Like our DS figster, and I'm glad they're checking it out. So much better to get it sorted now, if his hearing is a problem, than years down the line. DS's next hospital appointment is in Jan.

I'd really like to adopt too, though DS is less keen. However, his parents were emergency foster carers for decades, so not sure if that's a reason. I think anyone who works in any way tangentially with the care system would want to adopt, just to give the kids a chance
. It is terrifying when you analyse it, the high amount of 'attention' these kids receive from SS, health, police, etc, and the subsequent emotional and financial costs...
Money transferred, removals deposit paid, it's getting closer 
Oh, and DS decided tonight he was not going to sleep in his cot, but in the double bed in his room- seems like he's made the transfer to big boy bed without any fuss
