Not Forsyth though soph , he's a bit past being ferried further than from his home to strictly.

chasing your dad sounds like a good bloke too. Glad he's coming to help you tomorrow. Make the most of it to rest and rehydrate. You will feel better by tomorrow evening if you can do that. Get him to stop off and buy rehydrating solution for babies if you don.t have any, just in case.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/11/2013 21:49

Yah yah v posh bird. The one thing which will allow me to sleep is that at least the fucking cat didn't steal any.

Passmethecrisps · 05/11/2013 22:09

Oh fuck it pr. It will be delish and you can tell the girls how well fed they were as babies if they ever dare moan about dinner.

PetiteRaleuse · 05/11/2013 22:13

I did make a point of telling dd1 that it was the best chicken she had ever had. She just asked for ketchup and mayonnaise

Kyz · 05/11/2013 22:28

Hey quiche! Very quickly because I as I type this the bits I remember are floating out of my sleep deprived brain!

chasing you sound rough I hope you feel better soon

Hope all the poorly quichelets are better soon

Happpppyyyy birthday to any I have missed, I know there is zambonis S right?

vq your j does smile through some stuff bless him

Oh come the fuck on brain I know there's more!!!

evil you are very brave and doing very well

pr that's a right expensive bird that one!!!

For my news... The floor in the dining room is now re laid. Skirting board tomorrow. I stayed up till 3am to do ceiling and got up at 7:30 to make 12 month review only to realise two mins before I left that his thingy is Friday! So am tired but still alive! And, and, I did do the ceiling I am proud and will probably put a pic on Facebook at some point

I have worked my arse off today and my baby is home :D ok so it's still going to be difficult but it is clean and functional enough for him. so he will be home for his birthday tomorrow :) I still have lots to do for his party but I'll sort that with another few sleep deprived nights but I am still awake as I'm so excited for his birthday and the fact I get to get him up in the morning and feed him and change him and play with him ALL DAY!!!

I do need to sleep now though and I am so sorry if I have forgotten something. I know I have I can feel it

Congrats charlee fab news :)

I'm sure there's more. I can't wait to be back properly!

Gosh I'm tired. All fed none dead though :) night my quichey family xxx

ChasingDaisy · 05/11/2013 22:29

Trying to sleep but my whole body really fucking hurts. And I've been sick again. And Oscar is stirring. Grateful for any sleepy dust sent this way. See you on the other side.

PR I am sorry to intersperse your tale of your magnificent feast with my tale of vom. Is juxtaposition the right word here?

Anyway, night.

Kyz · 05/11/2013 22:29

Ah yes yw the man was a fucktard!

Kyz · 05/11/2013 22:30

Chasing I really feel for you, bless you, hope you get some sleep tonight

PurplePidjin · 05/11/2013 22:53

Please don't use the word fucktard. It's a contraction of fucking retard, which is extremely offensive to people with learning difficulties. Similar to using the n word about a black or Asian person

Pikz · 05/11/2013 23:00

PR that was an expensive bird! Sounds lovely though!

Chasing get well very very soon.

Kyz glad to hear the boy is home

YW what a twunt

GTbaby · 05/11/2013 23:42

Who asked about crochet video tutorials?
New stitch a day on YouTube seems quite good.
I had to watch loads of different videos to learn first how to do a chain, then single and double crotchets. Then your pretty much sorted.

MsJupiterJones · 06/11/2013 00:19

Wow pr that is one posh bird! Hope it stretches out for a full week's meals... Well at least a couple! Thanks for the advice re rash. At least it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

Kyz well done on getting the house ready, what a superhuman effort. You sound very happy to have your chick back in the nest.

YellowWellies · 06/11/2013 01:30

Kyz awesome Mummy skillz on fixing the house! May I wish the lovely E a fab birthday.

Det Betty Crocker's devils food cake mix is dairy free as is Dr Oetker's chocolate cupcake frosting. I know this as there is rumour that DH is 'baking' me and my twin sis a cake for our birthday on Friday - and said packets were in our Sainsbos shopping delivery. They may contain 'dairy traces'. If you fancy a helping hand. I used the Oetkers frosting for Jonas' cake and it was a) gorgeous and b) no one reacted.

Pidj I use 'fecktard' fairly regularly in my swearing reparte. I now stand corrected Blush I hadn't thought of it's origin and I'm sure Kyz hadn't either.

Right first wake up was at 1.20, so that's much better than the last few nights. Which is good as I'm looking after my niece tomorrow afternoon too ignores £300 lost income as I was meant to freelance but my sister had no other cover Sad let's hope her and the bear don't spend all afternoon scrapping - she likes to push him over now he's standing and he likes to pull her hair in retaliation! The joys of a 14 month 'age gap' Blush .

YellowWellies · 06/11/2013 01:31

PR I reckon a forty quid chicken sounds like one of those things that you just have to do once Smile

ChasingDaisy · 06/11/2013 01:41

I have the most horrendous, agonising back pain Sad and still can't keep down water, let alone painkillers.

YellowWellies · 06/11/2013 01:54

Sounds like it could be in your kidneys Chasing Sad just keep trying with tiny sips. Wish there was someone there with you. I'd volunteer but am rubbish with vom and am 400 miles away. Hopefully this is the worst. Get well soon lovely xx

Kyz · 06/11/2013 02:53

pp wasn't using the word to cause offence in that way, I hadn't thought of it to be offensive because of the word retard although obviously I should've realised that. It's just a word that I clearly picked up without even noticing. I'm pretty sure I don't use it often and have never meant to cause offence to anyone. I guess I assumed people would know I just meant wanker/idiot/general shitty person. I have a brother with SEN and would never wish to upset anyone. Clearly am not functional enough to post currently so won't. I am tired, and really didn't think anything of the word. Everyone around here uses the word 'tard' and I really hadnt thought anything of it, I thought they'd just made it up as kids do!

Sad
Kyz · 06/11/2013 02:56

Before I go, chasing keep trying sips of water. My mum always tells me flat coke but I'm not sure if that's a bit much for you in your current state :( wish I were in a position to help!

kyz Happy birthday to E, glad he is at home.
chasing how did the night go?
Pr meat is expensive here as well. And no choice, only one kind. I'm sure it was all worth it.

I can't sleep. Leo's sister and niece arriving today. I can honestly say I hate his sister. Niece is ok-ish, she is only 19.

ChasingDaisy · 06/11/2013 05:48

I think I managed a broken hour of sleep. O has just woken so I need to attempt getting up.

ValiumQueen · 06/11/2013 06:19

Chasing I hope you get some rest today. See if someone can get you rehydrating sachets on minor ailments at chemist. Always good to have to hand.

J woke at 5 vomiting. All in hair, eyes etc. Stripped, washed, wrapped in towel and fast asleep next to me. Not a bug.

Could the omeprazole be stopping his food being digested? His vomit was his snack at nursery, fucking raisins. He had it 14 hours earlier. How can that be right??? Any thoughts?

Kyz loving the quiche family comment Smile

PR that is one fancy bird Grin

ValiumQueen · 06/11/2013 06:20

Lily I hope the visit is bearable. I am sorry you do not get on with them. Such a shame.

StuntNun · 06/11/2013 06:23

I didn't know that either Pidj so thanks for the heads up.

I hope you are better today lovely Chasing. It's tough when mummies are ill too.

Today is our last day in the house so we have a million last minute things to do before the move today. J was all weary and waily yesterday but hopefully I'll be able to have him in the sling to keep him settled. His rash has got worse but it's still not clear whether it's chicken pox or something else. He has been bfing a lot more than usual so I think his mouth is dry and sore. Poor little lamb.
