We have quite a range of ages and they each develop at their own rates... so what can your toddler do?

And Boden, VQ Wink

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 13:17

I am off to Aldi shortly. Not posh. Might buy another caramelised onion quiche. Just to see if it has a filling in this time you understand.

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 13:17

I had a dress from Boden for DD2 once. Via a charity shop.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/03/2014 13:30

Ok so I have shredded. It was ok despite DHand Ds1 manning around in workwear outside pointing at me I didn't do it with weights as I wanted to see what it was like but I will next time. So how does it work? I do it every day? Or what? (I even jumping jacked, thinking well, if I wee it is only at home. But I didn't wee. )

Thinking we should try and do a quiche clink tonight for lily do you think we can coordinate?

BigPigLittlePig · 08/03/2014 13:49

Liking the sound of a quiche clink, count me in!

What a beautiful day, feels like spring is finally here.

Lily311 · 08/03/2014 13:55

Most definitely.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/03/2014 14:16

If one was to make their own quiche it would be freeze able wouldn't it. I came across a great tip for quiche making yesterday and want to tray but think it would mean making multiple quiches!

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 15:21

Book People deliver worldwide? Oh no! That's my freelancing money down the drain then :)

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 15:23

pidj I'm happy with how I fed the babies don't worry. When I was pg I was sure I'd bf I didn't realise my phobia would include my own milk :o

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 15:25

soph I don't have weights so used shampoo bottles. I also closed all the shutters so none of the neighbours could see me :o

I think you're supposed to do it every day but I am just doing it Mon-Fri.

We've just been to the park. First outing without coats of the year. It's gorgeous weather. I love spring. I'll be moaning in a few weeks when it gets hot though.

BigPigLittlePig · 08/03/2014 15:29

Hot? What is this hot of which you speak?

Am pinned on the sofa, looking longingly at the cloudfree blue sky Envy

Zamboni · 08/03/2014 15:47

Me too VQ, from eBay and from my vair posh friend who hates any kind of clutter and had sons older than S. Almost his entire wardrobe is hand me downs of better quality than I would ever purchase myself Grin

Lovely day here. DC running around our teeny garden laughing at each other. Washing on the line!!

Def up for coordinated clink later, might send DH to Aldi for their lush prosecco then... Which he doesn't drunk, and which I cannot waste! Haha!

PurplePidjin · 08/03/2014 16:27

definitely up for a clink!

r had 1 new next babygrow purchased the day df came home from hospital. all else is supermarket charity shop or gift!

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 16:47

No clinking here once the kids are asleep I have to work as I have two deadlines Tuesday and Wednesday. But I'll be there in spirit.

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 17:28

I managed to pick up a few long sleeved T shirts from Sainsbury's in their sale yesterday. £1.20 each. And some joggers for £2. All for J.

fruitpastilles · 08/03/2014 17:30

That's brilliant news lily so pleased for you!

We went to see sil today, dp isn't very close to his side and I don't like her very much for various reasons. She has a 7yr old dd who is the most spoilt little girl I've come across, she was playing with S and when S toddled over to sit on dp's lap I watched as she purposely stuck out her foot to trip her up, I didn't get to S fast enough and she ended up with a huge egg on her head and also a graze which must have been from the carpet. I've never been so angry in all of my life. Dp didn't even say anything to her Hmm she knew I'd seen her and ran upstairs crying. Sil said, "ahh call her down because she thinks she's in trouble" she didn't tell her off or anything. How can a 7yr old be so spiteful to a baby?

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 17:31

I'll clink my glass of G&T minus the G. Pass was it you who recommended that pregnancy tipple? Ta to whoever did! PR Great to hear about the freelancing! Smile Ps my earlier comment was Shock at how little advice people receive on delactating (is that even a word?!) and end up doing stuff to inadvertently boost their supply and wasn't a comment on BF vs FF!

We've just had a lovely blustery dog walk on the beach. And spent nearly £200 on painting stuff in B&Q Shock but are now both too knackered to do any painting after bedtime as we had planned.... if we can sand, sugar water and polyfilla the walls I think that might be all for tonight. And by 'we' I might mean DH Grin ...

Jonas' head bump is a bright purple lump the size of half a crème egg today Shock

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 17:33

Fruit what a little bitch!!!!! Shock

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 17:35

I know yw :)

The irony is I knew the shower was stimulating the milk but I couldn't cope with not showering.

fruitpastilles · 08/03/2014 17:36

I know, that was the worst thing she did, but there were a few other minor incidents aswell. I've never really disliked a child so young but she really is vile.

ChasingDaisy · 08/03/2014 17:51

Has anyone been watching the coverage about the missing plane? I'm watching ITV news at the moment and feeling sickened by the press shoving cameras into the faces of terrified relatives. I'm sure I'm perpetuating this by watching the coverage, but fgs have some respect.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/03/2014 18:03

I am sorry I have had to wine o clock Wine and thus an
M ready to clink whenever.

So I will start with a massive clink lily I am so pleased for you and O.

I have a Glass of rosé, am cooking hairy dieter chicken bhuna, and got mn. What else would a girl need. Grin

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 18:08

Betsy is in season. Wipes tear... my pups not a pup anymore! Soph that sounds epic! PR I totally got the wrong end of the stick I thought you were doing it to get rid of milk!!!! Confused

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 18:15

Chasing just seen the news Sad when I lived in HK I was often shocked by the news coverage - showing vivid footage of murder victim's bodies, road crash fatalities etc often before they'd been identified and family informed - in such a rush to get the scoop there was no respect for the family. Mindst our media hacks the phones of the dead and would probably publish similarly ghoulish footage if they could.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 18:34

No just to get myself clean and stop the smell. :) I didn't do anything to slow the milk this time just let it happen as ff was upped. Last time it was medically stopped as I was in hospital for my stomach and they wanted me as comfortable as possible and I was freaking out enough without needing to stress about that too b
