Theflouncingfairy sound brill. I'd just be fruityflouncer v boring. I've just ordered my dinner, very annoyed at dp, but I feel like I can't say anything as he is at the hospital visiting his brother. He said he would be back by 4 as apart from when we had to take S to the out of hours he hasn't seen her all week, she's been asleep by the time he has got back from work. He has half a day on a Friday and visits his brother, he's been in hosp since June. I hate feeling like this knowing I'm out of order for it.

misslaughalot · 08/11/2013 18:39

I could be missflouncealot.

So Littlemisslaughalot is only allergic to peanuts. They even tested her for cows milk allergy due to the reaction on her skin when she's had it on her cereal but it came back negative so I'm more confident in giving to her again which is good in preparation for giving up bf in the new year. We're getting a referral for skin tests so that they might give her an epipen in case she ever has peanuts again prays to a god that I don't believe in that this never happens

And thank you to whoever it was who mentioned the NSPCC letter from Santa, so sorry I can't remember who! It's such a lovely idea and I've just ordered one.

YellowWellies · 08/11/2013 19:06

I could be FlouncyWellies Smile

I have had a lovely birthday. DH got me a dress I'd nagged for and a proper Sarah Lund jumper! My sister made me some fab new cushions for the lounge in funky fabrics to go with the new colour scheme I've planned (must get on with redecorating). The bear got me some biker boots and 2 hours falconry experience Smile (I luff owls and birds of prey). Sadly we've no baby sitters (the joy of being a twin!) so we're having a Chinese and Wine .

But, and this is proof I'm getting old, the two hours professional house clean (a pressie to myself) was a highlight of my day Grin .

PetiteRaleuse · 08/11/2013 19:18

I think pidj linked to a santa letter for a stroke charity.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/11/2013 19:19

yw happy birthday! I seem to have missed that in all the day's excitement.

Lily311 · 08/11/2013 19:21

I am baby free tonight. Feels weird. Washing machine, dishwasher and grey's anatomy on. My parents took O, I'll pick her up tmrw eve.

I ordered the Santa letter too, thank you chasing.

Happy birthday O, A, and yW.

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 19:38

Happy birthday yw how was the cake?

YellowWellies · 08/11/2013 19:41

It tasted lovely but his attempt at icing writing looked like the font from Nightmare on Elm Street or some other slasher movie! In DH's words: "I thought the icing would be a breeze but it looks like it was done by a ham fisted chimp" Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

PurplePidjin · 08/11/2013 19:49

They're the only support we've had

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 19:55

Haha it's the thought that counts, and at least it tasted good.

Passmethecrisps · 08/11/2013 19:56

Good job mr wellies. Personally, I think ham fisted chimps have game when icing cakes.

I am husbandless as he is off out. P is getting better at self-settling but what's all this rot about it taking 3 days?! It's going fine but I was hoping we would be further down the line. On the plus side I did get all the laundry folded and put away while waiting for her to snooze.

Am not essentially clock watching for when it is an appropriate bed time.

YellowWellies · 08/11/2013 19:56

I think that'd be ideal for my wee nephew who's just lost his Grandad from a series of strokes.

Passmethecrisps · 08/11/2013 19:58

Ha! So! Looks like p's cousin is getting a letter from Santa for Christmas then! My sister will love that and it's such a great charity.

ChasingDaisy · 08/11/2013 20:01

Yep, that was me with the NSPCC letter.

PetiteRaleuse · 08/11/2013 20:13

Thanks pidj Im going to pass that on to a few people.

applepieinthesky · 08/11/2013 20:27

Happy birthday yw Smile nice to hear you have been spoiled.

It is absolutely pissing down with rain here so my parents dropped DP back to work when they brought C home. I told him I would pick him up when he finishes at 9. C has been awake past 9 for the last few nights so I didn't think it would be a problem but he's fast asleep on my lap! Typical.

Thanks for the link pidj I'm going to order one too. I have dealt with the Stroke Assocation through work before and they are such lovely people.

GTbaby · 08/11/2013 20:36

Who the fuck is flounce! I keep thinking mac mac mac.... Still don't get it.

ValiumQueen · 08/11/2013 21:12

applepieinthesky · 08/11/2013 21:41

I don't get flounce either

YellowWellies · 08/11/2013 21:59

Flounce's wee man was born on Halloween, he's had trouble sleeping and with food allergies, she's Scottish and is due an op next week. Come oooooon Smile

ChasingDaisy · 08/11/2013 22:06

Ooh I love this game. We should all do random name changes and play guess who Grin

PinkSpottedPJs · 08/11/2013 22:24
