Hiya.... Sympathies for the awful travel... It's just one of those things that no-one picks to do, but is just how it worls out. DD currently obsessed with "pleyn DAAWW!" (An aeroplane jigsaw from late Great-Granny)
And we're all drip-drying from the school run. DD2 is Peppa Incarnate and loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles...

We've got our assessment in a couple of weeks.

Soft play and coffee with the mummies today. Sick of this bastard rain.

As for "reviews", there are slips in the red book for first review, 6-8 week review, 1 yr (Boi had his at 9 months?) then 2-2.5 yr review, and a 3-5yr. But she said that there wouldn't be any more.
Also, when I mentioned it to the cm, she said that she had to do one at the same time as part of the EYFS. So I'm waiting for her report.

According to the red book (found and dusted off for the assessment) the next immunisations are at 3 yrs 4 months.- diphtheria, tetanus, polio pre school booster, and then the second MMR.

Ha! My singing is terrible and yet DS loves it. Grins and gets me to sing more nursery rhymes to him. Just goes to show the little buggers have no taste Grin

mopsy I have no idea either- DS hasn't been weighed or measured since he was 9 months, so I haven't a clue. We've already had to move him up to age 3-4 for most clothes, and will doing the final bits in Feb, so I'm guessing he's just 'big' Confused Ditto no idea on the jabs... aethel, help!!

I'm joining what seems to be a thread theme of crap work travel- took 1hr 20 mins to get home tonight, a distance of all of 3-4 miles, and I had to get off the bus and walk the last mile of the route as traffic was solid..then the 1.5 miles I'd have to do anyway. Still, good exercise

Do they do these two year checks everywhere? We haven't heard anything... I've no idea how much minim weighs or how tall she is. She was 50th centile all through her first year for weight and the one time she was measured she was also 50th centile for height. When are they supposed to have the next round of immunisation?

Report
Figster · 30/01/2014 19:57

Cripes DS was 33lbs quite a while ago 98th centile weight and height need to measure/weigh again since they didn't bother at 2yr check. Need to take him to dr his constipation is regular and he needs lactulose to go cm texted to say he had an ungodly nappy today.....don't want him getting dependent on laxatives Hmm

3 day weekend ahead now .........shame have nothing planned

Boi is 13kg, and still tracking the 75th percentile (steady since birth). No one has ever measured his height.
...I reckon he's about 6ft. Smile

When I sing she puts her hands over her ears and runs out of the room screaming :o

DD1 had her two year review today, scored all at the high end of the white area so she's doing well. She's 26lb, measuring around 50th centile for both height and weight.

I like the " me do it mine self" idea, and "no mummy, go WAY" the best.
BOi often shouts at me "stop singing, mummy! Stop singing! No singing, mummy!" Is that just me?Blush

Hope things get sorted for you kitten

I've booked a week off in Feb, I'm going to take DS out of nursery for a day or two and do some fun days out. Feel like we need more quality time with just the two of us.

Aw aethal, she sounds such a sweetie.

How about Dec2011, they really weren't lying about the twos.

Dec '11: BWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

(This especially applies between 5pm and 6.30, where DS is inexplicably Demon Leg-Cling Child, usually just as I need to make dinner. Mashing potatoes with a leg motif of toddler is an interesting fashion choice.)

We've been watching Outnumbered series 1. Then caught the last 5 mins of the new (final) series on BBC1: forgot to PVR it so will have to watch on iplayer or summat. The kids in it are all so grown-up! It will be like that with our LOs, I look at my big two and they are already miles away from being two!

(DD2 (who's 6) snuggled up to me today and said "mummy, do you want to know a secret? I don't really think I feel like a big girl. I only feel, mm, y'know, about five....")
I'm about fifteen, me.....

Oooh, good luck for your DH figster. Can't believe the journeys you've had, nearly 6 hours there and back to work Shock?! Please tell me you don't have to go to Head Office often.
And sorry to hear about the haircut incident, I know Xiao suffered the same- do you have any pics, or is it really that bad?

DS was a total little sod yesterday morning, trying to get onto "Momma Chair" whilst I'm sitting in it trying to eat breakfast, failing, giving a good go at biting me in the ribs and when that was not well received Hmm hitting me. Amongst other things.
Today of course, it's been sweetness, light and giggles...gah!

Glad you're at least back in the 'system' now Kitten, and at least have some meds to start off. MH teams are under such pressure at the moment, I do hope you get seen quickly and get the treatment you need.
How are all the Spawn doing at the moment, I know winter tends to be bad for chests/breathing/asthma etc?

Now, thread titles, based on the above...
Dec 11- The March of the Toddler Tyrants?
Dec 11- "No Mummy, goWAY"
