Sorry I've been quiet, knocked by the virus and busy with the babes!
How is the situation now agnu? Any better? Do you want us to beat her up? Please don't avoid her/going it will only escalate the situation or make you anxiety worse with the fear of what will happen/be said next time, rip off the band aid, I'm abit unsure why she directed it at you too if there are people that clean there ?

bringonthetrumpets · 08/03/2014 23:50

I'm on the same page as you pear It's selfish and just gross. Why, why do people not consider these kinds of things?

That is quite odd, frus Hope the poor little eyes clear up soon. It's so unbelievably contagious, it could have been from anywhere. Do you really think it's CP?

Hope you're feeling better kitty I think Spring is in-sight! Finally!

M keeps knocking herself in the head with the TV remote Hmm Seriously, kid. It's hurts. Just stop!

Frus ~ did you get any gardening done? I'm going to ask PIL to babysit soon so that I can get on with gardening. I'm annoyed how little nothing they help me with grrrr Confused

Lorelei353 · 10/03/2014 11:02

AGnu we haven't heard from you in a bit. You doing okay?

Teething is killing us here. DS has been really unsettled for about 2 weeks with it. His second front tooth has cut through but it's really bothering him. THe last two nights he's had a temperature and now he's started grinding his teeth when settling to sleep which is really putting my teeth in edge. I'm knack erred. Going out with work colleagues tonight so hopefully I'll get a nap in later.

Oh, in other news, remember my cousin who had a baby at 25 weeks? He's home from hospital! Doing great. They kept him in until about 2 weeks past his due date but he's doing really well.

bringonthetrumpets · 10/03/2014 14:22

Aww pear I know the feeling! It's my own parents who don't give a rip damn about my kids and wanting to spend time with them. My MIL would swim across the Atlantic to see them and hitchhike to our house if she had to. We have to skype every weekend with her so she can see the kids (which I love despite my grumbling. She's better than my own mum). Hopefully your in-laws will take them so you can work on the garden. You could always try wearing baby pear on your back too.

Sad Lor poor little mites! I hope you get a night off soon. I wish I could just send you some Instant Sleep In A Bottle (lord knows I need some!). We've been battling the same thing over here too. I feel delirious with the lack of sleep I've been getting. I can't believe I am actually able to function and work in these brain-conditions. I shouldn't be allowed to drive let alone be responsible for kids

M's womb-personality is definitely carrying her through life. Coming a week past her EDD, and then plowing through in just under 3 hours... waiting to roll until after everyone and now is trying to cruise around the living room... and no teeth until she turns 8 months and is cutting her 3rd tooth in a week! What do we have to look forward to next? Not talking until she's 3 and then speaking in complete paragraphs?

Or knowing the latin name for a fossa at 2.5 bring? Have I mentioned Calf is unusual...?!

I'm doing ok thanks Lor. It's been a tricky few days to get through but I'll live! The nice weather over the weekend helped! We skipped church yesterday & did our own little 'service' at home instead! It was great fun, although Calf did spend most of it wandering over to his toys every 2 minutes! We spent pretty much every available minute out in the sunshine for the entire weekend! I even went so far as to bring out the picnic blanket for Runt to sit out on the grass! We've just bought Calf a wheelbarrow so he spent 2 days straight wheeling it up & down the garden with various sticks/stones/mud in it! Soo cute! Grin I'm feeling 'meh' again now that it's cloudy here. Am seriously considering moving to the Sahara desert. It's always sunny in the desert, right?! I may actually be a lizard!

I was wondering how your cousin's DS was doing! So glad he's home now! Smile

Runt is whingy & clingy & crying when we give him food. I'm assuming it's teeth & he's struggling to eat! Poor food-substitute boob baby! I only feed from one side & it's getting really sore now! He's feeding from me at least 4 times a day - it used to be 2 until the teething happened! Now he just wants to comfort feed & chew! Hmm We've also just moved him to a cot after he fell out of bed! DH put him down as normal but he obviously wasn't sleepy because he proceeded to wriggle over the towel-barrier & push the pillow-barrier onto the floor, taking himself with it! He screamed. And fed. Again. So we made the decision to put him down in the cot at bedtime with a view to moving him onto the bed when we went up. The first night he really didn't want to settle & then woke & screamed at 3am. Second night he settled better & waited until 5am before screaming & then last night he didn't disturb until 7am & only got upset when I left the room for a moment! I guess it's good that he seems ready for that extra independence but I miss having him next to me! I kinda liked being woken in the morning by a little hand tapping me on the back!

bringonthetrumpets · 11/03/2014 12:42

That's awesome that your family had your own little bible study. Why not study outside on this great earth that God built rather than inside a building that man built? (I'm secular, but that's what I would imagine if I believed in a God...).

Yikes, I think every single one of my kids have managed to fall out of our bed no matter what the precautions are. M hasn't yet but I can see it happening eventually. Hopefully you and Runt can find the balance between snuggling and cot-time.

So, I just wanted to share with you all the ridiculous text I got from my mum last night:
"Hi Ladies {me and my sisters}. Just want you to know that if you are even THINKING maybe of coming to our house while we are in Florida you need to let Linda know. She's packing heat and said she will use it if she needs to". FFS woman! I haven't been to their house since November, I have no flipping clue who "Linda" is and people don't say "packing heat" unless their in a flipping cop movie! Also,my mum lives in the middle.of.nowhere, not in a really dodgy part of the intercity projects so I don't understand why someone would be carrying a handgun around in the countryside. Oiy. My mother is NUTSO.

Bring I think that's the most bizarre parent/child msg I have ever heard Shock who is Linda I wonder??
Agnu we had a picnic too Grin not quite warm enough but the kids enjoyed it so much
We have had to lower the cot, Madame has learnt how to pull up and I have officially stoped feeding Hmm

AGnu · 11/03/2014 21:59

Sooo "Come to my house & my mate'll shoot you" - always a lovely text to get from one's mother! Grin Nice of her to warn you though! Have you asked why she thought you'd want to go there when you knew they weren't around? Will Linda shoot you if you even THINK about going there?

AGnu · 11/03/2014 22:04

Linda! Grin

bringonthetrumpets · 11/03/2014 22:48

I know! Right!? Thanks mum. Love you too. Glad you've told Linda who I am incase I show up so she won't shoot me Hmm Only in the great ol' US of A, right? Also, my sister is supposed to dog-sit our brother's dog who is currently at my parent's house so she's had to pre-approve her arrival for Wednesday so Linda won't shoot her! And, that folks, is an example why I am not going to FL with her Grin I texted her back saying "I'll make sure to stay away from your house and your gun-wielding friend"

Ohhhh, how does it feel to be done kitty? 9 months is great! I dream of the day that I can have my body back. I love nursing, don't get me wrong, and I know I will SO sososo miss it when we are finished....but I am so tired of someone needing it all the time. 2am feeds aren't all that fun these days.

When is the UK's Summertime start? We just had our daylight saving time last weekend and it's so glorious to have light at 7pm again!

I feel sadHmm but we really wernt doing it much anyway I could tell I hardly had any in them and I was only doing it once aday. When I go back to work in a few weeks I have to leave before she wakes up so that's it! I'm not bothered about her having formula now as another month or so she'll be on cows milk it's just that bond that's hard to let go but I still get snuggles. I just don't feel done with kids do you know what I mean! My friends just fb announced no4! She's the only one I know with that many, infact apart from you guys everyone I know stops at 2

peardrop2 · 12/03/2014 14:30

Aww kitty you've done really well to get this far (I know you know that but I'm just reminding you Wink). I have so many friends that have stopped at 6 months. It must be sad to stop when you don't completely want to. Do you ever feel ready to stop?! Such a close bond. Nothing can replace it. What lovely memories you now have Smile

I'm slightly panicking that I may have to stop. Bpear is really hurting me. Bottom two teeth are through (ages ago), top right cut through two weeks ago and now top left is visible. His latch is really painful. I hope it's a phase but I'm also worried that his bad latch is the cause of the arrival of the top teeth Hmm Anyone else experienced this and does it stop or is this a sign the end is near? Sad

peardrop2 · 12/03/2014 14:33

Kitty ~ is there absolutely no chance of no3 for you then? How does DH feel?

I hope so Frus. I wouldn't like it to be the end. Sorry you've had a long boob day Thanks

Bring & Kitty ~ how's the constipation going? I've decided to take matters into my own hands as the doctor told me things would improve when bpear started crawling. Well, bpear has been crawling for weeks and there has been nooooo improvement. So I went to the health shop today. Picked up a bottle of prune juice and they suggested I gave a sachet of priobotics in water a day to strengthen his gut or something?! They also suggested massage. Anyway, I've stopped giving Lactolose. I'm going to really work on giving him more water during the day, prune juice at snack time and the Priobotic sachet (suitable for babies). Praying that things improve as I really don't want to stop administrating Lactolose for his sake!

peardrop2 · 12/03/2014 22:05

I mean I really want to stop giving him Lactolose
