Isthat, I hope he goes down soon for you (and you're not getting sick)
It is very muggy spotty.
Hale I love those sounds, just not at five in the morning Confused

This MN app could do with some improvement....like saving a draft as sometimes I forget who's written what then can't look back Angry

That's why I end up posting one after another (when I have time) Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 11/07/2013 19:25

Emily I copy and paste if I'm halfway through and can't remember something.

Ds crying Sad dp is up there with him. I'm not giving in the bottle is going. I will go and feed him again in a minute he wasn't very interested before though...

WLmum · 11/07/2013 19:41

hales T is really fast in her walker too and everyone is a bit scared - it really hurts when she bashes your ankles and she does chase (particularly me) a lot.

spotty who knows with babies - if you feel it's time for the bottle to go then it is. He'll soon feed if he's hungry and continue increasing your supply.

I've got to do packing tonight - we're off to Pontins tomorrow after school for the weekend. Hopefully it will be fun as well as hard work!

SpottyTeacakes · 11/07/2013 19:44

Oh lucky WL Sad going to be a hot weekend. Whereabouts are you going? Def ready to get rid of the bottle he's just wide awake and being cheeky Grin I'm feeding him now and it seems to be going ok...

We're on lockdown for the next three days (although going to brave tesco tomorrow) as it's goodwood festival of speed which means everywhere is gridlocked

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/07/2013 20:13

Today I am feeling the need for a (mild) moan about all those niggly things that are getting on my tits nerves:

DS is eating his bottle on me extremely slowly. He's approximately 1,000,000 degrees and despite just having got out of the shower am already a sweaty mess. Also my fringe/hair is drying curly by itself.

My house is a shit tip. I spent 2 hours cleaning it top to bottom on Monday and have hoovered twice since then. Still a horrid mess prevails and in going to need to do another hour tonight.

DP has worked today and then fucked off to football. He has also informed me he'll be doing 12 hours tomorrow so won't see the baby at all.

Hope you're not poorly IsThat, early night for you.

Hope F is asleep now Spotty, it is very warm so maybe that's unsettled him. Last night the bottle failed to knock j out for the first time. I put him down awake, he listened to two songs on his music box and zonked out. It was ace!

Enjoy your Wine Emily.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/07/2013 20:14

Have a lovely weekend WL, hard work yes but less so that If it were going to rain all week!

SpottyTeacakes · 11/07/2013 21:03

Giving in with the bottle Sad will try again tomorrow night....

SpottyTeacakes · 11/07/2013 21:23

And he's fast asleep....

Rant away WillYou! My house is horrendous my bedroom especially, but to be honest I'm pretty sure it's against the law to do housework when it's over 20 degrees outside? It's rubbish when your partner isn't home it must be so hard for them working all day and then going out afterwards without a second thought for anyone else....

WLmum · 11/07/2013 21:23

Never mind spotty, tomorrow is another day. Going to Pontins at camber sands so beach should be nice but obviously we will go early and/or late and miss a big chunk of the hotter part of the day. We've got a little sun tent that Tabs can hang out in although I suspect she'll mostly be interested in trying to eat the sand.
We can't afford a real holiday so this is the first of 3 mini cheapy breaks. At least this one is in an apartment, the other 2 will be in tents!

WLmum · 11/07/2013 21:24

Lol spotty

Maryland2013 · 11/07/2013 21:29

Ha ha Spotty that's the perfect excuse...
Willyou my house is also a shit tip. dh just announced "just done a quick tidy up" as though I could have done it myself in the day. Yeah right.
I sometimes feel like we have the same argument discussion about me having a "free day" and him being so busy at work I have to remind him of his free time to and from work just chilling in the car, coffee breaks, lunch break with mates everyday, browsing Internet when bored.. We get none of this!!

WLmum · 11/07/2013 21:29

Yep, my DH has gone to the pub while I pack - hmm.

WLmum · 11/07/2013 21:33

Ha - my DH got home from work and asked if we were ready enough for the weekend for him to go out - we had done nothing as if yesterday - yes of course I've done everything in between 2 school runs, 2 kids at home all day, builders relaying the floor and numerous calls to the insurers. Of course I am superwoman. Idiot! I told him to go anyway otherwise his hard done by fave would have provoked a rage in me ! He knows he owes me!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/07/2013 21:42

Well misery loves company, welcome to the ranting room ladies!

DP's just come in from footie fully dressed 4.5 hours later. So I'm presuming the pub was visited afterwards. I'm still doing bedtime, washing's on the line, all DS' stuff is still outside and every door is open. J's trying to yank out my hair, it's an awesome game Hmm

Maryland DP tells the women he works with that i sunbathe all day. how do you sunbathe with a 6 mo to look after? He came in today and I had DS in the paddling pool. He said hey Jamie is this all you've done all day? Erm no you cheeky fucker, I've done the fucking asda shop, the washing and fed a struggling baby 4 times thanks. I stuck him in the pool 10 mins ago as he was overheated and whinging like mad. Angry

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/07/2013 21:57

DP is tidying up and DS is asleep but I refuse to go down just yet. He might as well make himself useful! Smile

2blessed · 11/07/2013 22:35

Both dp and ds now have diarrhea!

Thankfully ds has finally gone to bed.

Can I join the ranting room? Dp was on at me today about how the windows need a clean and was I waiting on him to do them. Tbh the windows are sooo low on my priority list. Right after dealing with poorly and clingy ds, on average 3 washes a day, ironing, cooking, washing dishes etc. And now he's sick? Its going to be a long weekend...

Envy at your mini break WL. You'll have a fab time.

WLmum · 11/07/2013 22:40

Poor you 2blessed, really hope you don't get it too. Cleaning the windows - wtf?! We paid the window cleaner to do the outside a couple of weeks ago - first time since we've lived here - 2 years! Inside windows? Er never! As you say, we'd all like to live in a sparkly house but so low priority.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 11/07/2013 22:48

Cleaning the windows 2Blesseds DP? Seriously?

Thanks 2blessed I hope they both recover soon before you lose your mind.

halestone · 11/07/2013 22:50

2blessed hope their both better soonThanksThanks

Dp did his first morning at work yesterday.

R is a teething grump who i hope has knackered himself out crawling Hmm I've been at work and apparently he howled from 8:30-9:30 Sad

halestone · 11/07/2013 22:53

WL have a great time in pontinsGrin

Spotty tomorrow is a new day and the heat might of made him want a bottle.

Sorry about all the useless DPs mines been unusually good today so for once i'm going to leave him alone

OP posts:
SpottyTeacakes · 12/07/2013 05:39

Eugh ds's up for the day Hmm

IsThatTrue · 12/07/2013 05:43

Well after going down at 7, needing to finish the feed at 7.30, and then needing resettling at 8 (a cuddle and shushing) DS2 has just woken for a feed Shock

Sorry to hear of dps being rubbish. I'm the one being rubbish at home atm. I'm getting so down at the state of the house (which tbh is not that bad just a bit messy although the bathrooms could do with a bit of a clean ) but not really having the energy to do anything about it. Ds2 is taking up so much time as he won't nap and it makes him a grump-a-lump!

utopian99 · 12/07/2013 07:18

Also sorry to hear about rubbish dps; here's hoping some ideas are bucked up!

O has a rather horrid cough which results in him waking himself up because of it. This is the second night where I haven't had more than two hours sleep for any one stretch. Ugh.

Barbeasty · 12/07/2013 09:58

Well when I went to pick DD up from nursery yesterday she asked if I'd tidied the house! No dear, I've been at work all day. Maybe you'd like to help me when we get back.

"No thank you mummy. Actually I think you can do it by yourself". She's lucky she was strapped in the back of the car!

Glad your DP is back to working Pidj. That's quite a step.

WLmum you need to get yourself an in law who lives by the sea. We have a week coming up in August and will be spending 5 days with SIL in Bournemouth. Hope the weather is this good.
