Oh no why? At the last minute?

Donnadoon · 15/02/2014 11:06

YW Flowers yay congratulations!!
Dd still does not say any definate words :(
Any one else

PetiteRaleuse · 15/02/2014 11:08

You're kidding. Can your physicist step in? That sucks chasing :(

ChasingDaisy · 15/02/2014 11:42

Yep, last minute. Because of problems with the trains. Except there are no problems with the train he is getting. He just doesn't want to travel because some lines are subject to delays and cancellation Hmm I am pissed off and gutted in equal measure. My physicist would love to step in but it has to be my dad, unfortunately.

PurplePidjin · 15/02/2014 12:50

my friend 's village is out of power so it looks like they're camping in my living room tonight Shock should be wine felled funWink

StormyIsles · 15/02/2014 12:57

Bollocks chasing, how unfair. Dads are rubbish Hmm

I haven't even told mine I have separated from xp. My sister apparently did,but he hasn't so much as texted.

Lily your post yesterday had me in years too. I am so so sorry. All my ishoos are so insignificant compared with the heartbreak you have dealt with. Big hugs xo

ValiumQueen · 15/02/2014 13:26

Could your physicist pretend to be your dad?

FatimaLovesBread · 15/02/2014 14:31

Hi thread, haven't been on for a few days but loving that Isles is now using xp rather than DP you're doing fab, even if you don't feel it.

That's sucks chasing grr at daddychasing

We've just had our loan application for the car approved, yay! Decided to go through DHs bank as it was £45 a month cheaper for the same amount as the dealer would be lending. Now we can pick a car. Never bought one as a "cash buyer" before, only ever used dealer finance so don't know how much bartering we'll be able to do

PetiteRaleuse · 15/02/2014 15:48

Ooh what car do you want? Is February official quiche car buying month? This must be at least the 3rd in the last couple of weeks.

ChasingDaisy · 15/02/2014 16:12

VQ, we need to provide ID unfortunately. Although, he does worry that people look at us weirdly when we're out as he does look a lot older than me Grin

PetiteRaleuse · 15/02/2014 16:15

When I had my back accident the Doctors said to my DH that they didn't let parents stay over with children of my age. :o

I was crying like a child though.

ValiumQueen · 15/02/2014 16:30

Ha Ha PR. I bet he was chuffed Grin

Chasing, it is because you look very youthful.

J has been begging for a nap since 12.30 and has only just given in. He is a nightmare at the moment. Driving me potty.

Passmethecrisps · 15/02/2014 17:47

Blimey ! Been so long since I posted apparently I no longer appear on this thread with 'Threads I am on'

Passmethecrisps · 15/02/2014 17:58

Who was it asked about talking? For the record p has no words. Nothing at all recognisable or commonly used in context. She occasionally says things which sound possibly like they might be words but I am not convinced. She says "doh!" For cat or dog weirdly

ValiumQueen · 15/02/2014 18:15

Welcome back Pass. We missed you. How was the romantic break?

Passmethecrisps · 15/02/2014 18:18

And I missed you all!!

It was lovely - really nice. Delayed start thanks to some car problems but DH had booked me in for a facial and a back massage which was lovely

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/02/2014 20:08

Nice to have you back pass

Anyone ever watch Mercy?

BigPigLittlePig · 15/02/2014 22:17

Evening.

F is an april fool baby Grin

Chasing that sucks, gutted for you.

Evil I hope you and N are safe and dry.

Glad you had a good break, Pass. Welcome back.

Am waiting for the epic kyz post now..

Oh, we had 12 hrs from little pig last night! Whoop! Although has needed 2 cuddles already tonight...

StuntNun · 15/02/2014 22:50

Donna J doesn't have any words yet either but we're not worried because DS1 didn't have any until about 20 months then by 2 years he was on to short sentences. If they understand you then that is much more important. I said, "Pat pat the mummy" to J the other day and he gave me a funny look but then patted me on the head (normally it's Pat pat the dog) so maybe try something like "Bring me the book" to check that there's comprehension.

Donnadoon · 16/02/2014 02:03

Thanks Stunt and yes she follows instructions perfectly " bring me the book" " time to get your coat on" etc

Lily311 · 16/02/2014 04:40

I had a very busy day yesterday involving some drilling and visiting families than even managed to go out for a drink with a friend from primary school. We stayed over at my parents', they are just so happy to babysit for O. ,ainly because she sleeps :).

Not sure what the plan is for today, my father is snoring so I can't sleep. I might go shopping with O.

Sorry chasing about the audition and that I didn't reply properly on whatsapp! just been busy all day really.

ValiumQueen · 16/02/2014 07:28

DH gave J his breakfast yesterday and this morning. First time since he was born. Great, except he also gave J his meds. He does not have meds in the morning. Has not had meds in the morning for about a month. He has been told. I was even talking about it last night. Grr!
