*how

Zamboni · 08/11/2013 14:02

Haha fatima - that is a rite of passge. DD ate a snail once, from the garden when we were gardening. Couldnt get it out in time. Although the look on her face was priceless.

lily well done for coping. And they're fuckers for doing that to O.

pumpkin listen to the wise folk who have been there and survived it, is my view.

misslaughalot it is difficult if you dont like confrontation. Your DP is right though. Not sure what to suggest. We're noisy very early in the morning, and I'm planning on a bottle of wine and a Christmas card with a "Happy Christmas from your Noisy Neighbours - please bear with us while the DC get up so early and thanks for your patience" i.e. passive aggressive I'm nice so don't complain tactic.

Hope you have a great party sophia.

What's up flouncy?

GT S kisses pictures of himself, mainly. H is lovely kissing A, whereas S is a vain boy.

fruit I would be pissed off with that too. How rude. Good for your Dad. Will he say something to her?

All fine chez FamilyGazelle today.

GTbaby · 08/11/2013 14:08

Zamboni. I keep meaning to ask! Who r u! I can't work it out. Obviously PM me if you want.

it took me quite some time to work out pumpkins nc!

ValiumQueen · 08/11/2013 14:15

GT there is a clue at the bottom of the post.

GTbaby · 08/11/2013 14:17

Thanks chasing. I need to order some books for Xmas gift.
If anyone has recommendations for which Jeremy strong books to pick let me know. Wink

Next need to find a diary with a lock on it.

GTbaby · 08/11/2013 14:18

Haha. VQ didn't notice the last line. Lol

flouncymcflouncerson · 08/11/2013 14:30

Thanks for the welcome back. I am officially an eejit and will not flounce off in a pathetic teenagery stroppy huff again. I miss you guys too much!!

Having a bit of a nightmare though as I am anxious wimpy patient and my blood pressure was through the roof at my pre op appt. Was told to see GP this week but when I got to surgery yesterday there were a few stressors including no working loo and I have the period from hell which meant my zen like try and stay calmness was scuppered and my BP still measured high, granted not stroke on the table high but high all the same. I was also seen by nurse instead of a GP which was a bit useless as she can't help me much. I'm booked in again for Monday but need top staying calm, reducing anxiety hints and tricks!!

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 14:31

He bloody better say something to her zamboni if he doesn't then I will and he wouldn't want that. I think he will probably say something in a half hearted jokey way so as to keep on the right side of her the peace. Anyway it's a good excuse for me to not have to bother or make an effort with her anymore so as pissed off as I am, I suppose she has done me a favour.

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 14:32

flouncy I'm glad you posted about your op, now I know who you are, i thought you were someone else Blush

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 14:33

Oh and sorry to read of high bp Hmm

Sophiathesnowfairy · 08/11/2013 14:39

I meant to say Shock fruit what a bitch. That is horrible. I hope your dad says something.

Hypnotherapy flouncY! If I am worked up and can't sleep I use some of ye hypnobirthing techniques! Confused

misslaughalot · 08/11/2013 14:52

Zamboni thanks for the advice. I like that approach and may do something similar myself!

Littlemisslaughalot is currently fast asleep in the car on the driveway after nodding off on our way home from our signing class. I can see her from the lounge window though, so that's ok, right?!

We're off to the doctors in a bit to get her blood test results after her scarily horrendous reaction to peanut butter. Hopefully they can tell us if she's allergic to any other nuts.

Chasing thanks for the Book People code! I saw a book bundle last night that I saw would be perfect for splitting up and giving out as Christmas gifts to all friends' children. So I paid £25.50 for 50 books!

ChasingDaisy · 08/11/2013 15:02

Glad the code was useful miss!

Interesting about the blood test for nut allergies. XP is allergic to peanuts so what is the best approach for me to take with O? I don't want to just try him on peanut butter and hope for the best Hmm Should I ask for blood tests?

misslaughalot · 08/11/2013 15:13

It can't hurt to approach the doctor and ask Chasing. They took her blood when we were admitted to the children's ward, and said they'd be able to test for specific nuts. I'm hoping we get some answers today as when I rang the receptionist for the results this morning she just said the doctor had noted the results as 'no action required' Confused which doesn't tell me anything! Hence the appointment.

GTbaby · 08/11/2013 16:08

Wwyd?

H wakes up at 8ish has milk and weetabix.

He gets sleepy at 11 and will sleep till 2 or today 3. I have tried to split it up. But it's so much work ATM. But 3 is to late for lunch (he has 5oz of milk on waking) and just doing dinner means only two meals a day.

Tried giving some bread cheese just now but he isn't interested. But realise this may be more to do with teeth.

So how do I fit in 3meals? Or what shall I do? Small meal when waking up at 3ish. Then another at 6

YellowWellies · 08/11/2013 16:31

I thought Flouncy was Pidj but have realised the Mac is a clue! Smile

fruitpastilles · 08/11/2013 16:40

That's who I thought she was.

ValiumQueen · 08/11/2013 17:30

There have been a few flouncers but as you were on the bargain thread too I knew it was you Grin

I think we need to do a bit of PP outreach. Come back Pidge!!!

Passmethecrisps · 08/11/2013 17:50

I think we should all name change.

I could be passmetheflounce

I liked guessing flouncy. It was like a game of guess who. I got it! Ha!

Passmethecrisps · 08/11/2013 17:51

I miss our wee pidj too.

A colleague of mine was on the akshal news because he rescued a pigeon from his fire when it fell down his chimney

PurplePidjin · 08/11/2013 18:01

Happy birthday O Cake

I never flounced, just cut back my posting due to excessive accidental off-pissing incidents Hmm I've also had a madly tiring few days including giving blood, work and 2 baby activities a day. I feel like shit, R is having to self settle because he was just too squirmy while feeding picking up my exhaustion and Monday is going to be extremely tough for vvvdp for reasons i can't talk about.

Please go to sleep, R Sad

FatimaLovesBread · 08/11/2013 18:03

Just getting ready for a night out for DH's birthday. A rate chance to wear make up Grin

Not sure what to wear though. Black skinnies and floaty white and black top or orange (coral) skinnies and black top.

Hmmm

Sorry just posting to think outloud really

PetiteRaleuse · 08/11/2013 18:03

I can be PetiteFlounceuse.

pidj giving blood is heroic Flowers

Pikz · 08/11/2013 18:26

I would just be flounceypikz but Sophia could be thefloucingfairy!! :)

Lovely to see you back PP x

PurplePidjin · 08/11/2013 18:27

I would wear the black if there's any possibility of red wine or tomato sauce, Fatima

I had lentil and veg stew for tea yesterday and will have steak tonight. Fruit and fibre for breakfast, carrot and coriander soup for lunch... Why am i still feeling depleted?
