey pancake really aren't they?

PetiteRaleuse · 09/03/2014 20:51

Glad evil and zamboni had a nice day at the zoo. Looks like sunny days were had by many! Loved your pics on FB kyz , I hope your headache goes soon x

Passmethecrisps · 09/03/2014 20:52

Crumpets are 90% air so I reckon that you will actually burn calories while eating one. True fact

PetiteRaleuse · 09/03/2014 20:53

Pass do you remember last summer I posted on the thread in a panic as DD1 was using her finger to scoop a garden snail from its shell and into her mouth? I think the babies are past putting most usual things in their mouths but soil, leaves, grass and snails are just too tempting I think :o

NewLisaLife · 09/03/2014 20:56

Not been in here for a while Grin
Charlie-James is now 15 Months now and still not walking Hmm

We get a few little words

He loves the word bye bye and all gone. Also shouts his brothers names and yeah Grin

Passmethecrisps · 09/03/2014 20:56

You are probably right. She did an excited dance and pointed while pointing at them. They are stones!

YellowWellies · 09/03/2014 20:59

Jonas gobbles gravel whenever we're out in the garden.... Angry gardening is soooo relaxing these days!

BigPigLittlePig · 09/03/2014 21:03

Fab day, even allowing for cling-on baby. the sun definitely helps!

Glad you had fun Zamboni and evil - sorry I wasn't able to join you. Hope your boys sleep well tonight.

Have just a constant knot of anxiety in my belly atm, dhs job is up for review this week and he may lose it. Equally he may not, but I am a worrier.
