I bought my husband an iphone cover for christmas that is water proof and shock proof. You can literally throw it at the wall and it doesn't break hours of fun

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 16:10

There are little chew rings. I look forward to playing with it later.

fruitpastilles · 26/07/2013 16:21

I just got them down. Roll on bedtime Grin

Ooh vq I need an iPad cover, I'll have to have a look.

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 16:22

It is the Fisher Price one. Usually over twice that.

fruitpastilles · 26/07/2013 16:28

Oh and pr I'm totally with your dd1 on that one, has to be fusilli for me aswell.

pass have you not just had a load of hair chopped off a few weeks ago or am I getting you confused with someone else? If so I'm very Envy of all of you hairdresser time lol.

I just had a look vq I can't find it. Maybe it's because I'm on the app and not the website, I'll have a look on there instead.

Passmethecrisps · 26/07/2013 16:30

Just a wee trim last time fruit.

Another 2 inches gone now

fruitpastilles · 26/07/2013 16:32

Make sure you put pics up pass

Pikz · 26/07/2013 17:03

Vq I got the same one. Only annoying thing is not being able to change volume!

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 17:09

Ah yes. And you need to dismantle to charge. Quite heavy too.

Fruit just look for fisher price iPad as I had trouble finding it too. The phone one is cheapest at Debenhams for £12. Very tempted.

GTbaby · 26/07/2013 17:55

Baby event at tesco.
20% off George clothing at asda till Sunday.
22% off toys r us.

Any other discounts due to George Alexander louis?

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 17:57

I considered George as a name so I would not need to sew name tags in. I am sure Prince George will never wear anything from Asda.

GTbaby · 26/07/2013 18:01

I was thinking I bet Prince George is getting SO many gifts/freebies. Do you think they give them to charity?

Also what nappies will he wear?

Passmethecrisps · 26/07/2013 18:12

Hair do complete. I love the idea of naming baby George to avoid sewing name tags. Might change P's name to 'Tu'

Passmethecrisps · 26/07/2013 18:13

Do they not need to declare everything Gt? Something makes me think gifts need to be declared. Or is that politicians?

TheDetective · 26/07/2013 18:29

I'm fairly sure they aren't allowed to accept gifts from companies. I seem to remember reading some trash daily mail saying Kim wotserface sent Kate a load of 'clothing' using the term loosely from her range. She sent it straight back. Grin

TheDetective · 26/07/2013 18:30

Grin @ VQ now there's an idea....!

PetiteRaleuse · 26/07/2013 18:37

I think they give most of it to charity, except for big official gifts, ie from heads of state, which will be kept somewhere safe to be displayed if and when I guess. They are declared and the gifts accepted are publicised by the press every now and again. I don't think they generally accept freebies, but I'd guess the odd one slips through.

Pikz · 26/07/2013 18:43

I have a child who due to tooth 3 and 4 will only eat rice cakes

Yes, I'm bored. Though not enough to read it.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 26/07/2013 18:45

Would it be mean of me to have a pedicure tomorrow? Just round the corner. When DH has been slaving over the boys all day today, and doing most of the childcare tomorrow? Would it be more diplomatic to save it till Tuesday when the boys are in nursery and continue to recuperate lying in bed/ sofa/ toilet at home? Would it be too strenuous to go for a pedicure? When I am not allowed to operate machinery ( including the cooker). Hmm

Another questions for all you healthcare gurus. I have two dressings on and she told me to check them, and change to new ones. It is really tender there and they are really stuck on. Do you think it would be ok to leave it till tomorrow and have a bath and see if they come off earlier or do you think I really should attempt to look this evening? Confused

fruitpastilles · 26/07/2013 18:46

S has only had 4oz before bed. She normally has 10. This doesn't bode well for tonight does it?

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 18:56

Sophia I would leave the dressings and soak them off in the shower tomorrow. I would not want them submerged, but the water would help with removal and also clean the area. Not sure getting in and out of the bath is such a good idea at this stage, or indeed going out for a pedicure. If there was a problem the wounds would seep through the dressing, or there would be a smell, redness etc.

Pikz · 26/07/2013 19:10

Sophia obvs vq and det and bp will know better but my c section ones I was told to take off in the shower 24 hours after

Sophiathesnowfairy · 26/07/2013 19:11

Ok, great, thanks vq will leave the pedi till Tues. was looking at my horrible feet thinking I could do with a feet treat. I will get DH to sniff my plasters!

ValiumQueen · 26/07/2013 19:19

Are they plasters? If so I would shower tonight and check. If they are proper dressings I would do them tomorrow. Plasters do not breathe the same and in this heat...
