VQ That is one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me, thank you Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 20/05/2013 08:43

Gosh detective you have had a weekend of it. Hope things are looking up.

A bridge too far vq Definately.

Good luck today kirrin

Sad fell over yesterday, I slipped on a bit of DS1s farm Blush I feel black and blue all over, I am not but I feel it. My wrist is really sore, it isn't swollen but very painful, is one i have broken, badly, before. Should I get it checked out or assume is a sprain.

And the washing machine is still broken.

So is a sorry for self day.

Evilwater · 20/05/2013 08:45

Morning all! Sleep is now at my house! YAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYY!!!! Grin

chasing- we all are amazing, we all need more than rock bottom. If I had space at my house I'd say come here. Devon is the last place he would look for you.

pass a 4x4 day is something we both enjoy, driving in lots of mud and through water. He found out that in my will I'd left N to my sister, of course not happy about it, (among other things) but I told him I'd had to name some one as we are not married. Only several hours before he told me, "I've got to that point of wanting to shake him, but you've been there" Confused

det yay on more sleep.

Evil

PurplePidjin · 20/05/2013 08:56

Envy of sleepers. 10, 12, 2, 4 and 5 here.

Luis is definitely male or at least very very butch looking

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 08:56

Sophia I would get it checked out and be very careful with your wrist regardless of what they say.

Dr appt 12.30. DH due home 12.30. Will wait for DH.

Again J seems quite bright in himself, but continues to whack both ears and is coughing like an old boy on 60 a day. If I could bottle snot I would be rich. I want his ears and chest checked.

MIL and SIL visiting this weekend. Deep deep joy. Cannot contain myself with excitement at the prospect

Luis Grin

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 08:58

PP it was the run yesterday yes? How did VVVDH get on? I can imagine it was an anxious time for you considering recent events. So sorry sleep is still lacking. He will get it soon.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/05/2013 08:59

You need to live further from your ILs vq

Mine never come to visit

BigPigLittlePig · 20/05/2013 09:20

Morning all.

Sorry to hear of poorly LOs - madam and VQ, and poorly/injured mummys too. Sophia best to get your wrist checked over, given your previous break.

Detective thank goodness O decided to sleep, glad you are feeling marginally more human. Perhaps he would care to give lessons to his fellow sleep dodgers? I'm looking at you, LuisJunior, PidjChick and MiniBees

Once F had decided to sleep, she had a good night, only waking at 2.30 for a feed which I may have nodded off during, and up for the day at 8. She had some banana porridge this morning. It went down like a cup of cold sick, which is about what it looked like too.

Off to ring the GP now for an appointment to discuss reflux, and get a dietitians referral. Wish me luck!

Passmethecrisps · 20/05/2013 09:20

Morning.

That sounds dreadful evil. You must be constantly on edge -
No way to live. I am glad you got your will sorted out though. And delighted that you got some sleep!!

Hoorah for sleep det! Good idea to give it a few nights just to check

Envy at sucking snots out with your mouth. A mother's
Love really does know no bounds. It is a fear of mine that one day I grab the wrong end of the snot sucker and suck at the boggie filled end. Bleaurgh. I once used it in front of my mum and I thought she was actually going to throw up.

Are you off to the docs today VQ?

Is kirrin off to work today?

What about madame? Better night? Have a good day. Drink good coffee

BigPigLittlePig · 20/05/2013 09:20

Oh, and how could I forget. Chasing Thanks - you will get through this, and be a stronger person for it.

Passmethecrisps · 20/05/2013 09:23

Good luck BP! I actually ate some of the nutramigen cereal I was trying to get P to eat this morning. DH and I both stuck a finger in it and tried some. We were both silent for a minute before realising that we were supposed to be saying "mmmmm! Yummy! Deeeeelicious!" Etc.

She wasn't fooled.

BigPigLittlePig · 20/05/2013 09:25

Hahaha oh lord, it's going to be a proper nightmare, isn't it?!

Next available appointment is Thursday. Thursday it is then!

Passmethecrisps · 20/05/2013 09:28

Plenty time to get your thoughts in order then. You thinking of going down the formula route?

TheDetective · 20/05/2013 09:28

Quick post - off for shower and to get out this bastarding house!

GP appt at 12.10 for us :)

VQ O was in the Moses basket. Where he has been this last 10 days or so. I think it is noise and light. Mostly noise. But light for the early wake ups.

I woke him banging pans in the kitchen at 7.45 but he did not cry. DS1 told me he heard shuffling Grin and when I went in he was staring at the ceiling and just beamed at me. Grin

He's back asleep already Shock.

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 09:32

Yes. Good luck indeed BP. Do not expect anyone to know anything about anything except the dietician.

Pass I am taking J to be looked at. I feel a bit better this morning so think I may escape a chest infection. I need to see them about my ankle anyway as I had to cancel my last appt.

Kyzordz · 20/05/2013 09:36

Morning all. yaaay for sleep detective :)

vq really hope j feels better soon poor soul, hope you get to catch up on sleep tonight.

hope your first day back at work is ok kirrin it is today isn't it?

lo decided 6:15 was morning today, but he is forgiven because that was the first time he peeped. after his horrendous bed time. I do think it's separation anxiety pass after reading up on it. just quite early and so far just night time. Now, how to fix it??

BigPigLittlePig · 20/05/2013 09:37

Pass it was my intention to mix feed once I return to work in 6 weeks time, but am ignoring that as I do need to sleep at night so reverse cycling as stunt suggested isn't a great idea. And I don't think I could express enough plus work full time, without running myself into the ground. So yes, aim to get a prescription for some chip fat formula. But mostly just want some advice on weaning, and when to trial things etc. Feels like I'm swimming in a very murky ocean, with no clue.

MsJupiterJones · 20/05/2013 09:39

Good luck BPLP! Hope you get something sorted.

Det hope you get the Nutramigen AA prescription ok.

VQ I can't believe you braved the snot sucking! I quite enjoy doing the Nosefrida sucker thing Blush but L doesn't mind it.

We are going to Jersey. On the boat right now actually (9 hrs!) but still within phone coverage. Mum thinks I am hilarious for dressing him in a sailor outfit. She thinks I think he is a dolly. Bloody noisy dolly. Better sign off now though, have a good week everyone. until I find wifi

PetiteRaleuse · 20/05/2013 09:47

Have a great trip jupiter

Passmethecrisps · 20/05/2013 09:55

I hope you took a picture JJ! I demand to see sailor L.

BP if you can get a dietician app you will be fine. Ours is wonderful - knowledgable, open to discussion and very dedicated. I was just thinking the other day that I had planned to BF until 6 months so I would be stopping now anyway. All that emotion and heartache over a period of time which seems to have gone in the blink of an eye!

kyz I think separation anxiety is something they just need to grow out of. P shows signs of it occassionally when she is tired and we are around other people - she becomes a koala baby. I am not sure how long it takes to pass. But it will! What about something which smells of you in the cot with him?

ChasingDaisy · 20/05/2013 10:09

Yep kyz I think separation anxiety is something you just need to ride out. As I keep telling myself....O's is quite extreme though. Nice to feel wanted I guess Hmm

Bad night here. Suspect teething. Or bad stomach from weaning. Or regression. Fuck knows. But giving him a day off solids anyway.

Have a good trip JJ

YellowWellies · 20/05/2013 10:20

Awesome news Det - maybe give it 3 nights to bed in then try him back in his own room (with a black out blind!) just in case it was the sleep regression - decorating two rooms is going to cost a fortune and you'd already made O's room fab. I'm so unimaginative but so far the sum total of decorating Jonas' room has been to install 2 black out blinds Blush

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/05/2013 10:21

Have a fun trip jj

E slept like a dream again. DD1 did not again. I can't believe she has got to the age of 3.4 sleeping beautifully and is now causing havoc at night time. In knackered, much more so than when E was waking several times a night as I just used to feed her and nod of. Now I'm up dealing with a child I have to be more awake and it takes me ages to get back to sleep. Sorry I realise this is insensitive to those with poorly, refluxy, and non sleeping babies. I just need to rant about it. She spends the day tired and grumpy as she's not sleeping well. We were late for preschool this morning but she's there now so am enjoying the peace ignores E bashing her noisy monkey I ordered a ladybird night light toy thing from amazon last night. I hope it has magical Ewan properties.

Hope you all have a good day. kirrin thinking of you.

bplp dieticians rock. Hope you get the advice and support you need.

Bryzoan · 20/05/2013 10:49

Good plan vq :-) Don't let mr detective give him lessons whatever you do!

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 11:03

JJ Jersey will be lovely. Have fun, and lots of pics on FB please. The snot was over in a moment and so worth it for the peace. Not as bad as a BJ Grin and yes, I did spit.

J vomited again. Everyfuckingwhere. DD2 was horrified. It is just me and the two little ones this morning. I have had to resort to the iPad for DD to get some peace without her climbing and just being a terror. She is still not right - hideous cough so I think it is bronchiolitis like last time.
