Pear I feel tired a lot too and I have atleast 8 hours sleep every night! I think kids just suck all the energy out of you Confused
It's very normal I find to feel like you can't be bothered, I usually add don't want to get drunk as can't have a hangover and get up early too, I do find once I'm out though I usually have a good night, hope you do to
Sorry Agnu but I think my party's have always had those types of things and definatly fruit shoots lol what child doesn't love them?! You'd get looks of disgust if you just brought out water surley??

bringonthetrumpets · 01/03/2014 20:45

Kefir is kind of like yogurt except that it's a drink and has different cultures mixed in.

Oh kids love water at my house b/c it's the only drink I have for them here!

Teehee! I totally would have done the same thing too agnu and frus. Bad grammar drives me bonkers. mn doesn't count obviously

I hope you have a good night pear. There are night where I just feel like going to bed instead of putting on make up and nice clothes that slightly fit. You're not alone, mama!

Went to the science museum this morning and saw about 50 different kinds of dinosaurs at a new exhibit. These are the times that I really like having little boys b/c they are so into dinosaurs and I love learning about that stuff. The OMNI movie that we saw scared the pants off of M though and I had to nurse her through the whole thing. She's probably going to have bad dreams tonight there goes my chances of sleeping

Frus ~ since bpear has been sick he wakes twice in the night demanding food (1ish and 4ish). I think it's a bit of a shock to the system and my body just finds it very hard to adjust, I've started sleep training again tonight in hope that he returns back to waking after 5am (although DH messed it up whilst I was out which doesn't help the situation Hmm).

Thanks ladies, I did have a good time despite feeling extra tired from it all, especially now Shock I think I need to try and go out again soon so that it doesn't feel so alien to me next time.

peardrop2 · 02/03/2014 04:53

Bring ~ I love the sound of your science outing! I can't wait for that part when they show interest in something like dinosaurs!

kittykatsforever · 02/03/2014 11:33

Bring tiger still likes water, infact it was the only thing she had for a long time and she drunk gallons, my friends nn her evion, but I think it was a party she first had a fruit shoot and would die for them, I don't mind at special occasions, feels abit scrouge to be like no the other kids can have all that stuff but your only allowed the fruit and water it's like a party with no bday cake!
I can't wait for those older outing either, I can't wait to take them to the natural history museum and Disney land

AGnu · 02/03/2014 11:35

Woohoo! Runt slept through! Must've been something like 12 hours! Rather better than the previous night where he didn't settle until 2am & Calf woke us all at 5.30! I hate being away from home! Poor Runt barely slept yesterday during the day so he definitely needed the rest! Here's hoping that it's the beginning of a pattern & it rubs off on all the bus-babies! Grin

pear FWIW, I felt like that when I just had one too. I'm adjusting though! I'm a great believer in our bodies' abilities to cope with much more than we think they can! Smile Chin up, it'll get better! DaffodilFlowersDaffodil

Oh how I wish to see daffodils right now. We're still blanketed with oh...4ish feet of snow. Thank goodness it's finally March and hopefully the deep freeze will be begin to thaw soon. The sun is starting to actually feel warmer than before so it's a good sign!

Maybe I should make M sit through scary dinosaur movies more often? She slept through the night and now I've got a spectacular rack. Grin

I'm poorly! Been up since midnight feeling not quite right, now the toilet trips have begun, I think it's good poisoning in just waiting for the kids to wake up Hmm then see if they have it too Confused

peardrop2 · 03/03/2014 06:30

Oh kitty :( it's just awful. Could be gastritis. It's spreading like wild fire. What did you eat? Feel for you Thanks

I've been up since 2:30am because bpear is refusing to sleep in his cot and has been pooing and getting himself all worked up. I refuse to let him sleep in my bed now as he wiggles and can fall out and I just can't let that happen as I know I'll fall asleep Sad Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I had a chicken dinner that mil cooked to poison me? dh is ill aswell exactly the same and came on exactly the same time tiger has been sick once but still seems full of beans, kitten ok so far, I just feel like shit I really do Hmm

peardrop2 · 03/03/2014 17:38

Weird. My earlier post got deleted?! How odd.

Kitty ~ really feel for you. I hope you've got dehydration sachets in the house for a quick recovery?!

Oh Frus Hmm

bringonthetrumpets · 03/03/2014 20:12

Poor sick mamas. Hope everyone is beginning to feel better sooooon!

M is working extra hard to figure out the crawling. She hasn't figured out the forward motion yet, but she kind of gets around from belly flopping and then pushing herself back up to a sitting position. It's hilarious to watch as she practically goes into the splits trying to sit herself back up! She's made a wide arc around the living room in the last 15 mins or so.

Oh bring :-( Anything we can say to make it better? X

bringonthetrumpets · 04/03/2014 15:07

Hmm, a replacement? But I'm sure as they say, the grass is always greener on the other side.....

Running on about 3 hrs of sleep. Between M being awake multiple times damn teeth and dh's RIDICULOUS amount of snoring I'm exhausted beyond tears. I even packed up and moved to the guest bedroom at 3:30 b/c there was nothing I could do to make him stop making that DISGUSTING noise. not ashamed to admit that I videoed it on my mobile and showed him this morning, he called me cruel for doing that Hmm

How is everyone else?

Frus, just remembered the breakout on baby Frus's face. Did the second doc agree with it being coldsores?
