Willyou i hope he runs up to you as well.

Beasty A was brilliant climbing on that video. H is also a climber and shes also a jumper its a nightmare sometimes as wellConfused

I made bacon and egg omelettes in a muffin tin this for dinner they were a huge success with H and my Niece Smile

They sound good Hales.

He climbed into the shower when I was doing DD's teeth (it's quite a step up). He just wants to climb everywhere now. And his walking is really coming on.

We seem to be getting lots of words now too. But he still doesn't know DD's name because she still keeps insisting she's called something random.

WLmum · 07/01/2014 20:11

Sleep seems to be coming our way at last _ last night T went 8-5 settled her in the cot at 5 and she went til 6.40!! Amazing!

halestone · 08/01/2014 00:48

FX your all sleeping well tonight. H has just gone down after waking at 11:10 but she has all of the bed and i have a tiny bit. I really have to find time to sort out lowering her cot so sleep training can commence!

Hurrah for sleep, wl (and others, judging by how quiet it is at night on this thread.)
Thanks for the advice re boobs - I am rubbish at hand expressing and had given our pump to a family member as we didn't use it anymore, so gave O a bit yesterday morning on top of the bottle at 5am, and they are so much better already, 24 hours on.

I spent yesterday wearing a real bra again - hurrah! (Simple pleasures, me.)

SpottyTeacakes · 08/01/2014 06:40

Glad your boobs are feeling better utopian Smile

We're off to Southampton general today so dd can see the physio followed by the neurologist. Then when we get home dp has got to pull the floor up ready for our new carpet tomorrow (I'm a bit excited!Grin)

WLmum · 08/01/2014 06:58

Hope all goes well at the hospital spotty and hurrah for the new carpet. One of my ny resolutions is to sort the house out a bit.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/01/2014 07:05

Same here! Along with:

Shouting at the children less Blush
Making more time for dp and I Blush
Being more frugal Grin

R slept through sunday (6-5) and Monday (6-6:30) then last night had water and nappy at 3 and is still asleep Shock I'm tentatively thinking he's cracked it as this pattern of 3 days has repeated a couple of times now and was similar but over a longer period before that... His day naps are shit, 20-30 minutes in his cot, but i can live with that if i get consistent sleeping through :o

Barbeasty · 08/01/2014 07:52

Sleep? What's that? Sleep is for wimps.

I think it's teeth. It better be. That was a bloody awful night- looking at the clock at midnight and knowing that even if he miraculously went to sleep right then I'd be getting 5 hrs, not good (and he didn't sleep for a while after that either! )

And so much feeding. Probably wasn't but it felt constant, and was getting to the point where it was really irritating and made my skin crawl. But if I managed to unlatch him there was screaming.

Here's to a better night tonight, and to not falling asleep in my all day meeting...

SpottyTeacakes · 08/01/2014 08:05

Breastfeeding aversion beasty?

We've hit traffic and we're only at Portsmouth. Seems there's been an accident.

FriendofDorothy · 08/01/2014 08:28

I am feeling better now that we have dropped the morning feed. The Little Mister still isn't amused that when he comes into bed in the morning he now gets given a cup with Moo Milk in it, but he will get over himself!

Barbeasty · 08/01/2014 10:54

More middle of the night, no sleep, been feeding for over an hour and need to change the latch to allow for new teeth aversion!

I think it's the fangs and molars making their move. Add that to 5 am starts and you get unhappy baby and mummy!

halestone · 08/01/2014 11:32

Beasty i hope those teeth come through soon and that you can get a better sleep tonight. Thanks

Spotty, i hope all goes well at the hospital.

H has woke up with a cows lick this morning, it is very very cute. And i never use that word.

I have a spare amber anklet if anyone wants to try it. R's ankles were too skinny so i bought him a necklace. No guarantee it works but i daren't take it off to check...

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/01/2014 15:56

Afternoon all!

Hope you get some sleep tonight Beasty. We have rosy red cheeks here too.

Jamie loved nursery - behaved like an angel, ate everything, joined in with every activity going. They said you'd never have known it was his first time. I really missed him though.

Today is mummy and Jamie day. We've been to the park and then to baby singing.

Eventful day today. My sister (28) has just found out she's 4 ish weeks pregnant with a little surprise baby. She's just about to start a new job and thinks it's the end of the world. She'll come round eventually but is still in Shock. Her boyfriend only moved in 2 weeks ago. She's been quite a critical authority on our parenting so DP thinks it's hilarious that we'll get to get our own back!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/01/2014 19:39

Dd went fine at the hospital, back in a year. My turn to go to hospital tomorrow Hmm

Ds had pizza for dinner (home made!) and loved it. Dp has gone too football training and I think I might have to go to bed soon!

WLmum · 08/01/2014 20:04

beasty you are sas material! Hope he settles down soon and that you get some sleep. I know just what you mean - although I love bfing the human dummy bit has been physically irritating.
spotty glad hospital went ok.
willyou glad nursery went well and your bil will get to eat his words and you and DH will enjoy it! My bil has been a bit frowny about ours having tantrums etc - can't wait til his ds starts. Mil always thought ours didn't sleep through the night as I bfed but dn and her gdn have both been bottle fed and not slept - how I smirked!
Next in my glamorous life is an evening trip to tesco!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/01/2014 20:08

Oh WillYou glad j enjoyed nursery. And yay to bring an auntie! Practice your knowing smile when they speak of how their baby will sleep through, eat well, be left with anyone etc etc Grin

WLmum · 08/01/2014 20:15

pidj now that T is sleeping through at night, her daytime sleep has really reduced. Yay but boo!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/01/2014 20:32

I know, only this weekend aw told me J only cries because I pick him up when he does. If I don't pick him up he'll learn not to cry apparently. I don't really want him to learn that mummy doesn't care if he cries or not!

Crap daytime sleep has equalled lovely bedtimes here. We've been done for 7:30 the last 2 nights.

Barbeasty · 08/01/2014 21:31

Glad J liked nursery.

A was clingy at nursery, refusing to walk or be put down. They checked his temp several times and it finally went up just before home time to 38.3. So calpol before bed and fingers crossed! she says hoping it's not him who's waking up

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/01/2014 22:41

Fx for you Beasty.

J's started paddying today. High pitched screams if he doesn't get his own way. I'm ignoring as best I can in the hope that it's a phase that passes quickly

WLmum · 08/01/2014 23:32

I just fb'd the photo I'm using for the girls Xmas thank you notes. Dd1 is quite put out that she has to write the notes and the others don't - being 3 and 1 is no excuse! (Dd2 will write her name and T would gladly scrawl all over them given half the chance).
