I for one have a very surprising baby.

Yes it was only insured for £50 but as I didn't pay for them I'm not sure how it'll work.

We've got a 10ft trampoline which dd loves but we have issues with static shocks which means I don't like to go on Grin

WLmum · 11/08/2013 07:57

Waving is cute! They are getting so grown up!

T seems fine, she woke at 5.45 and I fed her despite my resolve not to as I don't know how much she got at bedtime in the end as boobs felt pretty empty. She woke again at 7, had another feed and so far so good. I think it was just that she took too much too fast and it all came back just like when she was younger. She's still a bit refluxy.
She did wait til if taken her nappy off this morning to do a huge wee, then poo'd on the bath mat. Rascal.

Barbeasty · 11/08/2013 09:11

Well I'm not sure if peppa pig world will be on.

A went down well in the travel cot. When he woke I glanced at my watch & thought it was 2.10. He fed and fell asleep. DD woke up a few times to say her head hurt, and other gibberish, but went back to sleep each time.

Eventually she wanted to come into my bed, so I put A back in the cot & let her in. She was hot, and a few minutes later she threw up. It was 1am....

A bath, hair wash and sheet change later she went back to sleep. For the rest of the night, pretty much if DD was asleep, A would wake & feed. If A was asleep, DD would wake & complain about her head.

She's eating some toast now, but we're debating whether she needs the ooh Dr, whether to go home and then to ooh, or whether to see how she does today. So difficult! She's asking if we're going to a beach today.

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 09:23

Oh no Barbeasty Sad I would see how she is today. Dd was sick for the first time a month or so ago but she was fine after.

jackandjilly · 11/08/2013 11:06

Oh barbeasty! How is your dd now? Sounds like a tough night!

WL got to love a good old poo on the bath matGrin better than in the bathGrinGrin

We have a lovely ice cream parlour up the road and they have a trampoline, I love getting on with dd!

Ispy I can't wait for ds to wave! Soooo cute!

I would love to join the fb group if possible?

Barbeasty · 11/08/2013 11:18

She seems better (fingers crossed). Certainly better for eating breakfast, and having a dose of nerofen.

A did a fantastic sick of his yoghurt & blueberry breakfast! Thankfully on his changemat, not on SIL's cream sofa...

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 11:27

Jack you need to pm Honeymum I think she's on this thread somewhere?! Envy Of the ice cream parlour!

Glad dd's feeling feeling better beasty maybe you will be fine to go tomorrow?

Dp has taken dd and ds out (well to his mums it's all he can cope with on his own Hmm) so I can get on with some work for my diploma it's pretty easy though.

jackandjilly · 11/08/2013 12:11

Do you know if I can pm from the app spotty?

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 12:30

Yeah just press on the funny little square with the arrow coming out of it to the right of the post

jackandjilly · 11/08/2013 13:41

Thanks spottyGrin

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 14:05

I've found a rear facing car seat at an affordable price! It rear faces up to 39lb I'm really pleased as I thought I would never be able to get a rf one Smile

linky

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/08/2013 15:39

Arrrrrrgh my judgypants are killing me. DP's workmate who weaned on spag bol at 11 weeks announced last week that her 15 wo is now crawling Hmm on the same day that I posted about Jamie pulling himself up. She has just posted a picture of her feeding the baby a penguin bar. 16 weeks fucking old, she's not safe to be let out I swear. I've had to hide her or I'm going to say something that DP will regret.

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 15:46

Post an article about early weaning onto fb saying 'I'm so glad I waited with J' Grin

ISpyPlumPie · 11/08/2013 18:27

Oh no Beasty, poor DD Sad. How is she now?

Thanks for that link Spotty. I'd thought rf would be too expensive as well, but that looks like a good one.

I think my judgy pants would be well and truly hoiked too Willyou.

Have had a lovely day. We went to Eureka, the children's museum in Halifax. It's so good. There's loads of hands on, fancy dress, craft stuff etc and it's been really well thought out for families eg buggy parks, highchairs in the indoor picnic area and little bits just for non-walking babies in among the areas for the older DC to play in. So nice when we find something that both DS1 and N can enjoy.

SpottyTeacakes · 11/08/2013 19:05

Sounds like a lovely day ISpy Smile the car seat is even cheaper on preciouslittleone.com. Ds still has loads of room in his infant carrier but it's borrowed from a friend who's due mid November so I will need to be ready to give it back mid October.

lazzaroo · 11/08/2013 19:24

Hi all! DD has been ok today so must have just been shattered! She woke in the night last night though. We've had lovely day too. Baby lazza was good as gold while we were out this afternoon, despite being awake for 4 hours between naps. I kept expecting the meltdown but it never came Smile.

Hope DD is well enough for Peppa tomorrow beasty.

Barbeasty · 11/08/2013 21:16

She was doing fine. We took her to build a bear, then went to the aquarium (must remember next year it isn't really value for money!). She was desperate for the beach, and wanted some water, so we rushed round it a bit, and A slept for the first half.

Went to a cafe briefly and she hurried us on to the beach. We'd forgotten to bring swimming stuff from the car, so I took her paddling but she only stayed for 2 waves and then wanted to play with her bucket & spade.

I took A paddling and he really enjoyed it. Even when the water splashed to his waist. And he crawled around on the sand, and looked up, face covered in sand, and grinned.

I took A back to the aquarium and left DH/DD on the beach. A loved the fish. Really interested and then babbling away at them.

Got back and found DH asleep with DD lying on his chest asleep. She was really hot and lethargic. Even when we got home she just wanted cuddles. About an hour after neurofen she had a bath, and perked up. Went to be happily after eating rice and a banana. But we'd had to cancel DN's birthday Indian out and get take away because of the ill child!

Just don't know about tomorrow. If she's doing.ok she'll love it. If she's not then it will be hell and an utter waste of money. Currently playing it by ear and will decide tomorrow. I'd rather pay the extra £6 than waste 2 tickets!

halestone · 11/08/2013 21:53

I really hope DD is better tomorrow Beasty.

Ispy that sounds like a lovely day out Grin

Willyou my judgeypants would be firmly pulled up too. I have to hide people on fb as i can't delete them as i feel awkward when i see them next.

Lazza glad you had a nice day and i hope you and DD have a better sleep tonight.

WLmum · 11/08/2013 21:56

Am also judging willyou! Clearly she's an idiot.

ispy sounds lovely.

beasty hope dd is well enough. T really enjoyed paddling in the sea too.

Dbil/sil came over with their 5 week old today - he's cute and all but our big babies are so much more fun!
He's colicky so we were showing them how to wear him in the moby.

FriendofDorothy · 11/08/2013 21:57

I sure people will be judging me. My sister gave The Little MIster some chocolate today. He thought all his Christmasses had come at once!

WLmum · 11/08/2013 22:23

Worry not fod you're in our gang so its ok! Seriously a little taste is different from 'feeding him a penguin'. I'm sure T will have treat stuff way sooner than the others as she's keen to have what we've got but everything in moderation and all that.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/08/2013 22:49

Yep FoD the odd taste of chocolate at 7/8 months is not the same as a full biscuit shoved in her face at not even 4 months. She's desperate for her to grow up too soon, she kept posting how her baby was spitting out her spag Bol at 11 weeks. No bloody wonder.

I hide too Hales that way they don't know you've done it Grin

Fingers crossed DD recovers soon Barbeasty. Glad A enjoyed the beach.

I do think that when I see newborns WL. They're lovely but don't really do much!

FriendofDorothy · 11/08/2013 23:20

Phew!!!

halestone · 12/08/2013 00:10

FoD i didn't get a choice with H she was trying chocolate whether i liked it or not but shes never had a full bar only a couple of licks and tbh i resented sharing it so she won't be having moreWink

halestone · 12/08/2013 00:11

Strike out failConfused
