along the shit theme ( sorry I couldn't resist). All I will say is first post Op poo. Grin the relief.

I think lunchtime today might see a partial return to mummy rules. No lifting, longtime standing duties involved. But DH has done a great job and I think he now deserves a break. for a shower

I feel ok, still tender, and a bit bruised, but I have come out of the funny feeling you get after a general anaesthetic and I can now lie on my sides. A little bit of time snuggled up with my my boys would be good.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/07/2013 06:46

Oo and 12 watchers on my donkey, hopefully one must bite.

BigPigLittlePig · 28/07/2013 07:46

Fecking teeth.

That is all Sad

Although am glad to hear of poo successes det and sophia! I hope pr and lily managed to get some sleep in the heat. The forecast was for storms here but it's a lovely fresh morning so I'm not sure now. Stunt dh has on occasion said to dsd "were you born stupid" - he did not get a good reception from me. I told him in no uncertain terms that I don't ever want to hear him say that to F (he gets all defensive and suddenly dsd is "his child" to whom he can say what he likes Hmm). Shall stop wittering on now.

StuntNun · 28/07/2013 08:07

We had a much better night fortunately, back down to our normal three wakenings. Still no sign of a tooth so I don't know what all the pain was about. I might get through the day after all.

Glad you had a better night Stunt. Still not great though x

J is very refluxy so back to Dr tomorrow to get omeprazole. We have given the new regime a month and things are not right still.

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 08:38

And glad your tummy feels better Detective x

PurplePidjin · 28/07/2013 09:13

Had enough. Night weaning has commenced.

ChasingDaisy · 28/07/2013 09:15

Glad you had a better night stunt.

I hope that pesky tooth comes through soon pig!

Good night from my boy last night - 7-4-7. I think he is actually starting to like sleep which helps as we are very slowly moving towards self settling.

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 09:31

Bad night PP? Sorry x

BigPigLittlePig · 28/07/2013 09:37

PP good luck - it wasn't too bad in Chateau Pig, but I got a strong feeling that F was ready something to do with the glint in her eye and the dirty chuckle at 1am (and 3, 4, 5 etc)

VQ Sad at poor Js refluxey nightmare. Poor boy.

DH got up with F this morning. Apparently she had turned 180 degrees in the night, so was head to foot, as it were, plus had flipped from back to front. All this despite being in her sleeping bag. Next stop - strait jacket?

StuntNun · 28/07/2013 09:57

How are you going about night weaning Pidj? It was on the cards for us until J's recent run of bad nights.

Does anyone know what the dosage is for ranitidine? J is 9.1 kg so I think he needs to go up to 2.5 ml twice a day but a double check would put my mind at ease. Given the GP's dismissal of silent reflux I didn't want to push my luck by asking him to perform basic maths as well as give me a prescription for my sick baby. Hmm

bp o turns every night 180 degrees and also from front to bAck. I never know in which position I find her in the morning.

Passmethecrisps · 28/07/2013 10:07

Morning vagina fans

Ranitidine with the usual "are not a doktor, Kay?"

+Usually the maximum dose is 10 mg/kg per day, divided up into 3 doses.

P weighs 6.2 kg
10 mg x 6.2 kg = 62mg per day (maximum)
Dividing this into 3 daily doses makes 20.6 mg per dose
Since Zantac syrup is 15 mg/ 1 mL, 20.6 mg would be 1.3ml per dose*

Split into two doses now. This was written a while ago.

Passmethecrisps · 28/07/2013 10:10

P always ended up upside down when her mattress was raised. I also watched her crawl up the landing with her sleeping bag on. Reduces mobility my arse

PetiteRaleuse · 28/07/2013 10:17

Too hot to sleep but outside is much cooler today. Phew. Have been houseworking and laundrying all morning. Very very tired. I want a good night's sleep.

ChasingDaisy · 28/07/2013 10:41

pig it won't surprise you to know that O also flipped 180 in the night. He always sleeps on his tum though.

Do you have a night weaning plan pidj? I have managed to get O down from 2 to 1 night feeds over the past few weeks. Any other wake ups he gets water, but we have only had one wake up in a 12 hour period for the past few nights.

ChasingDaisy · 28/07/2013 11:48

I just managed to read 3/4 of Tabby McTat to O before he had enough. I am so intrigued to find out how it ends!

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 11:58

You are allowed to read it on your own you know Chasing Wink

ChasingDaisy · 28/07/2013 12:12

Oh no, I couldn't possibly VQ, I want to find out how it ends at the same time Oscar does Smile

Grr, apparently Kate had the 'perfect' birth as she refused all pain relief.

Lily311 · 28/07/2013 12:12

Haha, vq just wanted to say the same. Just read it!

Lily311 · 28/07/2013 12:16

Of course she did. If anyone asks I had an easy birth too, not 25 hr back to back labour, no, no, no. You never tell the truth about your labour especially if you are the mother of the future king.

Passmethecrisps · 28/07/2013 12:23

QQ P has been massively unsettled today and has refused almost all milk. I am giving her solid lunch just now and she is due a nap in the next 45 minutes. Should I offer an extra bottle before her nap?

Sophiathesnowfairy · 28/07/2013 12:35

I would just try popping her down pass that late morning bottle has been the first to be dropped by all of mine in favour of a proper lunch with water as a drink. O dropped his a month or so ago. Go for it and see what happens, then report back! Grin

PurplePidjin · 28/07/2013 12:37

I'm going to refuse to feed him between 12 and 6. We reckon if he's bright enough to work out that mummy comes home at 10:30 from work and wait me out, he can learn not to wake at night! Dp will take over at 6 as usual to do weetabix and fruit etc.

He does sometimes settle with a wee rock and walk, so he'll get that - no cc or cio yet

Bargainous Britax ordered, we're off to Portsmouth tomorrow to collect it :o

ValiumQueen · 28/07/2013 12:42

Good for you PP, on the feeding and car seat, and going to Portsmouth as I was born there Smile

Pass, I hope P is soon brighter. My money is on a toof!
