I think we all probably got piles, but some are less shy than others.

TheDetective · 29/06/2013 22:47

I mentioned that my scar when it rubs (on the outside) felt like piles to the anaethetist who jabbed his needle in me the other day. Grin

He then seemed very concerned that I should know what it feels like to get piles. Confused

I didn't know what to say!!

TheDetective · 29/06/2013 22:48

He wanted to know if I had them now?!

He'd just had his head about 5 inches from my arsehole FFS?!

I think he'd of noticed!!

ILikeItUpTheArse · 29/06/2013 22:55

Piles pop in and out sometimes according to certain conditions. It is common to have them in pregnancy but to retract later.

MadameGazelleIsMyMum · 29/06/2013 22:56

I did VQ. I was totally thrown by your denial. But actually, you don't feel like you at the mo, do you?

Braced for a long night here. DD has a temp, in with me. She's normally completely DH's child, but wants mummy when she isn't well. DH stil downstairs with DS.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 29/06/2013 23:00

Perhaps I should sign off with VQ at the end of each post. I still want to be VQ but want to leave the name for a while if that makes sense.

I had a look at my previous names and had a giggle.

Kaffywaffy - the royalty made mincemeat of me with that one. Lasted about 3 hours and swore I would never come back.

Bollocks2u remains a favourite.

Williewarmer, stinkypinky, muppetminder, fond memories indeed. VQ has lasted the longest.

TheDetective is still mine Grin

ILikeItUpTheArse · 29/06/2013 23:02

I don't feel like me at the moment. I feel like I am letting the brand down Sad

Anyhoo, must sleep or at least try.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 29/06/2013 23:03

Hope DD is soon well Madame x

TheDetective · 29/06/2013 23:24

Bollocks2u2 Grin

G'night!

Watching Grease with DP. There are lots of smutty jokes in my house tonight! Grin

My mum said she is giving O the number for childline when I sent her the babyjail pick. I said what about parentline for us poor abused parents eh?!

TheDetective · 29/06/2013 23:26

She's joking, just to clarify! She said it's payback Shock.

She said I was navigating the stairs up and down at 10 months!!!

She said she would tell me to get Each Peach Pear Plum (my favourite!) and I would climb up and get it, and come back down on my bum!

I don't think O understands any words yet. Certainly not No. That's for sure...

PetiteRaleuse · 30/06/2013 00:11

Naughty naughty. I would have guessed immediately it was vq . I have a guest this weekend so have not been following closely. Detective Shock that you insisted it was me ! :)

PetiteRaleuse · 30/06/2013 00:24

Gazelle I refer to you as such to differentiate you in my head from all the other people in RL that I call Madame something. Or the cold callers I just call Madame. Besides, gazelles are cute.

chasing I have my fingers firmly crossed that the unmentionable might become mentionable. Glad you survived what must have been a trying day.

vq thanks for complimenting my spelling and grammar.

LuisGarcia · 30/06/2013 00:37

To all who have been asking, J is fine, it's just a cold and he's almost over it already, thank you. It was just the cruel irony of the situation that was noteworthy.

You know when you fall asleep on your arm and wake up with just no sense of it being there or any control of it or feeling... that's how it was described to us that he felt about his mouth. We were told that once the wires were connected he'd be able to talk, and would then need a couple of years help learning how and catching up on the three years language acquisition he's missed. The amazing thing is once the wires were connected he just started talking perfectly. He's been listening and learning all along. It's not the same as late talking, which resolves itself eventually, this needed intervention. It's related to autism, although rarer and not as disruptive. But even his SALT has been blown away by how effective it's been.

Oh, and overnight, L has her first two teeth.

M mmmmmm mmmm mm mmmmm mmm mmm mmm Chasing

Whatever it was, I'm glad you liked it, UpTheAr..... oh wait Blush

TheDetective · 30/06/2013 00:42

1st bloody wake up. Why? He was crawling in his sleep and I heard him over the baby monitor as he crawled in to the headboard. And screamed.

He was definitely asleep doing it as he was making his light snoring noise while shuffling could be heard as he moved around!

ChasingDaisy · 30/06/2013 02:19

Ha, no piles here Madame Grin

I too read the thread backwards and play the 'who's post is this?' game. Pass is very identifiable, as is kyz (I luffs her too) and Det to name but a few.

First wake up here, so a good 7 hour stretch.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 30/06/2013 02:33

Detective I guess he is sleep crawling? My girls would do similar things when they learned a new skill as they process everything overnight. It should pass. I hope it will anyway.

Third waking for me. I find it hard to go to sleep, then wake up frequently. This last time was due to J coughing though. Just staying awake on purpose for a bit to make sure he is ok.

PR how are you feeling today? Hopefully having your pal visit has given you the opportunity to talk about your recent upset. Looking forward to seeing your response :-)

Evilwater · 30/06/2013 03:00

First waking for me, nappy changed and bottle given. Nite all
Evil

Lily311 · 30/06/2013 05:01

She is still sleeping... Went down at 6.45, she was exhausted. She mastered humiliating me, happy when it's just the two of us but huge screams in shops, on the street. As soon As she can't see anyone she stops and happy again. Thanks baby girl.

I often feel disconnected from the thread, too much happening. I have no time to follow it. I swear it was easier when she was a newborn.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 30/06/2013 05:55

VQ here btw.

Lily I guess that is good that too much is happening for you to keep up with us. That means that you are living a full life hopefully. Little rascal O for playing up to a crowd! Feel free to dip in and out of the thread as you feel you can. There is always FB. You are part of the quiche whether you post or not, and remain in our thoughts x

ILikeItUpTheArse · 30/06/2013 06:52

I have been up since 5am with a poorly little boy. DD2 slept through without coughing, so J has taken on the mantle of keeping me out of mischief.

He has a temp, squirts, vomiting, cough, wheeze, but his skin looks a lot better. This is pretty much the norm in this house sadly. It should not be.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 30/06/2013 06:53

Squits even.

VQ

PetiteRaleuse · 30/06/2013 06:56

arse having my friend here is taking my mind off it to a certain extent, but since I received the mail everytime I think about it I kind of feel cold, my stomach hurts, and I hardly sleep. And I was already hardly sleeping. It's not like me to get so upset about work, but this feels so personal and spiteful, and so twofaced. On the phone a few weeks ago I was blindsided by her kindness, when I had been expecting a confrontation. I couldn't see any readon why my request would be refused.

PetiteRaleuse · 30/06/2013 06:59

No, it should not be the norm. You are going through a horrible time. I don't have any suggestions.

ILikeItUpTheArse · 30/06/2013 07:15

Bullying. Blatant bullying. Caused by jealousy I would think. I was bullied in a previous post and it was horrid. She too would be really nice, then stab me in the back. As she was due to retire Occ Health signed me off until she went. I should have fought harder but she broke me. It took a long time to recover, if I actually did.

Evilwater · 30/06/2013 07:25

Morning all.
Sorry to read of the bullying at work. It seems to be rife, at the moment with work places under money problems. It seems that instead of paying out, they want people to leave, by any means possiable.
