The wifi on the train was pants, so I really actually did work very hard and am gutted to have missed your comedic dance shananigans. (Predictive text wanted to change that to "shaman iguana". I am well-gutted if I missed one of those too!)
Well- ha ha. I just used "well-". I are a chav.
So, am at th'otel, just around the corner from Oxford St... Do I work , or walk? (Tha's got lovely weather down here!)
Walk, I think. I saved my sarnie off the train, so no need to eat out. Can work later.
Off I shop.
Pop. I meant "pop".
Wink

ifyourehoppyandyouknowit · 09/04/2014 16:43

Of course you meant 'pop'. I believe you!

I was thinking perhaps somewhere like Queens Park in Heywood for Fri afternoon? Weather is looking nice and we could let the little blow off some steam while we drink coffee?

Figster · 09/04/2014 19:37

Woops DS has a chest infection so antibiotics 3x a day. Feel bad I should have taken him earlier but genuinely until last night was a dry cough and since then all rattly chested

NorthernChinchilla · 09/04/2014 20:05

Oh no figster, hope he recovers quickly. Don't feel bad, you always said you'd take him on Thursday- you're better than me, I wouldn't have bothered for a cough

It has indeed been glorious down here Oi; both my Dad and I say it's the one thing that would put us off a move back up, losing the sunny weather. It was so nice getting home today and watering the garden whilst DS played with his water table, can't wait until it's warm enough to properly sit out.

QoC, as long as you have passports, swim stuff, money and a few changes of knickers you'll be fine! Hope it's a nice relaxing break for you- anything special to celebrate or just doing a family holiday?

DS didn't settle til 8.40pm last night, with screaming, wailing, having to be taken into another bed to be cuddled, wanting light on, wanting light off... Every single night it's story, cot, light out and done, he's been a dream for that, and now tonight he's kicked off too, DP is up there cuddling him now after the light on/off drama. Tool.

QueenofClean · 09/04/2014 20:17

Hope Figgyboy is better soon.

Thanks Northern it's just a family holiday. Hope it's relaxing tho. Just starting to sort things out and make sure I pack enough stuff to stop Darcie's anxiety and mine issues.

mopsytop · 09/04/2014 20:48

Hope figgyboy better soon figgy.

I have been a bit panicky. A few little drops of blood, cramps etc. around 6 but no more since and they were tiny. Bit anxious still but calming down.

mopsytop · 09/04/2014 20:51

Northern, Minimopsy was up until 9.30 on Monday !!! calling me, wanting milk, wanting stories, wanting songs, getting out of bed and running around her room etc. I eventually put on my pyjamas and told her I was going to bed at around 9.20, lo and behold she got into bed, chatted to her teddies for a bit, then went to sleep.

OiMissus · 09/04/2014 21:47

Shopping was dream-like! No Boi. No DH. I even got fitted for a bra! My bras have been killing me for ages. I thought with the post-breast feeding droopage, I was smaller. Seems I've actually gone up a cup. F f f f frickin awesome! They don't look like f's. I think it's more about the length now. Confused
!!!

NorthernChinchilla · 09/04/2014 22:01

Hope everything's OK mopsy

OiMissus · 09/04/2014 22:48

Sorry Mopsy, (me me me...)
Hope everything's ok and sticking properly. X

Aethelfleda · 09/04/2014 22:49

(((((Hug)))))) mopsy, hope you are alright.

Babylon 5 again, the computer graphics are holding up surprisingly well.... Shadows and dodgy telepaths!

And a few less work shifts for me this week, does the jury think I'll get the house any tidier? some hope

BobaFetaCheese · 09/04/2014 22:55

Red or brown blood mopsy? Fingers crossed for everything. X

Aethel, we're watching b5 too, although think we're further through, never seen it before, some episodes are dated and awful, others stand up really well. Kakeup still looks good!

Ds2, 8m, has had a cough for about 3 weeks. Thought it was down to sanding dust/sandstorm dust but think it's worth getting checked? No other symptoms and its not pissing him off.

Kri5ty · 10/04/2014 03:42

Big hugs mopsy, i hope it's all ok

figgy, don't feel bad - you'd prob only have got a Drs ap now anyway!!

God dam OH rant.... Yes at 3am!!

Saul was up4 times wed night (made oh get up once), so today i was shattered. Had to get car motd today
Got back at 9pm as a friend did it and i went for food with her
Saul had been sick all in his bed, so oh had dealt with all that (first time on his own).
When i came in i went to see him, had a temp of 38.4 so gave him some calpol, swapped to a short sleeved top. Also timed his breathing as it was fast.

Came out of room and nearly tripped over hoover, oh had left it plugged in, wire stretched etc right at the to of stairs. me "you could have put it away, stupid place to leave it". Him "oh ffs (snatching it off me), like I've done nothing tonight". Grumbling loads

I went to bed in spare room, he texts i love you in different languages. (feeling guilty forbeing a dick).

Anyway on the third time of getting up with Saul i shouted oh as sauls saying hes been sick again.

I strip bed, hear him go to check if the original cover is dry (its not) "ffs", "grumbling i can't make out, then hoover goes.

I sorted out clean sheets etc and gave Saul a small drink of water. Oh proceeded to put him straight in bed, so I took him out to make sure the water wasn't going to come straight back up. That set him off "ffs i can't do anything right, same thing every day. Stomps upstairs and grumbles away.

Maybe imbeing unfair, but its 3am, I've not slept in 2 days , i don't need this;

rant over!

Friday- if Saul is feeling better / I'm out of consultant early yes.

ooio do we have to talk about trains to London?! I've just started mat leave so i don't want to think about them lol xx

mopsytop · 10/04/2014 07:32

Sort of pink really Boba but no more so far... I also keep getting a sporadic pain like I'm ovulating on right side but it is just intermittent and not really bad so prob just usual stretchy cramps I hope! So far so good anyway...

PartTimeProcrastinator · 10/04/2014 08:00

Kri5ty he sounds incredibly frustrating, hope he's making it up to you today.

Hope things are OK today Mopsy.

DS has chicken pox so has been off nursery all week, he's been OK and not too itchy but now has quite a few round his eyes which are really bugging him so he's feeling sorry for himself today.

An old friend passed away at the weekend, she's been ill for a while and we knew it was going to happen, although still felt like a shock. She was only 28 Sad

Kri5ty · 10/04/2014 08:45

How far are you mopsy? Vaguely remember having that with Saul and mw saying it was things settling/ implanting etc. Hope everything is ok

As for OH, i was up again with monkey at 5, he fell asleep on his floor, so i lay with him. OH got up at 6 offered to stay at home (but he has loads of things to learn for next week, so i didn't really want him to). Then said, "I'm sorry, forgive me?". Not sure if he meant for last night, or for me having to get up again with monkey

mopsytop · 10/04/2014 10:15

only 5.5 weeks Kristy

Kri5ty · 10/04/2014 11:14

I was around that point when i had it. I just rang mw to make sure xx

Been at drs 2 hours. He has a virus, and bronchiolitis (again), they suspect he will have asthma but too early to tell. Gave him nebuliser, steroids and he's to have inhaler 4x a day.

Don't dare tell oh as he will think I'm saying "told you so", as he said he was only struggling to breathe as he was hot, and i was being ot counting his breathing!

Chipandspuds · 10/04/2014 13:45

Oh dear sounds like a bad night Kri5ty! I'd personally go with casually mentioning that DS is now having a nebuliser and steroids and if DH has any decency he will pick that moment to say 'sorry'! Grr annoyed on your behalf!

Hope you're okay Parttime. My friend passed away aged 23 and it's still upsetting even now 7 years later. It's just too young to go :(

Hooe you're okay too Mopsy?

Thank goodness my morning sickness seems to have eased off! I'm sticking with healthy food and I'll see how I go!

DS is so grumpy in the mornings at the moment as we put him to bed and he stays awake chatting to his teddies so he's tired! I think he's just going to have to figure that one out for himself!

Figster · 10/04/2014 14:26

Crap cm wants us to pick DS up I'm in London so 2 hrs away tried 5 people with no luck to get there earlier dh at work so have had to abandon ship and hope don't get slammed with a ticket. Just ran the length of paddington to get this train with mins to spare Hmm

Kri5ty · 10/04/2014 14:43

chip aww glad its settled down now! Although your name makes me want to have some unhealthy food mmm. Think I'll make a chip butty! Although i only have sweet potato's in, so guess it's actually healthy!

oh figgy have everything crossed for no tickets!

Figster · 10/04/2014 17:39

Picked up DS at CM he is absolutely fine he's been running around like a loon ever since I got home. Luckily the train manager took pity on me and didn't charge me anything.

He is currently stabbing me with some of his colouring pencils probably won't take him swimming tomorrow just in case.

OiMissus · 10/04/2014 17:59

At 9:45pm last night the cm texted to say they would have to close today. Like you fig, had to call around. Mum and dad drove back from their caravan to have him as I'm in London. I feel really bad about that!
Sorry to hear about your friend passing. 28 is far too young. Hugs.
(Sorry kristy, but I'm sat in the lounge waiting for my train home. ;) )

Kri5ty · 10/04/2014 18:18

Haha Vanessa, have fun on a Friday afternoon / evening eurgh!!
By the way if anyone uses them for leisure etc we now get 40% off advanced tickets x

Figster · 10/04/2014 18:30

I was a tool who forgot to take their laptop to London in their laptop bag I had been wondering why it had been so light all morning. Did mean plenty of chances to read my book rather than do any work. My friend has gone bonkers for the divergent trilogy so I thought I would have a go it's a bit tweenie but it's alright.

I think the thing that pissing me off most about PI L is that they say they want to help yet when you need them they never around so unreliable and then it makes me think about all the free child care my brother gets from my mum up in Scotland and we are stuck here paying big money a month which means we can't afford a 2nd child until DS going to school I'll be 35 by then!!! Poor dh will be 41!!
