Oh, LO loves tabouleh and couscous but the cold versions you get in the deli part of the supermarket. I'm sure they are slightly salted, but no more than ham, which is recommended as first meat here.

Passmethecrisps · 01/07/2013 21:39

Yo yo yo bitches!

Wassup?

Aaaargh I have so much to reply to. I will forget.

Straight off.

stacks! Please come and meet us face to face. I am sorry to add to the condemnation of the HCP you have but I am utterly aghast at what you have been told.

Haggis wenches? Tomorrow? Washappenin? Fuck it, I have nothing else on so I will happily meet anyone on jocklandia tomorrow.

kyz absolutely nothing wrong with shop bought food. The only place you find such animosity towards the likes of EK is on MN. We are just practicing at this stage. Personally, when P flapped her arms and giggled at the taste of lamb and mint casserole thanks to EK I honestly thought I wouldn't care if she never ate anything else ever again.

Bless j falling asleep in his jumperoo VQ. My sister has a pic of her boy doing the same. I am sorry you didn't get to make the most of the time alone though.

clarella. Ach. I don't know what to say lovely lady apart from . You really have been through the wringer and you never complain. I would bet a whole packet of haribo that you would always feel everyone else's problems are worse than yours. When you posted all the things which have gone on I was really pretty shocked. I knew it but when you listed it like that . . . You are a tough cookie.

Who liked bawbag again? It is a personal fave of mine. Usually uttered through narrowed eyes like this "fuckin bawbag" for extra effect.

kyz our day looks like this:

6:30 bottle
8am brekkie
10am bottle
12 lunch
1pm bottle
4pm bottle
5pm tea
6:30 bottle

It's dead squished up but seems to be working thus far. P seems hungry every bottle and happily takes pretty much whatever she is given for solid noms so hay ho. As for pudding. I offer fruit every meal. Sometimes whole sometimes purée.

I'll be back. Need to regroup

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 01/07/2013 21:41

kirrin our days start that sort of time too. Sucks.

kyz we have tea at 5.15-5.30pm ish, bath at 6pm, bottle and bed somewhere between 6.30-7pm.

BPLP poor you and poor F. It is a big adjustment for you both, but she will be ok. When I picked S up today, he'd been crying all afternoon. He was fine after he saw DD me. But soon she'll be fine and she will never remember this, even if you do. By the time she is old enough to really understand what is happening, the CM's will be a home away from home for her. Well done for surviving first day back!

MM Envy over decisiveness re hair. If I could decide what suited me and what to do, I'd be chuffed. You look fab!

bry glad a good day was had.

Right - off to bed, expect DS to wake/cough in about 5 mins. He's back on amoxicillin again. Fucking illness. No way near as bad luck as VQ has had, but impact on sleep whole working is a PITA. Oh, and I have a little jot water bottle in my bed. A 2 year old one. By some miracle, I am the current favourite parent. This has never been the case, she is completely DH's. but she's ill too, and wants mummy. Which is lovely until 2am when I wake up with a foot in my throat.

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/07/2013 21:42

kyz I missed your point about E sleeping so late. My E used to do this sometimes but now I try not to let her sleep too late as I was finding it hard to settle her at 7/7.30pm Day time naps have been a bit all over the place since we've got back from hol but that's another story. Today she napped only from 1.45-2.30pm so was absolutly beside herself come dinner time and she nearly fell asleep in her high chair mid course bless her. The strawberries and cream perked her up no end though. They were a big hit.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/07/2013 21:46

Someone switched my washing machine cycle to the special shoes cycle Confused

Ididn't realise till I had put the bedding in.

It looks like a white out in there.

I have boys lunch at 11 today so they could get a hours sleep before toddler group. No problems.

Am bracing myself and will apply for the loan tomorrow.

O had his first try of wheaten bread today, just a little bit with some soup for tea. Was nommed

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/07/2013 21:49

Am now watching long lost family waiting for DH to get back from Northern Ireland. Boys fast asleep. Ironing done. House v clean. Ready for nursery and work in the morrow.

What can I do about wobbly tummy have lost 2 stone and 5 lbs but still have a wobbly tummy.

Is it the 30 ab challenge?

Passmethecrisps · 01/07/2013 21:50

Love the fact that nom has become a verb.

DH is busily telling me about how 'was nommed' makes 'nommed' a past participle.

Passmethecrisps · 01/07/2013 21:52

sophia pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaase come to my house!! Ironing? Ironing? When do you find time for sitting on your arse thinking about nothing very much? Hmm? Hmm? That's what I am busy doing.

Passmethecrisps · 01/07/2013 21:55

Ha! Yes! You misses! I keep meaning to say hello to you.

HELLO

Wee E is a peace of genius awesome. I will do a mega happy dance when she gets that frickin tube out.

Kyzordz · 01/07/2013 22:04

Thanks for the routine advice everyone :)

Pr sorry you has a cold and the routine didn't go to plan today, hope it works tomorrow! Also hope you get a sodfding reply tomorrow too!

eliza yep, two windows on the laptop has been my trick the past few days, before that it was read on my phone, reply on ipad Blush

pass that's how I felt when E ate some steamed heinz pork casserole thingy, a whole 190g of it! I shall look out for the lamb and mint casserole. I feel a bit less guilty for him having something from a packet once a day for about a week now too, I do try to make sure I give something i've made the other meal. I always get very nervous trying something new in case he refuses it but I keep a pouch he loves on standby so I don't then panic he hasn't eaten. I keep giving finger foods too which he always tries but doesn't often eat much of. Except toast. And he adored bagel though I got nervous because of yw mentioning it was gagworthy once. As it was I was extra prepared which really helped :)

So far we do...

7-7:30 - bottle
8-8:30 - breakfast
11:30 - lunch
12:30 - bottle
3-3:30 - bottle
5-6 - tea
then it was 7pm bottle, 7:30 bath 8 bed but tonight was 7 bath, 7:30 bottle and 7:45 bed

Yikes hope you get some sleep madame

PurplePidjin · 01/07/2013 22:08

R gets up about 6 and has breakfast with daddy about 7, bf at 8, bf at 11, lunch at 12:30, bf 3:30, dinner 5:30, bath 6:30, bf 7:30. Naps after breakfast, mid morning and mid afternoon bfs. It's very flexible but that's the general gist. I'm starting to wonder about my supply though, as he's suddenly needing both barrels at bed time Sad

YellowWellies · 01/07/2013 22:09

Oh rats ass Pass I can't do tomo now as since nowt seemed planned I'm looking after my 3 yr old nephew so my sister can take her daughter to her paed appointment without whining accompaniment....

I can literally do any other day this week and like Pass I'm not too proud to admit I'd travel the length and breadth of Scotlandia for you ladies Grin .

I've just written a kick ass letter before action to our old landlord and letting agent who have yet to return our deposit, appear not to have registered said deposit (naughty naughty that's 3x deposit you owe us fuckers!) and seem to be doing the ol' deposit is that not my tip routine Envy Envy Envy . You will rue the day wank badgers Angry you have no inventory, broke the T&Cs whereas we have full photographic evidence that the place was left tickety boo.

Kyzordz · 01/07/2013 22:10

aw eliza bless her :) E would be the same though his longest ever stint of awake is 3.5 hours, and usually it is 2! I might have to do a 'no sleep past x time' and perhaps move bedtime forward a touch. He is very good, bless him, and sleeps very well, i don't want to mess his routine up but he gets so grim when he eats it'd help alot to not have to bath him, dress him, feed him, just to bath him again half an hour later and put him to bed

sophia do you fancy doing my ironing? pleeeeasse!

pass i love the word nom, and i have stolen your 'nomortunity' and say it often Blush

PurplePidjin · 01/07/2013 22:11

Oh, and he has pudding after lunch and tea, usually yoghurt at midday and a fruit pot at dinner. But this boy eats scary amounts of food ponders tape worm but surely I'd be less chubby Hmm

Kyzordz · 01/07/2013 22:11

aw pp hope there's nothing wrong with your supply, perhaps he just needs a bit more now he's older?

FatimaLovesBread · 01/07/2013 22:12

Evening all!

I am posting and i'm going to keep on top of the thread, promise.
i've had a shit weekend and a shit day today. In spirit of the depression talk, i've been feeling down and a bit like everything is getting on top of me. When I feel shit I seem to withdraw from the thread, I suppose it avoids me having to post about how i'm feeling or face up to things, I can waste my time reading pointless AIBUs instead. So apologies for that.
Anyway, I won't bore you all with my "feelings" and moan. I'm happier this evening Smile

Also discovered why M was so whingey and clingy and tesating my patience. She's got another tooth cutting through, so she's loaded up on calpol and finally in bed. Fingers crossed I get some sleep.

Detective I too have been thinking about visiting the GP about my sleep, but what can she say really? I'm booking an appt for some more hayfever stuff so I may mention it then. Oh and we need to arrange a meet up! Will have to post something on FB.

Welcome Stacks I was on the TTC thread with you and izzy

Ermm... can't remember what else I wanted to say

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/07/2013 22:14

pass I am looking forward to sitting on my ass thinking about nothing much in, oooo, about 8 years! Think age 8 is a watershed age. They step into a Little bit of being resposible for themselves. I like ironing, I get to watch trashy TV ( really bad 90s film on syfy channel) without the added guilt.

MissMummy1 · 01/07/2013 22:17

Where was I before I did 3 laps of the village with the buggy to get whingebag to sleep? (Mission failed by the way...)

Ah yes. Good luck with the loan Sophia .

Kyz you are doing a fantastic job! In fact, you are all doing a fantastic job!

My house. Well, someone else's house. I have weighed up the pros and cons and with everything going on right now, decided we do not need to add to the stress. Plus on second inspection with realistic head on, it is too small. And they are asking an unreasonable amount bearing in mind the BIGGER house next door sold for 10k less last month. It also had a garage. I have also over the weekend though found out a new development in the same town has just been granted planning permission so will be viewing buying a house there in 2ish years time as a goal. It will be bigger and I will have longer to save.

Also DP's whinging is driving me nuts. He has convinced himself he is dying and I just do not know what to say. Still no further forward on scan but he is going to chase it tomorrow. He is really struggling with silly things and it is driving him and me mad. Sad

BigPigLittlePig · 01/07/2013 22:17

I used a bad word apparently Blush

Anyhoo.

Routine. We get up at 6.30, breakfast at 7, nap at 9, bottle 10.30, lunch 12, nap 12.30, bottle 3.30, nap 4, tea 5.30, bath 6, bf 6.30 and bed by 7. Boom.

YW hi-5 for kick ass letters. Have had my fair share of dickhead landlords, luckily our current ones are luvverly, they even sent a card and chocolates when F was born (back in the dairy guzzling days om nom).

Madam hope the littlest madam is getting some good shut-eye, and lets you get some too.

Off to bed myself now. Try not to chat quite so much tomorrow laydeez, I had 5 fecking pages to catch up on this evening Grin

TheDetective · 01/07/2013 22:19

Cunt? Shit? Fuck? Wank? I mean, I don't think there is a bad word that has not been spoken on this thread?!

Helloooooooooooo? Sweary fucking wednesday everybody?!

I think MNHQ need enlightening Grin.

MissMummy1 · 01/07/2013 22:19

YW if you need any help with arse badgery landlords let us know. Also, will you be at Maria's tomorrow? I have no time to stay but can drop nappies of to you there (sorry not sure when I'll get a chance to come through to KDY)

OR... if we arrange a meet next week somewhere I can give you them then? Let me know what suits. xo

BigPigLittlePig · 01/07/2013 22:20

G-A-Y Confused

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/07/2013 22:20

Ahhhh pass thank you so much. You are absolutley lovely. I did do a...what...me? double take. You've made me go all gooey Grin

TheDetective · 01/07/2013 22:22

AHAHAHAHAHA

Bad BP!

Did you not mean with gay abandon? Are we not allowed to use such a word?

Hmm
BigPigLittlePig · 01/07/2013 22:23

Watch out det, you'll be getting deleted at this rate too!

I meant it like, something was stoopid. Apparently that is not allowed. Naughty BP indeed. Am suitably scolded.

Bed is calling. Must. Drag. Self. Up. Stairs.
