We have quite a range of ages and they each develop at their own rates... so what can your toddler do?

You're welcome Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 00:35

Mixing squash and old milk must be illegal. It should be.

In reception at school and next year (year 1 now I think) we got milk at break. I was put in the corner every day for refusing. Banned from touching the rich tea biscuit that went with it.

But Thatcher Snatcher stopped milk. And then I got my rich tea with squash.

I'd still vote labour.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 00:38

:o piggy i'll get my revenge for that.

Anyone any experience of ingrowing toenails?

BigPigLittlePig · 08/03/2014 00:50
Envy

Pass the sick bowl?

FWIW I have personal manky experience of ingrown toenails. Put off having them dealt with for a very loooong time!

BigPigLittlePig · 08/03/2014 00:51

PS.

Fucking jabs. Bastarding reflux. Whenever F lies down she retches. Perhaps pass her the sick bowl, thinking about it?

GTbaby · 08/03/2014 01:05

Yesterday h dragged As car seat across the room to my feet. When he got to me he stopped and looked up at me "baar" (out) he said. I fell about laughing. So fricking cute. Normally he brings his jacket over. But I'd put them away.
He also starts saying baar when he sees his shoes. I was hoping he would wear them at home to get used to them. Also he seems to walk more with shoes on. But I can't be dealing with the tantrum when he realises we aren't going out.

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 05:48

PR now I saw the lack of having to see milk, make up milk and wash up milky bottles as the distinct advantage of BF. Once your past the first few days where you leak I've literally not 'seen' or had to handle milk in 16 months of BF!

Zamboni · 08/03/2014 07:40

I'm a bit milk phobic too. Don't like it or anything obviously milky. Did not loathe milk leaking from me too much, managed to BF a few months with each, hated the smell of formula and have to try v hard not to vom if milky burps occur during cuddles. I saw someone at an airport tasting baby formula and it made me gag. Eeeeeeeeee-yuck.

Sense of smell amiss BP? POAS time?!

In growing toenails? After yeas of agony had mine done just before Xmas. Still healing but is no exaggeration to say I could snog the chap who fixed me. And he is the opposite of young and hot. Wink

Lily311 · 08/03/2014 07:49

It's international women's day today. Might as well just received a birth certificate with the correct surname and father's name on it Grin. I'm dead proud of myself. Battle is not over yet but I am on the way to win it all.

Zamboni · 08/03/2014 08:04

Congratulations lilyWineThanks

PetiteRaleuse · 08/03/2014 08:45

Oh my poor aching body damn Jillian Perfrect Shredded Abs ow ow ow.

yw that was the lt advantage but I was literally howling in the shower with leaky boobs at not being able to get it off me ever. I was coming out the shower and going back in 5 minutes later.

GTbaby · 08/03/2014 09:33

Oh lily how amazing!
I also have the shred DVD. Need to start doing it.
And since pil leave tomorrow. Did you know that? They are going tomorrow! Wink I can do the DVD without worry of them walking in.

Going to work tomorrow to talk about the new 6th form which starts in sep. my dept might have to teach an a level in sep which has not been the plan. So only 6 months to plan and I'm on mat... So will have to do it while off. Well will see what happens tomorrow. But I'm then going to lunch with a friend. Woop woop child free time.

Argh my turn in shower. Must dash.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/03/2014 10:50

Brilliant news lily Wine Thanks

I will start the shred with you too everyone, I may try today seeing as is on YouTube. In the playroom. Blush

YellowWellies · 08/03/2014 10:51

PR going into a hot shower is about the best way to stimulate milk production - no wonder you could never get rid of it! Cold wipes (simulating a dead baby Sad ) are what would slow it.

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 11:24

PR we could have held your hand Thanks haven't quite forgiven you for the link you sent me about failed sterilisation yet

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 11:24

Great news Lily. That must mean so much WineThanks

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 11:25

I love milk. And quiche. And J. He is fab.

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 11:28

Have spent the morning clearing DD2s bedroom. All furniture dismantled. All toys packed away. All clothes squeezed into DD1s cupboards. She and DD1 are going to be sharing a while so a Daddy can decorate and she will be getting a big bed Smile End of an era Grin Need to go to Ikea to buy some drawers next week. Malm white. I love ikea too.

PurplePidjin · 08/03/2014 12:09

Lily that's fantastic, such a huge achievement Thanks

PR your reasons for feeding your babies as you did are yours and yours alone - they are thriving and happy and that's all that is important.

VQ wow, that's a massive amount! I've just done a Waitrose shop, wandered round the market and bought some cheap stuff at a baby sale - 18-36 grow bag for a fiver, size 5 wellies for a quid, size 5 clarks shoes for £2.50 and Boden cords for £2

R is down for a nap and friends are on there way for lunch Grin

PurplePidjin · 08/03/2014 12:09

*their Blush

Lily311 · 08/03/2014 12:19

Lily311 · 08/03/2014 12:32

applepieinthesky · 08/03/2014 12:38

Awesome news lily Smile

We're sitting here waiting for someone to come and collect a bed frame I sold on ebay. Hope they turn up. Then we are off out to get C's slide and sand/water table. Need to get grass seed and a lock for the back gate too.

ValiumQueen · 08/03/2014 13:12
